See watched him walk out, and thought he's a right diddie at the moment. I'll have to check to see if hes hit his head as well. "No one has been burned, that I can assure you or I would have been called. Sorry for the interruption. I dun know this Anne, nor do I remember reading her medical file. But I will look into it."
"Aye, I've read your files and is this lighting to your liking. I can lower it slightly since the scans are lit. Is there anything you should tell that happened since your last physical?"
"And how is the symbiont? Any problems?"Eelennia wasn’t sure what she was hearing in her head. She knew not to ignore it regardless but she was glad that she told someone. She also found it odd that Chief MacAuley never heard of this person named Anne. ‘I would be great-full if you let me know of anything you find out of this person I mentioned. I’ll do the same at my end.’Eele lays back completely and answers the doctor. ‘Yes the light is fine, thank you.’ She thought of anything that was from her last physical. As she was about to respond she mentioned of her symbiont. Eele was taken back by it and wasn’t sure how to tell her. ‘My symbiont? I haven’t felt my symbiont ever since I was implanted. Every physical since now they have checked to see if it's alive. In ever report they tell me its fine and I still haven’t heard or felt it. I don’t even know its name, is that strange doctor? I find it very much so.’Eele expressed herself in a professional way but she felt that others ignored her. They hear her but do they really care as much as she did of others. She wasn’t implying anything of Colina it was more of it was like this before. She waited if Colina could tell her anything of her symbiont or if herself can tell her anything else. |

She listened as the scans began.
"You say you have never felt the symbiont, how odd. Your file says hes fit as a fiddle. Have ya heard his thoughts, or seen his memories? Had ya had any dreams that are odd, cause you have no reference for them?"
She keyed in a sequence to look at the symbiont closer. The scans were showing him to be fit. She shook her head and took the scan again. She got a thoughtful expression on her face.
"I wonder if your Betazoid half blocks this? I will need time to investigate this and of course I'll want to check on things on a regular basis. One more thing did you have the ceremony after the joining, in which you met the others that your symbiont was hosted by. I understand this is very important."

Eele listened to her tell her what she thought. The next idea was interesting she never have thought that might be an issue. As have there been any hybrids having a joining before? As for as Eelennia knew she was the only one. ‘Never thought of my Betazoid half blocking it. Would think I spend most of the time blocking the other thoughts around me then within me. I have tried to commune with it on occasion but I see and hear nothing.’ She listened to her mention of a ceremony. Eele was sad to say that this she had never experienced. ‘Between you and I, I was never meant to have this symbiont. My mother is in prison for what I have within me now. The Symbiosis Commission caught up with her and they let me go. I didn’t ask as to why I just left it alone. Maybe it would have helped me but I had no intention of becoming a freak show.’ |

Colina listened to her. "You've no intention of becoming a freak. Well that suits me fine, cause I'd not let my patient become one. From my limited knowledge it seems this ceremony is very important, and need to be done. I think it best if you consider this."
She took a third reading of the symbiont and the reading was the same. She thought it must be madding to have one and not experience what you should.
"While your so relaxed and your scans show that your relaxing more and more as you stay. Lets us try something. No one can see nor hear. I want you to open you mind to the symbiont only. Talk to him, show him you care and are concerned. Especially since you've never heard nor experienced him. If you want I'll leave the room for a few minutes lets say 5 mins. What do ya think?"

She took it, as she would tell a patient that this would be a good idea. ‘My only concern is that I wouldn't know how one would be. I lived for the most part on Betazed ’ More she thought about it started to excite her. The Doctor made another good suggestion and tries to connect with the symbiont. She never thought it wouldn’t work she would always try to think positive. Eele nods to Colina to give another try of communing with her small passenger. She started to block everything out and try to only hear hers and the symbiont. Eele heard nothing but she kept trying. Her eyes turn black and she felt nothing. Not even any motion within her to know if it was there. Eele felt disappointed that this time there was still nothing. She kept at it till MacAuley returned to her room. |

Immediately after leaving Lt Covous she went to recovery. Entering the room she looked at the feline wondering how a race like his could be so so exasperating. She walked over and turned the scans on again, this time focusing on any possible head trauma. Finding none she nodded to herself.
"Lt Grab Foot of ~Two Dawns, I'm gonna release you. I want you on light duty for the next day. Your shoulder while feeling better still requires some rest. Considering we have not left yet, this will not be difficult."
"Lt, I fail to understand why you acted as you did, barging into an active examination room. Surely you would enjoy privacy while being examined, and that needs to be extended to others as well. In the future be sure that its done."
She left recovery with the updated scans filed and a few personal notes on them. She would definitely need to check the cultural customs of his people. She left his room and while walking to the examination room she smelled smoke.
For the love of, what next? was all she thought.
She walked in the direction of where the smell was the strongest. She saw a woman standing there with a lit cigarette. She walked over and smiled. Hello, I'm the Chief Medical Officer, Doctor Colina MacAuley. And you might be?" She extended her hand. The smell of the cigarette assaulting her nostrils. She wondered how people tolerated that foul thing.

