He left the dinning room and started to walk aimlessly his mind wandered to Emma. He thought of all the mistakes he made and knew he would have work at controlling his jealousy. It was called a green eye monster and until he meet Emma he never fully appreciated that saying.
It was a green eye monster, always looking for the slightest sign of cheating. Even the most innocent thing would be turned into something it never was nor untented to be. And he paid the price for that he lost the one thing he was so worried about losing. Did he bring the worse thing he could imagine by his own actions?
He also knew he would need to open up more then he had in the past. If not he would stay in the same pattern of turning off people before giving a proper chance.
He was gonna work on these two faults of his. And this colony would supply him the opportunity to do it. Far from Earth, family and friends, yup perfect time.

As Chase went on his walk she could not help but feel a certain sadness in his actions.She said nothing to him it was often best to let men work things out by themselves.Plus they were only just becoming friends and she did not want to over step her bounds.
Standing,"I am going to get a cup of coffee would anyone care for anything while I am up?"

In his walk he started to pass a gym, then on an impulse he walked in. He changed into a sweat suit that he purchased at the gym. It was the one thing he didn't take with him. Shame since he had about 6 he gave away, oh well. Seems he should have listened to Emma.
He began by doing some stretches to work out any kinks. Then he walked to a group of people who were doing some calisthenics.
Luckly the group had just started. Getting into line he keep pace with them. It was the usual workout. When it finished he toweled off and then stood in a group of men discussing sports. He joined them for the next 10 minutes, really enjoying himself, and forgetting about her awhile. He left and went to his quarters to shower and change.

He got back to his quarters and showered, then walked out and laid down on the bed. He decided to a nap and since Troy his roommate was busy on Thales, he didn't worry bout putting on anything but his briefs.
He must have been more tired then he realized cause 3 hours later he got up. Looking at the time he shook his head, he decided to eat with the others. Getting up he went to the dinning room.
Entering he saw them at the table and nodded then went and got his dinner. He decided on meatloaf, potatoes, mixed vegetables. With a cup of coffee and a large piece of chocolate cake. Chase sat down, smiling at them.
"I fall asleep after finishing a round at the gym. Would you believe it?" he laughed

"No problems mate we all need a little down time every now and then.That food looks pretty tasty I need to get some chow myself."Standing he walked to the replicator and decided what to order.

He spent a good long while just holding her after she spoke her heart’s desire to him and he then spoke back.
Do you think that it is even possible with the colony being just getting off the ground for us to get married legally?
This was sure some question that she probably had in her head so he just added voice to it. Spending all this time with her made him realize just how much she meant to him and in his mind he needed to plan for anything.
I think that it is pretty clear as to why I ask that not only for myself but for my brother as well as we both have women in our lives we truly care about and want to provide for their needs in every way.
He then kissed her forehead and waited for her thoughts on the matter wondering if she was going to take offence to his questioning or if she was going to just take it as an inquiry.

Seaming to have dozed off in the chair like he would at home after a meal he woke up to find people talking again. This time Chase was talking to Kelly about his bought with the gym. This produced a yawn and a stretch out of him before he spoke,
Sorry gentlemen seams this old mountain goat decided to nod off. Good meal does that to a man…just wasn’t expecting to do it upright in a chair. Normally when at home we recline for a meal and I just nod off that way.
He then smiled a bit trying to convey that he was trying to be a bit funny about his nodding off so unexpectantly. Joining the line of conversation he spoke,
Breakfast does sound good now that I’m up but first a shower. I will see you both shortly.
With that he wandered out of the mess hall for a bit of a stroll to find a watering hole on the ship that could do the job he was looking for it to do.

She sat there on the floor with him, in his arms, feeling like she was wrapped in a cocoon of love. She didn't want to move, she didn't want to think. She just wanted to feel

She looked up at him with a thoughtful expression. That question has been in the back of her mind for some time now but had never moved to the front, until he voiced it himself.
The law is her domain, not just catching criminals or stopping crime, she studied most of the conventional laws and looked to see if there could be loopholes or ways to deal with different things as they came up
She heard him speak again and she smiled at him. Indeed, it was quite apparent why he voiced his thought, not only for them but his brother as well. She felt his kiss on her forehead and she reached up to kiss his cheek "I am certain that we can find a legal way to marry, both you and myself along with Ivan and Skye, and any others that decided to share their lives with those they met on this ship. I am certain that the Governor is able to perform such events as marriage. If not he, then perhaps the Captain of the ship, or any other ship that would visit the Colony. If those two options don't plan out then we could wait for a priest to arrive and one other option I could think of is to live as common law man and wife until we could legalize the union between us."
She paused in her answer to look to see what his response would be to the options that she voiced

As the days blended into weeks, then months the passengers grew restless. No one had promised them it would only take a week. But finally word was sent back, the advanced party was returning within the week.
Finally they would have the chance to hear about thier new home and help to decide on which site. Excitement began to grow.

Word was spreading quickly concerning the return of the advanced scouting parting, comprised of colony members. He overhead the people at the next table talking about it.
He looked at everyone seated, "Hey, I just overheard that they're getting ready to return and should be here soon. I don't know about any of you, but I can't wait to get to the surface and start building."

He looked at Jennifer, "I agree. Its gonna be alot of work and at first we all be centered around a central area. Usually for a 2 yrs or in some cases 5 yrs. Makes it easier to protect and support each other."
"I heard of one colony that branched out earlier within the first year. But they had ideal conditions on a planet that had almost perfect weather patterns. Now, how often does that happen?"
He took a sip from his coffee mug.

Sara Listens to Chase and Jennifer then looking at both "I can't way to see Troy" she smiles as she takes a drink of milk.
After Months she has a bunny bump on her stomach, she laughs "And getting off this ship will be nice"
She then seen Kelly return with his food "You heard right" Beth was walking up behind him carrying a tray of fired chicken and cornbread to share with Sara
Sara laughs "Wez keep sitting at thiz table they gone thunk wez never left it" she sets her tray down
"First thang iz your going to see the saw bones" she then sits down
