Hearing the familiar voice from an almost distant past, she turned around, her expression almost unguarded for once.
"Hello, yourself. I do not mind at all. I'm feeling a little disconnected at the moment."
She smiled weakly, her overall bearing one of a lost soul wandering alone and looking for a way to reconnect.

He sits down by here and sees her smile weakly "If you want to talk, I'm here for you" he puts his hand on hers
He didn't want to push her into talking but it hurt him to see her this way. He set their looking at her hoping he could help

After leaving the Washington, she briefly wondered if she would be back as she made her way to the Star Base Quarter Master's office. She needed a place to sleep, her nerves were frazzled and she barely had enough strength to push the stroller that her twins were in
Getting her assigned quarters, she went straight there and after making her the twins were settled, she layed down and fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow
She was asleep for a good 12 hours before she got up and tended to the twins. She layed back down and went to sleep for a good 6 hours more before she finally felt rested enough to get up and rejoin the universe
Leaving her quarters, she left the twins into the care of the Star Base Day care center. She walked around a bit and bought some things she needed for the twins and bought some stuff for herself
After a couple hours of shopping, she went to the lounge to get something to eat. Entering, she spotted Charlie and moved over to go say hi. She only took a couple steps before realizing the Commandante is also with him. She casually changed her direction and walked to the replicator and ordered some Bajoran shrimp with some Bajoran Ale

"It would be nice to talk for a while. Though, quite honestly, I do not know what to talk about. I left here with such expectations, and then I arrive not knowing what's happened, except that I'm called before a judicial committee for things my Cadets did, which I was not aware of.
"Among which, it seems saving my life was just a small part. I didn't realize the tradition of such insubordination ran so deeply in the NAME!" She practically wailed the last word, then turned back to the table, staring desolately at her hands.
"Now, what am I to do? i'm almost in complete disgrace with out having done anything, except survive by the quick minds of those same cadets who've put me in this kettle."

After being released from the hearing, and having had his wings clipped, his ears seared, and his talons pulled, he feels lucky to have escaped alive. Though, in the case they had dealt with on this tour, he feels more than a little set upon. After all, if they'd returned to base, as the hearing committee felt they should have, then this virus would still be running rampant.
If it hadn't been for Ava, Laurel, and Echan, he wasn't sure he would have survived himself. Though, dying for the survival of his crew would have been a most glorious way of leaving this existance. However, it seemed that he still had work to do on this plane, and he figured he'd better find out what it was pretty fast.
With the black marks he was holding on his records, and the denial of this final year's credits, he knew the likely hood of his ever comanding a ship were slim. At least while he was still young enough to withstand the stress of it without molting himself bald.
He made his sluggish way toward the station quartermaster intending to secure quarters for himself, but decided along the way that the distance was too far to travel at the moment. Instead, he curled up in a convenient corner, where there were not drafts, and fell asleep in the corrodor. Unmindful of the fact he was blocking the door to the restraunt.

Takes her Hands "Thous Cadets would never be insubordinate to y'all. They had a reason for what they did mind y'all they may have done it in the wrong way" he kisses her hand "But they saved y'all and as many as they could, I don't know what happened out their he pauses "I'm sure the judicial committee as y'all keep quite on the details?"

She turned a glance to see ho came in and saw that it was Ava. She smiled at herself at seeing her. She looked around spotted Charlie. He was a bit hard to miss
She took a bite of her shrimp as Ava headed for the replicator to order some food. She remembered how upset with her Ava was when she found out that She had been in contact with a Federation vessel and she had gave them their coordinates
She was scared. Scared for the crew, scared they would not survive and most of all, she was scared for her twins. She couldn't let them die, even though they weren't Clyde's
She sighed a bit, She still needed to tell him that the twins were born. She was still sure that he will be furious that he isn't the biological father of her twins. Will he still want to be with her, knowing that he didn't sire them? She hoped so, but she had her doubts
She was also sure that she would be in major trouble at the board of inquiries, if they called upon her. Her role in keeping the virus quiet and the sickness of the Officers. She knew she would be in major trouble for revealing their position
Laren's wail brought her out of her thoughts and she looked over, seeing Charlie trying to comfort her as best he could
Looking over towards Ava, she noticed that Ava had spotted her and is waving her over. She got her ale and shrimp and moved over to Ava's table "Hi sis. how are you feeling?"