His head turned as he waited for the response from the bridge to see the Doctor MacAuley enter where he is "recovering" His tail twitched a couple times but then went still, and he gave no other indication of how he felt about this doctor. He admired her but she very annoying
As she reached over to grab something to examine his head, an ear twitched involuntarily as he said in a low tone "I can assure you, Doctor, My head is fine" He knew she wanted to see that for herself then saw her nod in approval as she found out he spoke the truth
As she started speaking about releasing him and that he should be on light duty to make sure his shoulder is well rested, his nose began twitching as he started smelling the most noxious odor, his ears tipping forward, wondering what it could be
He then re-focused on the doctor "I agree to be on "light duty" he put a slight emphasis on light duty but if the ship is put in danger, the "light duty" is over as I will go meet that threat and deal with it head on"
As For privacy, I know you humans desire pri va cy from time to time, especially when changing clothing or being examined by a doctor. Pri va cy is not a big issue on Eeiauo ( or Sivao ) On my home planet, we would be able to smell if one wished to be alone and we would stay clear. I will endeavor to think of others pri va cy in the future" He had trouble wrapping his tongue around the word to say the word privacy and he was sure the doctor noticed it
He waited for the doctor to procede out before him and as she did, he followed her out, noting the noxious smell was getting stronger as he went
As he came out into the main area of sickbay, he saw a female standing there inhaling on a lighted stick. Two things registered at the same time: 1. the lighted stick was the source of the noxious aroma and 2. The female was Ann
His ears flicked back in surprise and he came to a sudden halt. His tail stiffened a little too as he locked his eyes on Ann

As Ann turned and spoke to him, he got over his surprise at seeing her there in sickbay, then looped his tail tightly as she started talking about cooking "dog boy". He could tell that she was pulling both his and the doctor's tail
"The day any canine gets the best of me is the day I will need to retire. As far as cooking and eating him, I imagine it will be good going down but I am sure it will not be good on the stomach" He chuckle-hisses his humor as his tail is already tightly spiraled "Also, my shoulder has be adequately healed.." Before he went any further, he saw Ann step back, motion for some room, extend her armor and with her healing abilities, heal his shoulder better then it's ever been. He then rotated his shoulder a few times to test it "Thank you, Ann. If the was any injury left in the shoulder, it is gone now"
As she smiled and turned her attentions back to the doctor, he felt like he wanted to loop his tail around her waist but he thought it would not be such a good idea. Knowing Ann like he did, she would most likely yank his tail completely off. He then decided to wait until such a time when Ann would accept his tail going around her waist, if that time should ever come

She stood there, while Ann ignored her, in favor of LtJg Grab Foot Of~Two Dawns. Then as if this was not bad enough she used some sort of suit to "cure" LtJg Grab Foot Of~Two Dawns. After stinking up sickbay with a cigarette, if she chose to damage her health so be it. But do not drag the rest of us into it, well it will not be tolerated. Why the alarms for smoke did not go off was a surprise to her and engineering would have to attend to that. Finally, she asked for a hypo spray to be dispensed for her "personal use". She took a deep calming breath and looking at them both smiled.
While she waited for an acknowlegement she tapped her com badge, "Engineering this Doc MacAuley in sick bay. I need the smoke alarms to be checked immediately."
"Ann Knox, are you a member of the crew, or one of the civilians?"

Eele smelled smoke slowly creeping in her examination room. She felt that pain again in her gut ones more and it was unsettling. She thought to get up and call Colina but she didn’t want to yell out. She pulls her self up and puts on her outer jacket. She makes sure her outer skin is covered before exploring out in to normal light. Walking out she saw Colina and two new personnel that she hasn’t had the pleasure on meeting.
‘Do you smell that horrendous smell it sort of smells like smoke. ’ She walks over to Colina holding her stomach. Eele takes a good look at a cat man and a young lady. She takes surface scans of both minds and guessed their names. ‘Grab foot. Of Two. Dwans? and Anne Knox. Am I correct if not please excuse me.’ Eelennia gave a curious look at Anne more then Grab Foot of Two Dawns. They both were nice looking people but the woman had something familiar about her. Her mind was something she felt earlier or gotten many concern thoughts about.
Eele’s stomach felt like it had been kicked within. She wasn’t sure if it her symbiont or a reaction of the screaming man. Knowing that she never felt her symbiont before she assumed it was the terrible burning man. Eele kept holding the spot where the symbiont was rather then her temples. She guessed that this woman must be the Anne she been looking for. Thinking that if she asked her a question it wouldn’t hurt. ‘Do you know of anything of a burning man? He wouldn't look like any of our uniforms he was this tall and severely burned.’ Eelennia asking towards Anne and to Grab Foot of Two Dawns.

