He simply got up and left, rolling his eyes as soon as he had turned his back on Greathouse
He walked around the marine deck to see if they were training like they were supposed to. Also to show off his new promotion

Gears> Congratulation Jackson they all start congratulating him Angle> looks we got call him Sgt now she smiles
David sees them all gathering around Jackson he slips out of the Room and heads to the TL and weights for it

He Looked at her Lt Xelakis he then looked at Marucs Lt Lessiter
I got a big promotion she says strait faced

Marc looked at the new rank pin and said with a smile. It looks like nowadays they'll promote anyone in this man's corps. Seriously, congratulations Lieutenant it was well deserved and long overdue. I was here to show the Counselor around the deck and show her how you 'ground pounders do business'. Does the Colonel have an insertion team on standby?

How did his Marines feel about him having made the jump as a mustang and how did he feel now that officer's pips separated him from them?

Thats our Training area we do all are combat training their as well as just BS with each other when time provides he walks over with them Attention he shouts

Seems Flame was the first to see his promotion and came over to congratulate him, followed by Gears, and Angle. He smiled at their praise and felt humbled by it "Thank you all, but it's really no big deal. I'm just the same person.. just with more rank"
A few moment later, he heard Greathouse's voice boom out over the deck and he snapped directly to attention, falling into line

Right now we have half this ship on standby. If you a familiar with the now defunct game of 'baseball' , You are taught not to sit in the batters box so long that you tense up too much. If Greathouse and his men didn't have something like this to break up the monotony, the men would be more on edge. I'm doing the same with mine. Thirteen hours is a long time. He smiles as the follows Greathouse. So you can see that this actually a therapeutic exercise.
