'That happens to all of us. Well, whenever you do get a chance to see Tess, why don't you go ahead and ask her if things can be picked up where they are left at? It doesn't hurt to ask.'
She folded her arms as she leaned back into her chair.

'I don't mind getting along. We do have to work together on other missions. As long as it is professional.'
She gave a stern nod with a smile.

Marine Captain Quinn Troi walks back into her office and over to her desk. She sat down at her desk and began to go over her CNS reports. There haven't been many people coming to her, but she knows that she would be needed in the future. She loved[/i] her position as the Station's Counselor. It is one thing that keeps her happy, along with her children. Even though she had worked other positions before in the past, no other position would ever do other than the CNS post. She just hopes that no one takes her positions that she loves so dearly.
Quinn always wanted to help others out with their problems. She knows that there are other CNS out there that loves to help out too. How can she forget? But she just wants to help out as much as possible or even more. Quinn hopes she is doing a great job at her position. If anyone else replace her as the Station's CNS or if it was ever removed, she would think that she wasn't doing her job at all and that she is not even needed.
That is one thing that scares her the most. Afraid that she will never be needed by anyone. That no one would ever, ever need her or her help. CNS position is one post that keeps her happy in the Starfleet.
Quinn continued on going through her reports one by one. Checking to see who would be needing another counseling session.