I'm doing good Sis just bit tired and nervous about the upcoming board of inquiries
She takes bite then lowers he voice to a whisper If things get hot during the board of inquiries you were following orders
She looks over at Charlie and Laren and smiles He cares a great deal for Laren she wipes her eyes the weight she carried during the last hafe of the mission still shows heavy on her face
Sis I'm sorry I got mad, I understand why you called them, I was just so worried it would spread, but it worked out she takes Yuna's hand How are you and the Twins? she asks still whispering

"Yes, me too" She says about being nervous about the Board of Inquiries
She was about to take another bite of shrimp when she heard Ava whisper that she was just following orders, Her mouth dropped open, even though she had been following orders up until the point she responded to the other ship "That would get you in trouble, Ava, and I couldn't do that to you" She whispered back
She glanced over to Laren and Charlie "Yes, he cares a great deal for her. I heard that he's been waiting for her for months but I fear his brother will be quite pissed at me when he finds out the twins aren't his"
She looked back to Ava "You've a right to be angry, I disobeyed orders and could have infected another ship with this virus. I just couldn' ley my twins die. I deserve to be reprimanded by my lack of thinking"

She simply nodded. That is one thing she is worried about. How clyde will react to her news.
"Yes, I acted like a mother and that's the problem. I didn't act like a Star Fleet Officer. I let my personal feelings cloud my judgement" She blinked as she was hugged "Yes, we are best friends and sisters but I need to remember that you're also my commanding officer" She blinked again "Sis, what are you planning? I know that tone that you're about to do something foolish"?
She looked at her skeptically when she said she needed sleep "You go ahead, i'm going to sit here and finish my meal" She said as Ava headed for the reclamator

She looks back to Yuna after she puts her plates in the reclaimer Me Sis never she smiles as she starts to exit the restaurant.
Still looking at Yuna, Ava trips over someone hitting the corridor hard and sliding into the corridor wall on the other side
Hey! You are So Dead! She sees T'sher T'Sher! she yells as she craws to him T'Sher! T'Sher! she calls out as she places a hand on him

"I'd be glad to talk about it, if I knew exactly what happened. All I know is that the ship was sent out in responce to a minor incident. It was supposed to be a quick responce, then back. Then, if all was set, and we didn't have any more Cadets transfered to us, we were to leave for a routine patrol of the Beta Quadrant. But, something went wrong.
"I remember that we were attacked, and that the hull was breached. I vaguely remember something about some odd canister being in the ship, but much past that was hazy. I've been told by medical that the memory loss is permanent, and was caused by the virus the Cadets had to face on their own.
"I've also heard that there were several casualties, and what crew survived was because of the quick thinking of at least 2 of the cadets in getting us into stasis. Even if it was a little like closing the station after most of the air had escaped.
"Never have I been in such a position. Even in the rebellion, I never had to fight for my life against something I couldn't see. And, I was in several positions that were much more uncomfortable. At least that I can remember. Something about this last internment sparks a memory from when I was much younger, but I cannot place an exact memory to the feeling. It was frightening, yet comforting some how. As if I were connected to everything, yet was loosing my identity."
She looks at Charlie, "Am I still me? I don't feel like it. I barely remember the way things were before the ship left. And, after? Things are even hazier. "
She looks around, and spots Ava and Yuna whispering in a corner, as far away as possible, "And, I surely don't remember anyone being that conspicuous in their skulking."
She smiles weakly, still not responding as full of vim and vigor as she'd been prior to the trials she'd been through. "Though, at least what ever it was that got to me, and took poor Ikarus, has been removed. Though, medical did mention some side effects that I'm not sure I'm going to like in the long run. I'm old, but not that anchient."
She once more drops her head, almost banging it on the table, expecting to catch it in her hands that were still in Charlie's posession.

Too tired to even respond as someone trips over him, he tucks his head deeper into the bundle that was his body and wings, attempting to get comfortable again. The plasteel floor was becoming harder with ever breath he took. Hearing someone yelling his name, he finally begins to stir.
As his legs twitch, and his wing slides off of his eye to reveal it barely uncovered by the lid and nictating membrane, he mutters something in his native tongue, sounding more like a series of whistles and glottal stops.
His crest flattens a little, then tiredly begins to stand up. Finally, sense emerges into his face as his nostrils flare a little. Muzzily he manages to mutter in common "A-a-va?"
