She is big enough to bench press me but its worth a shot with drop dead gorgious looks like that and that smile...just lights up the room.
"Oh yeah. Beautiful smile. Gorgeous hair. Bet she can bench press both of us" He chuckles
He turns back to Ivan "Sorry that you couldnt sleep. All the excitement of the impending meeting get to you or you thinking about Skye?" he wiggled an eyebrow at him then laughed

She turned to see a man she saw as she walked in come over and greet the rest of the group. From what she was told, he would be the governor, the head of this whole Colony operation
He introduced himself as Ravin DelaCroix. She gave him a nod and a brief smile "pleased to meet you, Governor. Myrna Quinn, Colony police and security"

My mind kept racing about manythings. That and my leg was bothering me. I forgot something I was supose to do last night because of the stress of just being. You didn't anger anyone. Infact I would say brother you pleased someone very well last night. Such beauty surrounds us now. Ivan smiled and then looked at the ground to mutter something. You are right brother beauty surrounds us now and will contiue to do some for the rest of our lives. The beauty he was thinking of rest souly in the eyes of Skey and what he saw in them as well as the colony and what he saw comming forth from everyone working togeather to make it possible.

Hitomi felt a little overwhelmed. She had never expected so many people to filter out of their cabins and into the Mess at all once. It was not that she was being rude, just that it was a little to take in all at once. She really was one of those people that hated crowds and would rather sit at home with a (text)book than hang out at a bar.
"Hi!" She did manage to offer those that greeted her. "Yes, I am the new Doctor. Honestly though, I do not want to see any of you my office. I would rather be a bored Doctor than a busy one." She hoped her grin would let everyone know she was joking and just trying to break the tension that had built up inside her during her brief silence.
"I hope to go with you on some of those trips to collect samples, Skye. It would be good to see first hand what we are up against on this planet. I really am more of a hands on, kind of girl."

Myrna Quinn, Colony police and security" He shook her hand "Very nice to meet you, Constable. I'm actually glad I ran into you. I was up most of the night going over things and security of course, I consider a major factor. Perhaps later on we can discuss the security conditions for the Colony. I intend to take a proactive role myself in these matters." He smiled at all at the table. "I've been keeping to myself and observing. this has been an adjustment period for me. After this meeting, I'd like to have one of my own so I can listen to everyone's ideas on their respective tasks and roles, as well as how we are going to go about setting things up. But let's get through this meeting first." He smiled. |

"yes one meeting at a time sorry i was late apparently the mercury thought it was a scooner and decided i needed to stay below decks a hair longer " bringing a collection of diagrams blueprints and padds with him dropping the box off at the door.

I want to be a bored little doctor with a quiet country practice. I can sit out on the front porch in a rocking chair and grow old gracefully." She laughed at that image. "honestly, I would rather sit back and do research than try and figure out how to piece somebody back together after a fall or an attack by some wild and unknown creature. "I'd love to have on some of those field trips with me. Always nice to have someone to talk to." She nodded, "I agree. I am not much for crowds," She glanced around the now full mess, " But I do prefer one on one or even small groups. I doubt either the Governor or the security people would let us go wandering off into the sunset without an escort anyway." |

She shook the Governor's hand firmly, taking a moment to thinking about what Constable meant then she nodded, listening to what he had to say "Very nice to meet you, Constable. She nods again "I would be welcome to hear what ideas you have, Governor, I am sure together, our efforts will keep the colony crime free"
She listened as he spoke to the rest of the group "I've been keeping to myself and observing. this has been an adjustment period for me. She smiled a little, not relishing the idea of spending the day in meetings. she found them tedious and boring just to listen to others talk. She started to turn and make her way out of the lounge and to the meeting room

She heard the governor when he said they should have a meeting. She wasn't sure why but expected all these meetings to take place. Especially before they reached Thales.

He smiled at Skye. "once we have this meeting, I'm sure everyone will want a breather. I just think it's time I started getting input and ideas from everyone. Especially concerning our arrival and initial setup. I just want everyone to know that I'm here and available to anyone who needs help with anything."

"Of course Governor, I can tell yer wot I think, and wot I know based on the specialized reports I have. But until we are actually there most of this will be theory. But I'm more then happy to explain it." she smiled
