Grunting in pain, he accepts the hug with as much dignity as he can, and looks back at Ava, his eyes blood shot, and crest hidden in his head feathers.

"Thank you." He nods with a little dignaty, and attempts to stand bipedaly but with a lurch, gratefully drops back to quadroped, and spladdles off, eventually turning down a corrodor, and into a room. Not even caring if it's his, he sprawls accross the hand made, purple coverlet on the bed. Attempting to roll over onto his side, and frogging his legs to ease the pressure, he drops his beak onto the bed, and drops back into a sound sleep.

He hears her snorts at his remark, he then notices the cadet standing nearby at ridgid attention. The cadet snapped her salute and spoke. He nods when the Cadet acknowledges him.

He then sees the shock,on Laren's face as she then gave the cadet a blank stare.

"I am sorry Cadet Watters, but I am afraid that I am no hero to worship. By the Prophets I wish I were, but I do not wish you to think of me as something I am not." Laren said
as he sat their listing.

Turning back to Charlie, "If this is what I am to face, I'm not sure I CAN go back to the Academy!" He starts to say something when she gets up abruptly, and flees the room, heading toward her quarters in complete dissaray.

Charlie looks at the Cadet, with a look of deep passion and caring in his eyes "Excuse me Cadet he looks the way Laren went But I must go" he gets up fast and heads after Laren.

Arriving at her quarters he rings the chime and waits

Justine took off after Charlie but instead of running with him, she stopped outside the door to listen. She could just hear muffled footsteps down the left hand corridor. Charlie had taken the right. She smiled and started to run again.

lumbering down the hallway taking his sweet time literally consuming the entire hallway walking slow hands reaching out to stop the commendant before she ran into him and bounced off . When do we resume our training? on his face there were several new scars and lines dotting his fur and a scorchedoutline of a single claw mark an obvious tattoo in tribal printing. Rounding a corner, eyes wide, Justine skidded to a halt at the sight of the Kilrathi in the hallway. He barely fit in it, in fact. He'd reached out to stop the Commandant before she'd run into him. Justine held back and caught her breath while she watched the two of them.

tilts his head needlessly against the top of the deck strut narrowly ducking his eyes under the framework of the structure. His tail twirling comically curling around the rafter edge looking out to the one he sensed approaching " slow down dont peddle your feet soo quickly take time with your steppings lest you trip over your own boot laces" pointing down returning his attention to Laren.

She followed Tsher and Ava down the corridor, listening as they spoke. When Ava reached in to hug Tsher, she held back, knowing he is in pain and not feeling up to par "Hope you feel better, sir" She tossed at him as he walked down the corridor and out of sight

Hearing running footsteps, she turned in time to see Laren running down the corridor, away from her. A moment later, Charlie joined in the pursuit, followed by a female cadet she's never saw before. She placed her hands on her hips and raised an inquisitive brow, then turned to Ava "Is there a fire somewhere or did the free all you can eat buffet just open up?" She giggled with obvious humor

She then turned and started walking towards her own quarters, thinking of returning to her twins. Seeing Echan coming down the hall, she was forced to step into an adjoining hallway to avoid being stepped on. Once he passed, she continued on her way

She just put Anara and Leeta, her twins, down for a nap and then went into the other room. She had been stalling to call Clyde, the man in her life, that the twins were born, but they were not his. She let her hormones get the best of her caused by a simple flight to chart territory on an unknown planet. SHe thouroughly enjoyed the flight, in more ways then one. She ended up sleeping with one of the senior officers of the ship and ended up pregnant by him. It was also the time she met Clyde GreatHouse and they had hit it off. They started an intimate relationship, not knowing that she was already pregnant. By the time she found out, it was too late. Now she had to tell Clyde but procrastinated. Now the twins were three months old and she still hadn't told him. She was afraid. She knew only one person that she can confide in, that could calm her fears. She tapped her comm badge "Ava, this is Yuna. Are you busy? Can you come to my quarters?"

