He reached out with his hand and taking hers he helped her into the raft. "I don't want to concern you, but I can stay under the water for as long as 15 - 20 mins. And since that is where the Amorta takes place I could be that long."
"Tomorrow, I plan on swimming the river course with the raft attached to me. I was going to weight it down with different things but it will be nicer having you ride the raft. I'm trying to build up my endurance and lung capacity."
He pushed the raft into the water with her on it. "If I win it this time around it will be the first time anyone in my family has won it in, well over 2500 years."

"If you would like you can watch the Amorta. Its open to off worlders. Since your here, there is no need to wait until tomorrow. I will get the line, just a minute."
Without thinking he left the water quickly and webbing on his feet showed clearly. He usually did it so the webbing was not noticeable. He returned with the line, stepping into the water he secured the line to the raft and then he place an end around his waist. It had what resembled a reel, so the line would extend if he descend further. He pushed the raft out and then standing waist deep he looked at her and smiled. Turning once again to face down stream he drove in.
He didn't go far when he realized he must have sounded like an idiot again and probably hurt her feelings. Dilvo good job on that, he thought. He had to remember the ways of the Federation and adhere to them more, if this attraction was to progress.
As he swam he thought of home, and it was then he saw an unusual plant. He slowed and then mentally yelled at himself, Dilvo do not become distracted, its how you lost the last time. He continued on his way. Wondering how she was doing and if the ride was smooth.
He surfaced taking a few deep breaths he turned to her and waved then he was gone under the water again.

She sat in the raft "I would like to watch you" She watches him go get the line the webbing on his feet clearly showed, it didn't bother her
Once he returned he pushed the raft out stood in deep water smiled at her then dove under the water, "I love that smile of his" she thought as she held to the raft
She could tell this area was once beautiful but now after being in dispute for centuries by two groups of bajorians. then the recourses rape of the planet by the cardis its conflict torn and scarred by the cardi's it was in bad shape, but yet being their with Harid gave it a niceer look
She keep track of the time, as she enjoyed the ride on the raft almost 20 minutes she him surfaces take some breaths he waves then goes back under
She smiles and Waves but was to slow at it, as she watched as the raft is pulled along

As there was still some time, Deka issued a general notice to post both on the ship, and on the station.
"Leave is hearby cancelled. All Trevious personnel to return to ship immediately."

Exiting Dekas quarters several steps behind her on his way to the trevious once more looking thru the viewport windows seeing the gathering Bajorian transports still docked in habitat rings and prowling around the stations perimeter running his hand along the smooth glass walls and textures of the bannisters on his way to central operations and the stations commander for final protocal arrangements and orders

After hearing leave is now over, she gets up from where she was sitting, leaves Quark's Bar and makes her way back to the Trevious

He feels the tug on the line, turning he looks back to see if the line was tangling on something, a rock . When he see's its not he quickly rises to the surface thinking she might be in some kind of trouble. He looks at her.
"Are you alright?"
She looks at him in a questioning manner. He swims on the surface to the waters edge pulling the raft in.
"I have a feeling and its not good. See on my world we are separated by leagues. Its what we call it. There are only a few large land masses with smaller ones dotted across the oceans. And ah, I don't know how to explain it. I think we should be getting back. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong."
"Tap on your comm and have them pick up the hovercraft, while I dress then we can head back." As he dressed he wanted to hit himself. Your a master of screwing things up with the opposite sex.

Upon recieving the message to return to duty, Kyah sighs. She hadn't gotten to spend any time at all with Thomas as she had hoped to do. She needs to take the boys back to their babysitters before reporting to the bridge again.
She fixes her uniform and then packs the kids' stuff into bags again. Then she scoops the both of them up and takes them to the nursery next to sickbay. She drops them off and hops back on the tubolift as quickly as possible. She gets off on the bridge.

She taps her Com and has them pick up the hovercraft she walks over to were he got changed at their sending someone to get the hovercraft" she looks at him
She takes his hand and taps her badge "Trevious Two to beam to the ship" then smiles at him as they are beamed back

They re-materialized on the transporter pad in the usual white Federation lights.
"You two are lucky you made it back. Better get to your stations. That Cardi witch posted a notice telling everyone to come back, not even a com was sent out. You two at least made it back. Wonder how many others are not gonna make it back in time."
"It doesn't matter, we are back on duty." then to Reeba "Ma'am" with that done, he moves quickly and reaches the turbo lift just as Tail Kinker gets on it.
He walks in after Tail Kinker and looks forward. It was Tail Kinker who instructed the TR to take them to the bridge. Both he and Tail Kinker make it back in position before the command staff was on the bridge.
He immediately accessed his console and began reading the reports that were left behind.
