Now that the security console was linked to the XO chair for easy access when needed, the transfer of duty rosters, and the like.
"Sir, I have completed the link and everything I can do from the security console. What I need to do now is best done in my office. With your approval I will go, tend to those duties, then return."
He nodded to show his approval. She turned walked to the TL, facing forward she gave the command. "Security Office"
She entered her office immediately taking mental notes of the relative positions of things and how to personalize the office. She found it was easier to talk to people when they were in a friendlier atmosphere. She went to the environmental controls. She lowered them slightly. Not enough to be uncomfortable for the other crew members, but just enough to allow her to have more of a comfort zone.
She went to her desk sat down and then entered her access code. Then set to work, after reviewing the ship schematics she realized she would need to add two extra teams to cover this ship. Having chosen the team members she then worked them into the rotational schedule.
She stopped her work for a minute sat back. Satisfied at the amount she accomplished. Jaylas allowed her mind to venture to Akoval. She was definitely attracted to him, why, she had no idea he was not at all like the others she knew.
Perhaps that was it the differences. Not enough to create conflict, just enough to add interest, spice. Yes indeed this assignment just may prove to be the one she has waited for.
She resumed her work at a steady pace until the goal that was established was met. Looking at the time she saw it was 1700 hours. Tapping on her comm link.
"Major Aniri here Colonel. Will you be needing me on the bridge?" Considering the time she hoped not her stomach was protesting.

[glow=red,2,300]He wakes up hearing orders that we are being transfered to another ship. "Great! Just great. After all that work done in the Escape Pods and now this." He looks to see the time and noticed it was only 4 hours ago when he was finished with the Escape Pods and headed to his quarters for some sleep. Yawning he starts gathering what little stuff he had unpacked. "I just got here and now this. What's next? Another transfer from ship to a Starbase?" He did not know if Justin was still going to be the Chief Engineer or what he would be doing there either but orders was orders. After gathering his stuff he headed on to the other ship. Seeing her from the outside of it he was stunned and grinned in hoping he would remain as an Engineer. He boards her and looks around. Instead of finding out where his new quarters were, he went straight on to Main Engineering and put his bags down near the door. He did not know if he needed to report in, get right on working or even who to report to. He steps in and looks around. Amazed on how different she was but then a female Engineer walks past him and his eyes followed her until she was out of sight.

Thomas was still looking over the ships schematics when he heard the chirp and then Jaylas."Major Aniri here Colonel. Will you be needing me on the bridge?" Thomas looked up and saw it was nearly1700 hours.
"Jaylas no you have had a full day get some rest.In fact I am going to get some chow,Allen out."Thomas stood up and stretched his legs.
"I will be getting something to eat if needed," He told the duty officer.Thomas walked to the TL,he told the computer quarters.This way he could still work on getting the ship ready to go while he ate in his room.Well he could knock out the paper work at least.

Amy nodded,"Sounds like a good plan to me.When you are done want to go to Five Forward and see if we can find some hunky marines?"
She giggled at the comment,in truth she hoped she would accept.Amy liked to let her hair down every now and then but she liked to have a friend go with her.
In fact truth be told Amy was not nearly as bold when it came to men as she was in other parts of her life.

Kelly was about to answer Akoval when he looked at the time."Tell you what mate lets finish this in the morning.Kelly handed him a PADD here is the technical data on the fighters.Pulse phasers micro torpedo's and such.I will go over it with you tomorrow."
Kelly grinned,"I could use a drink if you want you are more than welcome to join me."He started walking for the hangar exit.
"That is unless you have a cute Sheila you are going to cuddle."He winked and smiled.Kelly hoped he understood he was just joking around.
He left the hangar and went to his quarters.Taking a shower he put on a casual shirt and slacks.he left his room and headed for Five Forward.

Thomas smirked a bit after Kol’rah walked away and began to spar with a few of the other Marines. When it comes to proving who he is in front of his family’s eyes, is to be the best man. As for proving his worth as a Marine, he has a lot more to prove of who he is. Moreover, there are many years for him to prove them in. He remembers the ‘Golden Rules’ that his parents installed in him since he could remember.
Thomas saw what time it was and noticed that he is off duty now. He wanted to look around the ship before their next mission. He still had not heard from Ann’Knox and figured that she wishes not to speak with him any more. He placed the comm device she given her into his locker and closed his locker door. He turned and walked out of the Marine Armory/Training Area, taking a look of different details of a few corridors he decided to walk. He detoured back to his quarters to clean up and change into a blue jeans and short sleeve T-Shirt. Although blue jeans and T-Shirt are uncommon to wear now days, but he always enjoy wearing them. He exited his quarters and made his way down the corridor.
Thomas noticed that there was a Five Forward up ahead and thought he could socialize more often. Perhaps he could actually find a few more friends or talk with some of the female crewmembers.

Jaylas received the message. "Yes sir, and you have a good night."
She stood up and stretched, turned off her monitor, leaving the office she made her way to quarters. As the door opened the cool air hit her. She smiled remembering she forgot to change them before leaving. While she and Akoval would enjoy it any visitor would be more then chilly.
She looked at the setting then raised it slightly. Walking into her sleeping area she got undressed then going to the shower she stepped in. After a few minutes she got out and then putting a towel around her hair she got a cup of Andorian tea.
Jaylas sat down on the couch, toweling her hair dry and drinking the tea. She decided to wait for Akoval before eating.

