He turned his attention to Colonel Kaine as she began the meeting. After she explained the specifics, he raised his hand as he thought of a question, then verbally posed it

"What sort of supplies have the pirates been stealing? Food? Weapons? Medicine?

If it were weapons, he was sure there will be a fight

She looks to Moon. " Just food, medicine, clothing and other basic needs along vith building materiels . Lt. Moon."

Sounds like the Pirates may have a colony near by or are stealing for one he adds

He gave a nod to Major Kaine as she specfied what the pirates were pirating. He thought for a moment then heard what Colonel Hall said. He chuckled to himself, glancing his way.

"Those are some of my thoughts as well, Colonel"

Since this colony is close to Breen space. Do you think the Breen may have anything to do with it?

I mean they could be selling the stolen items to the Breen? Or hiding out in Breen space?

Doc has been to this section of space some years back and has deal with the Breen before.

As Colonel Kaine began the briefing, Kestra looked towards Colonel Kaine and listened in on the briefing. As well as everyone else that had spoken.

"They could be under some distress, Ma'am. Perhaps I should come with the medical teams for aid.", she said.

She nodded. " Yes Colonel Hall that is possible." She then turns to the Doctor. " Starfleet Command agrees vith you Doctor. If the Breen are aiding the Pirates ve must put a stop to it. But most important stop the kidnapping of colonists for the slave traders." She then looks to Kestra and nods. " Very vell Lt. Elburn you can join the doctors medical teams." She waited to see if anyone else had anything to add be for she continued

She sat there and listened, so far she was in full agreement with the comments made. But for the Breen she wasn't so sure. However she would not put it past them.

She looked at all of them and seeing no one else with a question. She continued. "Down to mission specifics. Once ve get to Valeria ve establish space/air superiority. That will be your job Lt. Lassiter, I vant to control a 160 kilometer around Valeria. Once that is done.

Ve Vill help vhat local authority is still operating. Lt Col Hall, Major Iverson I vant you to set up a command post in the city. I vant it secured so ve can beam down the medical teams." Looks to the Doctor. "do vhat you can to help." Looks Back to Lt. Lassiter. " Once ve have this area secure I need you set up escorts for the relief aid cargo ships on the way. I also vant a cap (combat air patrol) around the Tarawa at all times."

She looks to the Chief engineer. " Chief who long can we push the engines at warp 9.9?"

He then looks at the Chief of Engineering when Kaine asks how long they can maintain Warp 9.9

She stood there on the bridge waiting to see what the next mission might be. As she looked around the bridge she thought this was a nice change of pace from being a ground pounding grunt.

Marc listens to Colonel Kain and adds some notes of his own concerning flight rotations then finally responds. Colonel, I think there are a few assumptions we need to make. We should assume the Pirates have some sort of base of operations of their own. If they are stealing from them then they have a large stockpile that could not be transported on bulk in the type of ships pirates are known to use. Second, we have to assume they have eyes above and below that planet looking for exactly what we are about to do. So the first question is: Are we here on the clock or indefinitely?Second question is : How proactive do we want to be? The reason I ask is if they assume a time table they may simply wait it out.

It's possible they are helping them transport there stolen stockpile and build a base...in fact a new base. When I was on the Monitor ve destroyed a base they had near the black cluster."

Starfleet Navy's super carrier ve could be there a veek or 5 month's, they could not say vhen it vould be online. So we are not under any time table." She stopped to see if he had another question
