Buford makes his way to lounge and sees TailKinker head to the Restaurant his Tail wags as he walks apast the lounge

As she was making her way down the hall to the party that she heard about, she passed the Lounge, where the males where having their own get together. As she approached the lounge she picked up the most terrible smell her nose had encountered so far since she had left her homeworld of Sivao. Passing the lounge the pungent aroma was at it's worse and she noted that's where the source of the smell is located. She covered her nose and let out a small hiss and picked up her pace a little to escape the smell and was greatful tht she was not going in that party and she hoped that smell was not at the female get together
As she was about to enter the Restaurant, the terrible aroma was nearly gone and she shook her head, wondering what the males could be doing. Then she shook her head, thinking she didnt want to know. Her ears picked up a voice, calling out her name. She turned, to see what looked to be a long eared canine individual approaching. She remembered seeing him briefly on the Terrasect before she was transfered. She noted the "lashing" tail of his and she tensed, getting into a defensive position and her ears tilted forward, curious as to know how this "person" knew her name
"Do I know you and why are you angry with me? I have done nothing to you"
She waited for a response

as he approaches Tailkinker he sees he take a defense stances and ask him "Do I know you and why are you angry with me? I have done nothing to you"
Buford looks at her "No I'm not angry with y'all, My tail wagging is a sign of happiness I'm happy to see y'all" he replies "We meet briefly on the Terrasect I am Buford B Hound but Please call me Buford"
As He looks at her he says "I thought I would say Howdy I was hoping to have gotten to know y'all but y'all were Transfered" he said

She merely blinked as he stated that he was happy instead of angry. She then relaxed out of her defensive stance and the fur on her shoulder rippled, as if she shrugged her shoulder
"These things happen, Buford, as I have learned when I joined this fleet. Sometimes they can't make up their minds where you are needed most". She looped her tail slightly in humor "It is good to meet you, Buford. Is that all you wished to do is just to say "howdy" or is there more you wish to say?"
She though it was rather strange just to stop someone and just say hello without saying more, epcially voice what was on your mind. Her ears remained in their forward psoition, waiting for his response

Buford tilts his head a little when she asked if their was more he wanted to say, Knowing it may be along time before their in the same area again
"After the Parties are over, would you have dinner with me?" He asks her "y'all look very beautiful" he says about her outfit

Her ears flicked back in surprise and she blinked at the canine officer, as he caught her completely off guard, which is rarely done "You think.. you think I'm beautiful?!" Involuntarily, she raised her right hand to cover the black "smudge" of fur running along her nose, a sivaoan sign of shyness or embarrassment
It took her a couple seconds to recover and her arm dropped and she looked him square in the eyes "But you are canine and I am feline in nature. I have heard that canines and felines are exact opposities, especially in terran culture. I have never heard of the idea of canines and felines getting together"
Granted, this is the first time that she's heard of the idea, and even though he is a canine, she thought he was rather nice. She also still felt somewhat surprised by the whole idea and his approaching her to ask

Buford sees her hand go up to her nose to cover the smudge she asks Buford you think I''m Beautiful
Her hand lowers as she says ""But you are canine and I am feline in nature. I have heard that canines and felines are exact opposites, especially in Terran culture. I have never heard of the idea of canines and felines getting together"
Buford sense he caught her off guard, and she is confused and surprised by him his tail wags
"You are very beautiful, from your Silver-grey fur the black smudge on nose the Orange tip of your tail to your beautiful Hazel Green eyes" Buford says "Yes I am Canine Y'all Feline and were not that different" he says
"Terran's seem to think we are just common Dogs and Cats but we are not Canines and Felines they no" he says looking in her eyes
"If it make y'all fell better I can chase y'all down the corridor" he smiles some as his tail wags faster
"Their is nothing wrong as I see it us getting together in anyform we like" Buford says as he smiles at her, in his mind he hopes they become more than Friends, but Friends is the first step