Her Com goes off she hears Yuna ask her to come to her quarters, tapping her Com "On my way Sis" she heads to Yuna's quarters abound arriving she knocks figureing the twins are down for a nap

She heard Ava's response that she was on her way. That made her feel better, for a moment. She started pacing the floor, chewing her lip. She was that way when she heard the knock. She looked up expectantly "Enter" she called out

She enters the room and see the look on Yuna's face, and walked up to her taking her hands "You OK Sis?"

She stopped pacing, but still chewed her lower lip as Ava walked in. She squeezed Ava's hand when she reached for it. "I'm fine, sis. Just worried. I still need to tell Clyde that the twins have been brought into this world but I am scared of what he will say when the twins aren't his."

"I know Clyde. he's Cuz and like an Uncle to me, he will be hurt but he will not be mad"

"That's just it, sis. I know he will be hurt and I don't want to do that, to see that look on his face, but I know he'll want to know how the twins are."

"Yes he will, and I know you know he needs to hear it from you" She smiles at Yuna

"I can stand by your side or out of sight as you tell him"

"I love him so much, I just don't want to hurt the big lug" She smiled back at Ava "That would be great. I always feel more comfortable with you around, sis"

Yuna Wynn: She smiles a bit wider "Yes, we have and through our experiences we have grown quite close" She paused a moment before she would turn and walk over to the monitor in the corner "I think I will call him now. I've.. stalled long enough." She then sent a hail to the Ayres, more specifically to Clyde's quarters, hoping he's in

Ava nods and steps to the side so Clyde can't see her

She expelled a nervous breath, waiting for the call to go through

He was sitting in his quarters when he got a personal call, he answered think it might be Charlie or his Mother his eyes light up when he sees Yuna "Honey how are you doing?"

She smiles seeing Clyde its been awhile sense she saw him

She brightened considerably, smiling as Clyde's handsome rugged face finally came up on screen "I am doing great now that I see your handsome face. How are you doing, my big lovable bear?"

"I am doing great Dear I'm a Mcapt now" he smiles, talking to Yuna he wasn't worried about butting on a shirt, as sat in front of the monitor

She gave a delighted squeak "Oh, that's wonderful. I know you deserved it. You're also a father now" more like a step-father, she thought then saw him buttoning his shirt. He would see that she wasn't wearing her shirt, as she had nursed the twins before laying them down

"The twins were born, when? I wish I could have been their! How are they doing?"

"Yes, the twins were born about 3 months ago. I wish you could have been there as well, love. Right now they're sleeping, since I had just fed then and put them down for a nap" She was still hesitating a little about telling him

He could tell something was on her mind "Theirs Something on your mind Dear what is?"

Her smile faded a bit. The moment of truth Clyde, sweetheart, love. I hope you will forgive me for what I have to confess to you. The twins.. aren't yours. Biologically. When we agreed to go out together, I didn't realize I was already pregnant by someone else. I can assure you the encounter meant nothing, not like our encounter" She reached for Ava's hand, off screen, knowing pretty much what his reaction will be

When he heard this he looked like his life sucked from, he started at the monitor "their not mine?" he quietly said

She takes Yuna's hand and gives it a supportive squeeze

She saw the look on his face ad she nearly burst into tears "I'm so sorry, Clyde. I couldn't help myself. I was so overwhelmed. I never should have taken that flight with T'sher." Ava's presence kept her from falling apart.. barely

He gather his composer "I understand Dear, I may not be their Father but I will be a dad to them"

A couple tears did fall down her cheeks, as she was fighting for composure. His next words lifted some of the weight from her shoulders "Oh Clyde, you will be there father, as far as I'm concerned. You may not have sired them, but you are their father. I swear, I want to make this up to you" She squeezed Ava's hand, fighting a smile that wants to burst

She keeps holding onto Yuna's hand

He smiles at Yuna now noticing she had no shirt on "We will have are own children" he shakes his head "As soon as we can get together. I'm not sure how long we'll be out here"

She lost the fight and she smiled ear to ear again, like she did when Clyde first appeared "That would be wonderful. I want to carry your child. No matter how long it takes, I will be here waiting for you when your ship does arrive"

