He listens to Laren I have heard that as well, through the grapevine, but haven't talked to Ava yet
He looks at her when she says "Am I still me? I don't feel like it. I barely remember the way things were before the ship left. And, after? Things are even hazier. "
Yes you are still you, before you left we were becoming friends he then smiles I think were moving to more than friends, I do care so much for you, after the ship left you would need the grew to fill you in on that
He sees Laren looking around and he spots Ava and Yuna as well I don't know if its skulking not Ava's style if anything she telling Yuna what to say at the board of inquiries, Knowing Ava she planing something she will not let the crew fall
Laren then says "Though, at least what ever it was that got to me, and took poor Ikarus, has been removed. Though, medical did mention some side effects that I'm not sure I'm going to like in the long run. I'm old, but not that anchient."
Your not old. Not to me anyways. I have friends in Medical they said side effects will be many, but you may not even have any
She drops her head, and almost bangs it on the table Careful their befor you bang that pretty head he smiles as he lets go of her hands

T'sher's legs twitch, and his wing slid off of his eye to reveal it barely uncovered by the lid and nictating membrane, he mutters something in his native tongue, Ava had no idea what he said.
He then tiredly begins to stand up. Finally, his nostrils flare a little. Muzzily he manages to mutter in common "A-a-va?"
Do I smell that Bad T'Sher she giggles We got get you to your quarters, you know no sleeping in front of the restaurant
She smiles at him Glad your not hurt Sir, I tripped over you she giggles and touches her nose What if I would have smashed my cute nose

"Snub nose?" He mumbles sleepily, "Now why woul' you wanna do tha'?" His voice more a series of whistles and clacks, but the UT picking up the meaning.
Shakin his head a little, as it finally emerges completely out from under his wing, a few downy feathers coming loose.
"Where's my nest? This is hard."
He staggers to his feet quadroped, and stands swaying, his wings drooping to the floor, and the primaries dragging along. "Got quarters, i think. Don't remember. Don't remmber much."
He raises his head, heavily, and looks around blankly. "Don't know where I was going."
He takes a staggered step, and almsot falls, then deicides to sit, and wait for his head to clear a little more. "No' gonna give Red Squad a good image." His words starting to clear a little.

Smiling a little, still a ghostly reflection of what it had been, she looks up, "I do remember that we had been getting to know one another. By the prophets, I hope these gaps in my memory are filled in." Her words were full of the longing she felt for the missing time.
"It is always good to have friends. Always good to have someone to talk to, and to lean on when you have been lost. Perhaps now, I can be found?"
She watches the cadets break up and leave. "Though it also seems that this time was good for something besides trouble. I've rarely seen cadets with such strong bonds of friendship."
She forces herself to sit up straight again, and looks at Charlie, her eyes warming at the sight of his person, and showing the appreciation of him for his looks. "Though, I can say, I'd have avoided you when I was younger in my Cell. You are a nice distraction."

He looked at her Smiling a little, but it was nothing like she use to, she then looks up, "I do remember that we had been getting to know one another. By the prophets, I hope these gaps in my memory are filled in." His heartache for the longing she felt for the missing time.
"It is always good to have friends. Always good to have someone to talk to, and to lean on when you have been lost. Perhaps now, I can be found?" she said, he took her hand "I will help find you" he says softly
He saw her looking at the Cadets, then she said "Though it also seems that this time was good for something besides trouble. I've rarely seen cadets with such strong bonds of friendship."
"Yes that has way of building close friendships" he looks over at them breaking up
She forces herself to sit up straight again,he let go of her hand, then she looks at him, he could seem her eyes warming at the sight of him, and showing the appreciation of him for his looks. "Though, I can say, I'd have avoided you when I was younger in my Cell. You are a nice distraction."
He smiles and brushes her hair to the side "I'd like to be more but that will come in time" he looks in her eyes "God I have missed you"

Yuna opted to finish her meal when Ava left and now that she has, she decides to leave herself and leave Charlie and Laren to themselves
She got up and quietly out her ysed dishes in the replicator and quiety exited
She turned to corner and she stopped short whens he seen Ava and T'sher sitting on the ground. She walked over and knelt down a few feet away. She smiled at T'sher "It's good to see you up and around, sir. You gave us quite a scare"
Unannounced, the last memory of seeing T'sher healthy came to mind. It was when she took the flight with him, trying to survey a planet. She blushed briefly as she remembered how the experiance had left her. She pushed the memories away

Hearing everyone's concern, his mind beginnign to work a little more coherently, he looks at the two puzzled.
"Why would I have given you a scare?" He again shakes his head, "I did nothing but sleep for the last.." his voice trails off, as the implications set in.