Her tail spiraled into a helix at Buford's compliments, telling her that "You are very beautiful, from your Silver-grey fur, the black smudge on nose, the Orange tip of your tail to your beautiful Hazel-Green eyes"
She then nodded, her whiskers quivering thoughtfully as he said "Terran's seem to think we are just common Dogs and Cats but we are not Canines and Felines they know"
She spoke up, "I thnk you for your complments, Buford. They are kind and make me feel good to hear them and yes, Humans tend to think we are average terran cats and dogs, like they are the only intelligent creatures in the quadrant. They are very wrong and very narrow-minded to think in susch a manner"
She listened as he went on and suggested if it made her feel any better, he can chase her down the hall. She shook her head "I do not see the point in that as it seems rather silly and childish to do"
Her ears pitched forward again as he said "There's nothing wrong, as I see it, with us getting together in anyform we like" She sensed that this undicated he hoped this encounter would blossom into more then just friendship and her mind wrapped around that idea and then stored it to think about later. "I see nothing wrong with it either as it would only be our oncern with what we do with the time that we have together. I agree to have dinner with you after the party is over"
She then had a question about the party and she voiced it "Speaking of the party, do you know what it is were are celebrating. I have never been to one of these gatherings?"
She then remembered the awful smell coming from the males side "I would warn you not to go to the male party. Whatever it is they are doing, it smells worse then anything I can imagine" her whiskers twitched in annoyance having to smell and endure such an awful smell

As Tailkinker think him for his complements he tail wags, while he listens Buford nods in agreement wither he assessment of humans and chasing her would be childish thou Buford thought quite fun thou
His ears pick up when when agreed to have dinner with him, and her agreeing its no ones business but theirs
the Talikinker said "Speaking of the party, do you know what it is were are celebrating. I have never been to one of these gatherings?" Buford smiled "The Lady is Bonding her Bo" Buford then rephrases it "She is getting married the Party is for all the females to wish her, the best in her marriage"
Then Tailkinker says "I would warn you not to go to the male party. Whatever it is they are doing, it smells worse then anything I can imagine" Buford Smiles "the Male party is for the Groom and all the males wish him the best, that smell is all the Alcoholic I am use to the smell" he says

She nods as Buford explains the meaning of the two parties. She hadn't heard the espression "bonding with her bo" before but she mananged to get the meaning of what it meant
"That is very kind of them to do. I am guessing this is a traditional thing to do"
She then makes a sound of disgust as Buford explains the awful smell is something called alcohol and that he is used to the smell
"I am glad that you are used to such an awful smell. I doubt I can grow accustomed to it. It will kill my nose first. I think I shall go now and cpmpliment the getting "married" and wish them happiness. i shall see you later then?"

Buford nods "I reckon it is tradition for them" Buford nods as TailKinker says she could never use to that smell She then excuses her self to pay her respects to the bride "I will see y'all later" Buford says as he watches her enter the Restaurant, he then turns and heads back to the lounge

She hadn't stepped into the eating place just yet but she did watch as Buford turned and went back down the hall to where the males were gathered and drinking that stuff that smells so terrible. She shook her head then turned to enter the restaurant.
Entering, her nose was again assulted by a smell, this one more pleasant then the one coming from down the hall. Her ears flicked back and her tail stiffened in surprise, amazed by all the local color and how wonderful the flowers smelled "This is very beautiful" She commented "much more pleasant for a gathering"
Her eyes then scanned the room at who was already there. First thing she noticed was another Sivaoan, one she didn't recognize. She was inwardly glad that she wasnt the only Sivaoan that decided to walk the path of the stars. She then walked over to greet the group of females that spoke among themselves "I come to bring good wishes to the bride to be. May your path always be smooth and your tent filled with happiness"

Kiele saw the second Sivaoan approach and stepped back to allow her room to join the group.
She smiled a welcome."I'm Kiele. This is Nomine, the bride to be" She'd let the other's introduce themselves also. "Thank you for coming. I'm afraid I wasn't able to provide for the needs of every potential guest and there is no live prey available but there are refreshments and tea if you'd like."

She spiraled her tail into a helix as one of the females looped her own tail ( she smiled ) and spoke to her, introducing herself as Keile and the female next to her as Nomine, the bride to be.
Her ears perked up when the female said her name is Kiele, she head that name before. She looked to Nomine, before speaking to Kiele "I wish you much happiness, a smooth path together and a healthy litter"
She turned back to Keile as she spoke of not having any live prey available and spiraled her tail into a tighter helix "You are funny, Kiele. I can assure you I am not disappointed in the lack of live prey as you say. We Sivaoans can eat other foods besides live or freshly killed prey" She glanced at the other female Sivaoan, then turned back to Keile "I have heard of you, Keile, from my brother, Fetch Storm To~Vensre. He says that you are a good officer and he likes you, even though it is hard for him to express how he feels"

Standing with the other females, talking the inconsequentials of small talk, she sees heads turn to observe a new comer. She turns to look as well. Smiling a little as she is given the blessing, she stops to translate the phrasing. Hoping she's gotten it correct, "Thank you very much. And, I am certain that when the children come in their time, they will be healthy."
She then turns to Kiele, "And, all this talk of tea, I'm beginning to relize I'm very dry. Where might that tea be?"
