Marine Captain Quinn Troi walked into her new office that was constructed recently for her. Took a good look around her office and sat down at her desk. Tapped on her desk computer and cleared her schedule for tomorrow. Expect for 0700 hours. Her first appointment since her transfer from Navy to the Marine Corp as the Station's Counselor. Turned her desk computer off for the night. Decided to sleep in her office for the night. To make sure she doesn't miss the first appointment.

Marine Captain Quinn Troi finished talking with Flt Admiral Crystal Stuart. After FltAdmiral Stuart lefted her office, she finished her report of the first section. She heard the chime and looks up.
Marine Captain Quinn Troi: Come in.
The doors opened with the familiar hiss and noticed that it was Marine Captain Keith Fox. She smiles and gestured him to a chair.
Marine Captain Quinn Troi: Glad that you had came by. Go ahead and takes a seat. Tell me..is there something bothering you?
She gave a reassuring smile that it is okay to talk to her. That is what she is here for. Part of the counselor's job.

::The Marine Captain sat uneasily::
This is the first time for me....I..just needed to get this off my chest.
I love delta...but i'm worried for my daughter, stephanie. When my parents were killed..I was about her age and my father was a marine and my mother a security officer. I keep having these reoccuring dreams of being killed and her becoming an orphan and going through what I had to when I was a kid...
Do I sound crazy?

She listened to him as he talked. After he asked her, she smiled as she sat back in her chair.
Marine Captain Quinn Troi: No.. not at all. It's very normal for anyone to feel they way you feel when they had gone threw the same experiences. It is only natural to have reoccuring dreams. Even I had them when I had my first child. Reoccuring dreams are there for a purpose. They shows us what we fear and to realize that we need to face them head on. With my own experience, I realize that it may not happen to me. That I will actually live long enough to see my daughter grow up and have kids of her own.
She smiled at him. To reassure him that what he is feeling is only natural.

::He nodded to her a little:: But She's safer on Frontier than I am on the Pegasus. I'm just watching her...grow up and smile and laugh and I keep seeing Romulans...around her crib at night...and I turn back and I see nothing...
Romulans killed my family, and I fear that if I see a BoP...or a Romulan...I'm going to go crazy...or have a heart attack. It doesn't feel natural.

She continued to listen to him and then sat up straight a bit in her chair. Sensed his displeasure in the matter.
Marine Captain Quinn Troi: It does get very unnerving. When I had my last reoccuring dream, what I did was that I confronted them in my dreams. After awhile, I didn't have those dreams any more. When I had my first child, I was worried that she would have died the same way my father had died. Kept on having these reoccuring dreams to where she had died in my own arms. I, too, felt like I wanted to go crazy, but it all stoped when I confronted my fears in my dreams. I also, talked to another counserlor to get through this. It is natural for you to feel like that it might happened to you. I could sense of how much you love your daughter and wife very much. And would do anything to protect them. But do remember, that just because it happened to your parents, it doesn't mean it will happen to you.

She smiled and nodded.
Marine Captain Quinn Troi: You are welcome, Captain. My office is always open.
She watched him walked out of her office. Hoped that she had done well for her first day as Station's Cousnelor. She tapped on the computer that is on her desk. Made a brief log entry of the day.

She walked into her office and took a seat at her desk. Tapped on her desk computer and begun to make a few log entries. As well as her schedule, seen what it will be like for the next few weeks or so. She seen that it is pretty much clear for the next week. Actually, it's cleared for the several weeks. Finded it quite odd that hardly anyone stopped by her office, expect for a few crewmembers. She turned her computer off and stood up. Walked across her the room and out of her office. Headed towards the lounge.

She walked back into her office and noticed the note from Eve Taylan on her desk. Made a note and sent it to Eve and to tell her stop by when she can, that she can come by anytime that she needed to.
After she sent the note, she decided to look over her remaining reports that she had on her desk.

She walked back into her office and noticed another note from Eve. Decided this time that she should stay in her office, she walked to her desk and sat down as she picked up a PADD. Tapped on it and begun to read a few reports.
