Nodding to Kiele, and watching the ladies begin to break up, she takes another experimental sip of the tea, and allows the flavor to bloom in her mouth.
"It is wonderful. I may wind up switching to it for my preferred tea." She smiles at Kiele again, her mind all ready beginning to run over the possibilities for her drink choice, and the wedding to come. Now that things were settling down some, her nerves were beginning to return with a vengance.

Reaching the restuarant that Summer Mist had chosen, he allowed her to go in first and he followed her in
As she stepped in, he heard her ask "It musst be harrd beinng so farr frrom yourr mate?"
Left Ear flashed in his mind, first as a healthy, young, beautiful, and alive. The second, lying broken, bleeding, crushed by fallen rocks and near death. He shook the images from his mind
"What mate"? He said a little irritably, with a twinge of sadness "I have no mate. My intended died on my second Walk. crushed by rocks"
He then thought of how it happened. How he hesitated and thanks to Left Ears's quick thinking, she pushed him out of harm's way, but she herself had paid the price
"It should have been me" he said, flatly

She felt saddness for him to lose the one he was going to mate like that

He brushed Left Ear's tragedy from his mind as she took his hand. That surprised him, but he tried not to show it "I'mm sso ssorrry" she says, regarding Left's Ear's death
The fur on his shoulder rippled as he shrugged "That is life. It cannot be helped" he said casually, then felt her shift the topic to a less depressing one

The waiter comes and she orders 3 rare steaks and some water

He nodded, not sure what to say on that. He meant all males not just Sivaoan ones. When the waiter came over, and after Summer Mist ordered, he ordered two steaks, bloody rare and a glass of milk
After the waiter left, she added "Until today, that is"
He turned a glance back at her, looking a bit confused and curious "Until today"? he asks, repeating her addition

Disappointment stabbed through him and his whiskers dropped momentarily. She doesnt think he is less disirable. She thinks that he is not disirable at all. It seemed to be the way of it with females these days "I see" he simply said
The waiter brought them their meals and he heard her say "I wonder if I'll ever get use to eating with these tools" as she picked up her cutting utensil and cut into her steak
"I won't" he said, then using his own claws, he cut the steak and began eating

Fetch Storm's ears shot back, his eyes lifting to look at her. At first, he thought she was pulling his tail but ater a moment, decided that she was not "You are the first. I am pleased that you would find me desirable"
She took a bite of her steak as he took another of his "Not as good as catching the meat"
"No, not as satisfying either, but it is a meal"

"You are the first since my inteneded mate, Left Ear, died. I have not been with or found another female since then"
He had found other females before but they only wished to be friends with him, which he understood