As he was talking with Ann, the Doctor and now some strange Alien being he'd never met, and happen to correctly guess his name, he recieved the call from the bridge. He listened to the message and his whiskers quivered in thought
"My thoughts are rather personal and I would rather not discuss them at this time" He quickly glanced at the three females that was around him, then added as an after-thought "or anytime.."
He returned his focus back to the three that was near him, leaving the link open should the one on the bridge respond.
He focused on Ann first, as she smiled at him again as he thanked her for fully healing his shoulder. He knew his shoulder was healed before Ann healed it but as a human once told him "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" He never understood that comment only that it basically meant don't complain when you are given a gift
He watches as Ann circled the doctor, as if checking her out then heard "She's charming" from Ann. He scoffed a bit, thinking that charming isnt a word he would use to describe the doctor
He turned when he heard footsteps approaching and he blinked at the new person that came out. He noted that she held her stomach like she was in pain. She glanced at Ann and then to him and he felt a slight tingle in his head as she briefly brushed his mind. His whiskers twitched in mild annoyance
"You are correct. My name is GrabFoot Of Two Dawns and I would appreciate it if you stayed out of my head"
As he grew up, his father told him that he was born with the ability to read people's minds and feel their emotions. Grabfoot had asked him how he was able to do this and his father told him he was not born an Eeiauoan but as a Betazoid and then went on to tell the story of how he became a Eeiauoan ( long story too )
Some years later, his father came home a changed man, literally. When he didn't recognize his own father, he was skeptical. When he told him that he returned to his Betazoid body, he was suprised and shocked and didn't believe him at first. GF gave him the sniff test and smelled that he spoke the truth. He asked him why he done this and he replied that a good friend told him that he should never be ashamed of who you are and that she liked him as a Betazoid better. It took some time for Grabfoot to accept that. His father had also said that he had retired from Starfleet and was home for good. His father had asked where his mother was and with ears and whiskers drooped, he told him that she was killed. She went out looking for tailkinkers ( a Sivaoan spice that some sivaoans brought with them when they journeyed to Eeiauo ) one day and a slashback had attacked her
He shook his head to come back to the present, hearing the new female ask about a burning man. His ears tipped forward and then he looked to the female's stomach for a moment and then asked "You look to be in pain. Are you feeling alright?"

She looked at her, returning her smile, after she made a grand show of checking her out. "Hope I passed your personal inspection of me."
"If I knew that, why would I ask what your standing on this vessel is? I cannae (cannot) make heads nor tails of who you are. But, I will tell ya this, shortly before ya appear in this sickbay, strange events start to take place. Now, if ya be crew you need a clearance for duty, and a civilian you need to tell me why your here."
"Now as your request for a hypro-spray the answer is no. I cannae be handing them out as candy. You will need a physical, and then we talk as to the reason for your personal need. If valid we will discuss this further."
"As far as being charming, the last one who said that, was Ian Steward. Few besides him have called me such."
Seeing Lt Covous come over holding her stomach. She grabbed her by placing her arm around her waist and putting Lt Covous' right arm over her shoulder. "Fong come and help me. And you Lt Grabfoot Of~Two Dawns return to your room so I can asses your "cure" properly. then looking at them she said "I will be right back."
She headed to the triage area. She would better able to find out what was wrong there.

As he stood there with Ann, he heard the Doctor explain her reasons why she didn't want to give a hypo out for "personal reasons" and then suggest Ann take a physical
He merely shook his head then then the doctor notice the new female was in pain The Doctor went to her aid and called her nurse Fong over to help her, hearing her address him again: "And you Lt Grabfoot Of~Two Dawns return to your room so I can asses your "cure" properly" His response:
His whiskers twitched, saying "I would suggest you help her with her ailment before "assessing" and telling me my shoulder is completely healed and looks better then new" and feels like it too
He watches as Fong come over to help Doctor MacAuley

He gave a stern look toward the doctor's back
"I heard you very clearly, Doctor. It appears you have not heard me. Security is not necessary."
He thumped his tail on the ground, out of frustration, turned and growled his way back into the recovery room. ~Security ~ he thought ~ If I ever see that fuzzbrain again, it would entirely be too soon ~
He then wonders how long he will have to wait again this time
