She watched him come out of the water and walk to her, she listened as he said "That was a good swim. Swimming in "real" water, can't compare to the holodecks."
"That's so true" she said as she turned on her side to look at him, as he sat down next to her on the blanket, she watched the water dry on his Skin.
"Later, I'm gonna tackle that river from one end to next. it will take a few hours. But if you want you can follow me on the raft, or stay here. I'm looking forward to trying all those curves and bends in this river." he said as he put his face up to the sun to felt its warmth.
She laid on her back and enjoyed the warm of the sun on her body "I'll follow you on the raft, I have no doubt your an excellent swimmer but better safe than sorry" she says as she turns back to him "Besides I want watch you swim" she says with a smile

He stood up and went to the hovercraft, getting out some food he brought with him. He walked over to the blanket, sitting down he took out 2 sandwiches. They were large like the ones on Earth they called hero's.
"I got these in the city, not sure what they will taste like. It's suppose to be the favorite sandwich there."
He took a taste and then nodded his head, "Not bad." He then reached into a bag and took out 2 glasses with a bottle of water. After he poured her a glass, he took one himself.

She watched him Stand up, the walk to the Hovercar then walk back Sat down on the blanket, he took out 2 sandwiches. She smiles at as she take a sandwich
"I got these in the city, not sure what they will taste like. It's suppose to be the favorite sandwich there." he said, She takes a bite "Its quite good" she says
He liked the Sandwich the he He reached into a bag and took out 2 glasses with a bottle of water. and poured some she took her glass and took a drink "Swimming and a picnic, you know how to treat a gal" She says with a smile, she meant very word, she enjoyed being with him

He looked at her, unsure if this was a case of politeness or sincerity. He heard the cry of a bird and look up. Secretly happy for the bird cry. He saw it as it flew overhead and the dived into the water coming up with a fish wiggling in its bill.
"What do you do when not in sickbay?" He was trying to incorporate the politeness so necessary for humans but realized he was failing badly.

She could see he was unsure wither she was polite or sincere, she heard the bird call and looked up when he did to see the bird as it flew overhead and then dived into the water coming up with a fish.
She look at him when he asked "What do do when not in sickbay?" she smiled, and laugh inward at his trying to be polite
"I go to the holodecks and swim, I have several Programs I'm an expert swimmer" She says with pride "Well expert among humans, I also like to read, and cook" she says "but cooking not much fun when you cook for one" she says

"No disrespect intended, Commander, in my observation, you have strong feelings about returning to Cardassia, but you've chosen to continue your service here. Why is that?
She picked up the padd and studied it for a moment. His personal choices were his own and not something subject to her scrutiny but to find someone like him here was so unexpected and with Starfleet having specifically chosen her for this post, she wondered what other reasons might have influenced their decision.

A Great roar of laughter is produced regarding this statement one dragging into the next so winded he was almost in a fit of laughter " Dear Lt commander apparently Starfleet sent you here for my psych exaluation have you seen cardassia of late? come see the obsidian order open 9 am ro 5 pm earth standard time come marvel at the calm still waters of the Rekala lakes once glorious city of trade and import. cardassia is a tourist trap with bajoran travelers and pilgrams of all nature and clientile venturing here and there using Cardassia as a stop off point along the way to where ever the road ahead takes them I've little desire to return home and fora soldier starfleet seems the logical and wise choice we Cardassians do know how to pick a winner after all"

He nodded, "Guess so. But food preparation is a necessary task. That is why I attempt to see it in a positive way, even for one."
He layed back closing his eyes falling asleep. After 2 hours he woke up feeling dry. He got a glass of water and that helped him a lot. After he packed up he got the raft out and took it to the waters edge and waited for her to come.

She was about to reply when he laid back closing his eyes and fell asleep, She watched him sleep as she wonder if she offend him in someway, she watched him tell she fell asleep
A few hours later she woke up, she watched him get a glass of water. Then he packed up and got the raft out he took it to the waters edge.
She followed and got on the raft, She looked at him "Did I offend you somehow?" she asks

Let them rebuild according to the preferences of those who use Cardassia only as a base for their own interests? I will accept their assistance but not by sacrificing our culture and our control and when I return, I will have gained from my experience here and serve there again with pride."Her eyes blazed and she leaned forward over the table.
"I have no idea why Starfleet chose me for this post, but I was grateful to them for giving me the opportunity to serve with you..Sir."She sat back in the chair, hard, having issued her challenge in return.

Leaning forward into the verbally issued challange with a half hearted smile " tell me if you are as Cardassian as the blood that courses thru your veins you would surely understand when I say loch kaar daa see aa" smiling and leaning back against the chair " for Cardassia, till all are free and masters of thier own fates thier own ways of life till all families suffer no more till all things are equal and as one I fight for that I strive for that a free Cardassia a Peaceful unified senate a smoothly operating order and balance to things this" :casting his glance out the window at Bajor Silluited behind the freshly repaird Trevious"these things are not for me my life my choices are not my own they serve the imperial justice and work to bring about a better stronger Cardassia " Leaning even further back his posture indicating there would be no verbal prelude to all out assault.

She takes his hand "You didn't offend me" she says with a smile "And swimming in real water is a thousand times better and quite thrilling" she replies, both her words and eyes show she is sincere about everything she says