Smiles "I miss you so much, the feel of you in my arms, the Warmth of.." he sees something out of the coroner of his eyes "Come on out Ava"

She Steps out smiling still holding Yuna's hand "Hiya, Clyde"

He laughs "I should have know you were their you two are like salt and pepper"

She was about to respond when he heard Clyde tell Ava to come out. She giggles, looking at Ava as she revealed herself "She is my moral support" She told Clyde, still holding Ava's hand

He smiles big "Ava has way of being a rock for people, her name may not be Great house but she acts like one"

Smiling "We're Cousins. I am family"

She's always been able to support me, though my emotional up and downs every since we met in the academy and became friends"

"I'm glad I know she was with you when you gave birth, she be their for her friend"

"Not a friend, she's more. she is like a Sister to me, I was their for support same as she has been for me"

smiling at both of them "Well she will be your Sister when we get married"

She continues to smile "We've been there to support each other and we are sisters, blood sisters" She held up the arms that held their mark, looking at Clyde "I'd like her to be my maid of honor when we finally do marry"

"Of course she can be" he sees the mark on their arms "I see this"

Smiling at Yuna then hugging her "Of course I will be"

She hugged Ava back, turning to Clyde "Hurry back, darling. I want to see you soon. Do you have any idea who you want as a best man?

"Yes I do I'll have two the Doc on my ship and Aidan their my best friends on the ship"

She looked thoughtful "Aidan? I had heard a man came from the past. Is that him?" She looked at Ava and whispered "I hear he;s pretty cute"

"That's him he married Cindy, our CNS" he smiles

She looked back to Clyde surprised "He married already? Wow. lucky girl" She giggles

"Yes she is, I sort of guided them together" he chuckles

"Were you thinking I could hook up with him Sis" she giggles

She looked amused "That's very sweet of you, darling" She looked to Ava with a knowing grin "Could be"

"I got get on shift Dear I'll talk to you later, bye Ava" He smiles "Take care of her for me"

"Bye Clyde I always take care of her, she's my Sis"

Back to Clyde "Ok, sweetheart. I'll see you later. Stay safe and I'll be sure to take care of Ava for you." She smiles as the screen went dark

When the screen goes dark, she smiles at Yuna "See I knew you were worrying over nothing" she walks up and gives Yuna a hug"he's just like I remember him, under all that muscle hes just a big teddy bare" she giggles, she then looks at Yuna "I think I'll go to the lounge" she says

As the screen went dark, she heard Ava tell her that she had been worrying over nothing. She gave Ava a smile "Yeah, Ava. I know, but it's been my knowledge that most men are not that understanding that you don't give birth to a child or children that they sire" She hugged Ava back as she got up. Yuna then giggled a bit as Ava described her cousin and her fiance "Trust me, Ava sis, I know Clyde is a big teddy bear, has lots of soft sides, and a lot of hard ones too" She leaned back in her chair and ended up leaning too far. Forgetting the chair didn't have a back, With a surprised yelp, she tumbled from the chair and slipped to the floor. She couldn't help but laugh, especially seeing the look on Ava's face. After a few moments, she sobered and picked herself up off the floor "The Lounge?" She thought for a moment "You go ahead, sis. I want to spend some time with the twins when they wake up."

Seeing Yuna lean back in her chair As Ava smiles at her comment then with a surprised and yelp Yuna fell to the floor, Ava started to help Yuna up when Yuna started laughing, causing her to start laughing as well, as Yuna picked herself up off the floor "I'll visit with the Twins later" she says wanting to give Yuna so alone time with the twins, she turns then she leaves

She sees People rushing around, stopping a crewmen "What's up?" she asks the crewmen look at Ava "The Tarawa is docking" he says then hurries on.

Ava's eyes light up and she runs to the lounge knowing David that's the first place he will go when he disembarks the ship

She runs into the lounge out of breath "Rootbeer" she grabs her drink and sits at a table near the VP and looks out at the Tarawa
