Ivan looked at Troy,"Yes, like rare flowers of the desert. To be charished always and kept close.
"Has to be in love. Only time he talks." Cerius laughed he was having way too much of a good time giving his brother greaf.
"I talk just fine thank you. Just am very quite about it. I can't help it if you can't hear me." Ivan then left the converstation at that not wanting to really start a hand to hand fight on the station with his brother even though he was sure Cerius would enjoy it. Displays of agression made Ivan rather uncomfortable.

Well, Dr, It appears it won't be long now. "How soon do you think?" She too noted the freighters leaving their parking orbit around the station and heading off to warp. "They travel slower than the transport ships, right?" Hitomi had to admit, that at the young age of 24, she might have felt little too young to take on the weighty role of Doctor to this fledgling Colony, the Governor didn't look too much older. Maybe they were all in for a learning experience together? The freighters are leaving first, since their slower than the transports. I believe they will arrive about three hours after we get there. I trust your trip out here was uneventful? Myself, I'm not very accustomed to long voyages, so this is an adjustment period for me. So where do you hail from, Dr? |

She watched as the freighters left holding Ivan's onto Ivan's arm. "Shouldn't be too much longer. It'll be good to get there. I for one am tired of this station."
She smiled at the newcomer Arron, "Pleased to meet ya."

So where do you hail from, Dr? "Alpha Centauri" She nodded with a proud smile. "My family was part of the first batch of people to move from earth to there and now I am one of the first to move to Sandoval! Yes, it was obvious that Hitomi was excisted and proud of the fact that both her family had been industrious enough to move to Alpha Centauri and that she was part of the colony." How about you, Governor? |

Really? ::He mused:: The daughter of pioneers becoming a pioneer herself. Sounds like a wonderful legacy.
Wouldn't it be interesting to be able to somehow see the coloy about 100 years after we've passed on. See what we left behind, how the local history will view us. Actually that's the part I'm afraid of. ::Laughs::
I'm from Eminiar seven. I have been officially declared a raving lunatic by my family, friends, and fellow Planetarians in general.
No one could understand why I would want to leave the clean sterile comfort of our automated world ot want to put his hands in dirt.
But for some odd reason I've wanted that all my life. Something totally different than the world I was born into.
Even our wars were automatic. We faught our neighboring world, Vendicar with computers. The computers decided who lived and who died. Not my idea of heaven.
I want to make something from scratch. Be rpoud of something. a part of something important.
Where I come from, when you wake up inthe morning, your menu of the day is decided. Your choice of clothes, your schedule is laid out before you.
The chance to shape and build our own lifestyle and pursue what we want, That I find exciting and enlivening.

She chuckled at that a bit, "So says your doctor! Honestly though, I am going to miss some aspects of Alpha Centauri. It's a trinary system, but one of the stars is barely visible it's so far gone. Makes for some incredible sunburns though. So many visitors came through my Family's climic burnt to a crisp just from being outside without protection."
There went that little bit of wistful thinking again. She really needed to call home and let them know she had arrived at Deep Space 5 in one piece.

Cerius considered Troy's words,"Until then I'll give him crap for it."
The brothers then noticed the new man Arron. He was kind of burly looking. Ivan bowed slightly to great the man. Cerius just smiled, "Camel trainers have to be strong men to do what they do you must be a builder."

In fact, one of the first things I'm going to do when we arrive at our new home, and set up our dwellings, is, I'm going to make a mess. ::He smirked:: Then I'm going to leave it there and not care about it for a while. I've heard a good bit about Alpha Centauri. Aside from being where Zephraim Cochran setlled before he dissapeared. I heard it was a little hot, but sonds like a nice place. I wouldn't mind seeing Earth. After all, the Federation helped end the war between my planet and Vendicar. You look like you're looking for something. Anything I can help with? ::He found that this Doctor had a gentleness to her that he found both soothing and compelling.:: |

"I have never been off planet on my own before and I need to send my Parents a message to let them know I made it to here safely. The Yanowan was having communications problems, so anything not related to their task was prohibited. They are probably about to send Starfleet out looking for me!" Now her smile brightened at her little joke.
It was true though, stuck on a freighter for a week with no communications to home was probably driving her family to start pulling their hair out in worry. Especially her mom. As the youngest, they tended to be the most protective of Hitomi, and were not all that happy with her choice of placement after graduation, but they supported her.

She gives Troy an affectionate squeeze as she listens to them talk "You two really know how to charm a woman" she says with a smile at Troy and Ivan
She then Looks at Cerius "It's great fun to Razz your brother, I miss Razzing mine" She thinks of her Brothers
Then Looking at everyone "I can't Wait to get going either and start a new lives" she then looks back at Troy "I agree being in Love brings the best out of you"
Beth was holding Kayla and bouncing her "Luve is Great Iz don't even ramember my life with out David in, and even thou he's on a Starship somewere he's always with me" she smiles
Sara goes to her rubs Kayla's head then kisses Beth's head "Sissy you have been in love with David sense you were 8, but I know what you mean"
Sara picks up her Guitar "A fun song" she starts to sing
"Lets Me Sis lets Me" Beth says Sara smiles and starts over playing
Beth Looks at Kayla and sings

He felt a squeeze from Sara as she told him "You two really know how to charm a woman"
He chuckled with a grin "It's pretty easy when it's true" He then gave a look to Ivan "right, Ivan?" He was pretty sure he would agree
He heard Cerius tell him "Until then I'll give him crap for it." He gave a slight shrug to him "Well, you are his brother. I guess that's what brothers do"
Beth pips in as she is bouncing Kayla "Luve is Great Iz don't even ramember my life with out David in, and even thou he's on a Starship somewere he's always with me" then Sara said that beth was in love with David since she was 8
He followed Sara over, standing behind her "That's what I call spending your whole life with someone" he grinned at Beth, good naturedly, then placed a hand on Sara's shoulder. He was looking forward to spending the rest of his life with Sara
Sara then picked up her guitar and started to sing "a fun song" but Beth cut her off and wanted to sing it herself. He thought she was good, but not as good as Sara. Perhaps he was bias?

Ivan noded at Troy's comment and smiled warmly at Skye. He listened to the song that was sung and let his brother talk to Arron.