Her smile faltered a bit as she glanced at Ava a few moments before turning back to T'sher
"Sir, I don't know if you know this but you came down with the virus and on the verge of dying. I believe with Echan's quick thinking, he put you in cryogenic suspension until we could find the cure"
She paused for his reaction

Staggering to his feet, every movement screaming total exhaustion, even though, he had not done any strenuous excercise that he could remember in the last several days (unless you count answering the board of inquiries for his trial!) he attempts to stand up, and presnet a proud appearance. However, his best effort was to look like a laundered plush toy.
"I remember the virus, but I did not come down sick with it. I was only hungry from an inadequate diet, and slightly malnourished. That is why I elected to sleep a little long last..." he stops to think, his eyes glazing a little, "couple of days, rather than exhaust myself. I presume, since we are back at starbase, and have to answer to the questioners that Echan did return with the food he was sent to procure, and we did conquore the virus."
He doggedly shakes his head, and begins to walk down the hall, his stride revealing more of his physical health than his words. The spladdle legged walk revealing he had not been "cured" of the side effects of the virus.
"I will speak no more of this. Unless I must to the Elders. By Kricksha! I am sore. I must have slept in a very uncomfortable position. I hope that my next posting is on a larger ship!"

"What is there to miss? I'm a bitter old Bajoran! By the Prophets, I'd say you would be wise to just remain friends. I have nothing left to live for, and no family to hold me here. Why would anyone as young and full of life wish to tie themselves down to me? All I am is death. I either bring it with me, or I court it actively in my duties!" He eyes once more shutter to a deadness as the words she just spoke penetrate her own murcurial mind. How true they were to her, yet, there was something. Something tugging her to stay yet a little longer. She looks at Charlie, "Why? Why must I struggle, and survive when so many others, so many more worth others, not do so? Why would someone as clen as yourself choose to bind himself to these hands of gore? To willingly take on part of the burden I carry?" She looks away from him, her eyes shuttering even more, becoming more dead. He bearing becoming a little more isolated. Muttering softly, almost to her self, barely audible above the murmer of the room around them, "Am I to find redemption ever?"

"What is there to miss about you? Your Charm your beauty, You are not a bitter old Bajoran!" he places his hand on her cheek and smiles
"I say I'm wise to try for you. nothing left to live for, I think you have allot to live for. I am not tyeing my self down? You are not death!" he softly says to her trying to comfort her, He could see she thought the words were true, but she wanted to stay
She then looks at him, "Why? Why must I struggle, and survive when so many others, so many more worth others, not do so? Why would someone as clean as yourself choose to bind himself to these hands of gore? To willingly take on part of the burden I carry?"
She then looked away from him. Muttering softly, almost to her self, barely audible above the murmer of the room around them, "Am I to find redemption ever?"
Charlie turns her head to looks at him, "You will find redemption, You struggle and survive because you are a survivor! I choose to take these hands" he takes both hands and kisses them "I choose to take on part or all your burdens you carry" he kisses her lips softly "Because I Love you" his eyes show a deep feeling he has for her

In transit and having a few hours to kill before her shuttle was leaving again, Justine had scanned the list of Starbase guests. She'd been almost giddy with joy at finding that Commandant Laren was here. The universe was definitely conspiring in her favor. Since she was a small child and had learned of her brother's ill-fated history with Red Squad, Justine had made it her goal to be accepted into Red Squad herself and right the injustices that had taken Tim from her and disgraced the squad.
After a few discreet inquires, Justine managed to locate the Commandant in the Lounge. She checked her appearance making sure it was inspection perfect. Laren was sitting with several others. She was engaged in conversation with another officer but it didn't appear private or exclusive. She walked over, stood at attention and performed a completely unnecessary salute. It wasn't meant as a formality, but instead done out of respect.
"Cadet Justine Watters, Ma'am. May I just say what an honor it is to meet you. I never expected..," She paused and blushing slightly turned to Greathouse. "My apologies, Sir. I didn't intend to ignore you." Then turning back to Laren with a wide smile. "I've wanted to meet you for so long."

She snorts at Charlie's remark, but before she can say anything else, she notices the cadet standing nearby at ridgid attention. As she opens her mouth to tell her "At ease", the cadet snapped her salute and spoke.
In shock, partly from what she knew had happened, and the disgrace she was currently in she gave the cadet a blank stare, her bearing asking questions, but none of them completely formed.
"I am sorry Cadet Watters, but I am afraid that I am no hero to worship. By the Prophets I wish I were, but I do not wish you to think of me as something I am not."
Turning back to Charlie, "If this is what I am to face, I'm not sure I CAN go back to the Academy!"
She gets up abruptly, and flees the room, heading towards her quarters in complete dissaray.
