J.P. has been going over all the medical recorders of the senior staff of the ship. He see that he still needs to give a phycial to the new XO and Science officer. J.P. makes a note in his PADD to to see Lt. t'Fveik the new Science officer...who is a Romulan female. and Major Kaine the new XO..a Human female.
Once done with his paper work....J.P. tape his combadge...

Major Kaine...this is Doctor Rugter...I would like to see you in sickbay for your physical.

After arriving at sick bay she walked in and looked for the Doctor, and smiled at him as he walked over.

"Hello Doctor. My son finally got here. He's 9 months old, here's his medical history. I hope he didn't lose any weight or had a rough time with the trip here." Her voice had the unmistakable first time mom sound to it.

J.P. has just gotten back to sickbay himself went the Major walks in with her son.
He takes the medical recorder from her.

Well Major..I could give him a physical right now if you have the time.

looks over at her son...

So Ma'am ...what is the name of this good looking young marine?

It been sometime since he has given a physical to a child.

And by the way Major...My name is Lt. John Rutger...the new CMO on the Tarawa....Please to meet you and your son.

Smiling at the Doctor, "Hello Lt Rutger. Pleased to meet you. My son's name is David Michael Iverson, Jr. And, yes I have the time to wait while you give him physical. He's been in space travel now for over a week, and I just want to be sure hes fine."

"My husband died during a mission, and well he's all I have left of David. I guess I might be a little over anxious."

Major if you bring David over here to exam room #2...we can get started...

J.P. walks into exam room #2.

You may place him on the biobed...this will take a few minutes...I need to down load all his medical recorders into the ship medical logs and start a new medical history for our newest Marine on the ship.

J.P. walks over to the medical console in the room and starts the down load.

Major...If it is all right with you. I need to add both your and your husband medical recorders into David recorders. This is in case something come up and I need to do a family history on him...a medical history that is.

At this time J.P. has gotten into Starfleet Medical Data base..he has brought up the Major's family recorders and has started to down loading them. He now turns and look at the Major.

Major...I need your husband name please.

"His fathers name was David Michael Iverson. My full name including my maidian name is Sandra Ellen Hallsson Iverson."

Once J.P. place in her husband name....he starts down loading both family history into David new medical recorder.

As Major Iverson is standing by her son side, J.P. has a medical tricorder out and first starts to scan for any foreign anti-bodies that the child make have pick up from his trip here to the Tarawa. Once he is done with that, the doctor starts the physical. After a few minutes, J.P. has all the reading he need.all David vital signs come back good. David is alittle longer and his weight is just alittle over averge for the babe of 9 months old. Once done with the physical, J.P. looks over to the Major.

Ma'am...what we have here is a very healthly 9 month old baby boy. He took the trip here well and his scan show no foreign anti-bodies within his system. His physical growth is normal for a child his age. And like I said...you got yourself one happy healthly son...I wish more of my patients were as easy to deal with as your son was..So I think we are done here with your son. But I would like to see you back here once you get yourself settle in with your son. I see by your medical recorders it's been over a years since your last physical..But let get you and you son settle in first..Ok Major.

J.P. looks up from his tricorder and smiles to the Major.

[Major Sandra Iverson]

"Thank you Doctor. I have drills to run after I get my little man settled in and in day care. Ah lets see. Ok I can be here later but I will need to be in and out. Unless you want to wait another day."

She picked up Davy and started to rock him.

Well Major ...looking at your medical recorder over the last year....I would like to run a major physical on you. So lets say once you are ready for one we can schedule it.

looking at his PADD.

I have several more physicals to do this day...they were last minute replacement who were just got assign to the ship.

J.P. looks over at Sandra rocking her baby.

[Major Sandra Iverson]

She smiled at the Doctor. "Alright then after I check with my schedule I'll get back to you. Thank you Doctor."

She turned and left sickbay, making one stop at Day Care. Then after talking to them for a few minutes and handling them a tentative schedule she left for her quarters.

With Major Iverson and her son leaving sickbay...J.P. cleans up and walks into the corridor and see that the six new "baby face" Marines are waiting for him. One of the nurse hands him the first PADD...J.P. gives it a quick looking over and then speak..

Private W. Dobson...Your up first...follow Nurse Anderson into Exam room #1

With that the Marine just about jump up...

AYE SIR!!!!

Smiles comes to both the doctor and the nurse as the young marine falls in behind Nurse Anderson and heads for the room.
J.P see that this marine is just 19...he thinks to himself they are getting younger and younger these days...

After J.P. has finish with the last physical, he cleans up and walks over to his office. he then goes over and loads in all six medical reports on the new marines. He sents the finish updated reports to Starfleet Medical and then off to the Headquarter Marine Corps. J.P. cleck and see that he still has a few more Senior Staff officers to do and he hope to get them before they leave.

Once done with all his reports....J.P. gets up and heads out of his office. He stops at the med station and sign out with the on-call nurse. He tell her that he will be heading to his quarter if anyone wishes to speak or see him. With that the doctor heads for the turbolift.

As she walks into sick bay she bumps into the doctor as he was leaving. " Please forgive I did not mean to run you down. Vould you know vhere I may find Doctor Rugter?"

J.P. runs into the Marine Major as he was just about to leave sickbay. Is taken back a few steps..He looks at her rank.

I am Doctor Rutger.....Is there something I could do for you Major?
