"It is good we have you with us, or we might not have even made it out of Starbase 5." Hitomi laughed to ease the sting of that statement, she had learned the hardway that sometimes her humor could be a little on the harsh side. It was nothing she meant to do, it was just the way she was. Unfortunately, such a sarcastic and acidic streak had served her well in Med School. |

"Ya know, that goats might not thrive there. We need to be careful not to disrupt the natural order of Thales. Too many times in history, when a species was introduced they actually took over."
"With very bad results, since no natural predator or disease organism, was there to keep the numbers down. Or an alternate food found on the planet for them, caused a plant to become extinct. My job is to prevent those things from happening." She finished her meal.
"I'm sorry sometimes I can get boring with talk of my work."

He smiled at to laugh a little,"Don't you go appologizing now for being just you Skye Logan. Not when you are with me, at least. Because if I didn't like it by now I would have said something."
"Besides, for all intensive purposes I'll be a partner in your work. Me being a man who rases animals for saluter. I need your exsperties to tell me what will thrive there, and what will just be a pain in the reare. Since we both want this colony to work out. Got to work rather dilagently about that."
He smiled," But for now you are Skye Logan. Princess of Ivan Remisus's heart. So you are welcomed to talk about what you please when you please and how you please." He finished his meal and took a drink of the water that he had with him. " And don't you let Cerisus scare you off. I'll take care of him."

He had to think for a moment. People outside of his family were never really interested in who he was. He had to formulate in his mind what he wanted to say before he said it.
I'm not that too terrably interesting of a person really. Back at a time my family was a royal family of Egypt. We accumulated vast wealth and richs. We had a fancy place to live and people to tend to us. That was decades ago now.
Now, we just do what we can to make our live better. We raise animals for our own consumption and for sell. We rase crops, we fish out of the Nile River. I was the head heards men for my Father as he trusted me with the goats and sheep.
I trained horses for my family as well. They were once trained for war now they're trained to heard the bigger livestock, to plow the fields in the fall...to run and impress people with their spirit."
He had to shack his head to get back to reality he was drifting a bit back to home.
"Is that what you wanted to know about me Skye or is there more?"

If I may ask you something, and I don't mean to seem ethnocentric or anything, just curious. I've studied Terran cultures to a degree. If I'm not Mistaken, you are descended from the Asian continent. More accurately, the island of Japan. Am I Correct?" "The reason I asked, I used to go to a Terran colony where I had some acquaintances. they had an Asian village there. The USS Mercury will be leaving in 30 minutes. All passengers not on the Mercury are to report to the boarding gate.