Kol'Rah had worked up a great thirst sparring with the other Marines.He looked up and saw Corporal Kinsley leaving the Armory.
He too left and headed for the NCO's quarters.He changed into his Klingon apparel and went to the area called five Forward.
He heard the other marines say it was a good place to get a drink.He hoped the Blood Wine was good.

Once order was established in the new labs, Kyah was finally able to go to the bridge. She went to the nearest turbolift and hoped it would take her to the bridge. "Bridge" She was gratified when it started moving instead. It stopped a few times for others to get on and off, but finally the doors opened on the bridge. She looked around for 1st Lt Norris and made her way around other people and equipment to reach him.
"You wanted me to report to the bridge sir?"

Akoval standing in the fighter bay arched an eyebrow as well as an antenna sharply in Kellys direction . A Shelia? no but I would like to get back to my quarters we don,t drink much some drinks are even toxic and dangerous to us. turning on heel lowering the light levels in the hangor bay and cutting past Roberts. Aside from that I'm sure Jaylis will be looking for me to have dinner started shortly.
With that he headed into the hals cutting thru the cooridors for the entrance to his end of the Quarters shared with Jaylis and making his way thru to the common area. Nodding to jaylis softly before sitting at the table a glass of ice water already in his hand. How was your first day as an Executive Officer not to stressful I should hope? Presonally and in his own thoughts Akoval wondered exactly what Jaylis thought of him>Presonally he thought she was diffrent intresting and exciting. Double checking the animals water and food returning to his seat after replicating the evenings meal.

Kestra saw who came and went when the shift changed. Watching how they pass to and from the Turbo Lift, with a very busy look on their faces. She thought this would be the best time to look around the ship before turning in for the night. Kestra looked over where Colonel Allen was sitting at and noticed that he already left. She gotten up from her chair and started to walk over to the Turbo Lift. Before entering, she noticed one of the Science Officers exiting out and walking over to 1st Lt Chuck Norris. She smiled at them both before entering into the Turbo Lift.
After the doors closed behind her, she thought of which deck she may want to go. Perhaps the Doctor could be in and would not mind some help. “Sickbay.”, Kestra said. She felt the Turbo Lift began its descent. Once the Turbo Lift stopped and the doors opened, she walked out and down the corridor, towards Sickbay. She entered into Sickbay and looked around for the Doctor.

Justin heard the doors to engineering open and looked over to see Patrick walking in. He almost chuckled when he sees Patrick watching one of the female engineers walking by.
“Glad that you can make it, Mr. Davis.”, Justin said to him. “She is a fine piece of ship.”, he continued to say. He was talking about the ship, not the female engineer. He noticed that Patrick still has his belongings with him.
“You can go ahead and find your quarters before your shift begin. After putting your things up, you can either come back here or head over to the Five Forward. You still have plenty of time before your shift begins. Of course, if you rather stay here instead.”
Justin thought that Patrick could take see what the ship was like, if he is able to less distracted. He thought that his two older boys had a problem distracted by women. He could only laugh internally at the thought of how is two older sons react to a female crewmember walking in.

Kasia smiled at Amy "I would love to, I heard it was specially designed, but I'm not sure by whom." She then notices Kestra enter sickbay, she seemed to be looking for the doctor. "Looks like you have a visitor, I will be getting back to work on the inventory." She then returns to the bio beds and her extensive inventory of everything they had in storage.

OOC COMMENT ---- I AM NOT SURE WHY PROBOARDS IS CENSORING THE WORD YOU USE AS A UTENSIL FOR EATING SOUP. WHEN YOU READ THIS PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND MY CHARACTER IS USING THE PROPER UTENSIL. I HAVE MODIFIED THIS ABOUT 8 TIMES AND GIVE UP.
When Akoval entered she was dozing off. As he sat drinking his ice water she looked at him. He is indeed a handsome man.
"My first day was filled entirely. It was more busy then stressful, but there where moments of stress. At first I could not link the security console to the XO armchair controls. It was embarrassing, just as I was ready to call the engineer I remembered the ridiculously easy path for it."
He got up after finishing his water checking on the prahma's. Then he got dinner on the table she sat down.
"Everything looks wonderful and smells good. Ah, excellent I love red bat soup. And the teeghar (roughly the same as a horse or cow) steak with gravy looks excellent."
She took a sthingyful of the red bat soup with some of the diced meat, then a bite of the teeghar steak. She smiled and her antennae curved in his direction.
"How was your day Akoval?"

Remembering to cut his teeghar steak into littler bites sipping his Ice water . It was hot Lr Roberts and I went over the weapons systems and enhancements these are diffrent than the fighters i trained on in the academy he seemed a rationial enough man straight forward and to the point e's from a place called Australia. thickly accented and hard to folow sometimes though I do my best to follow along. nodding his antenna following allong with his words rising and falling as he spoke taking a few bites of his teeghar and sipping his soup tenitivly. he even invited me to five forward for some drinks of course it would have been humerous to mention your previous bout with champaigne and the difficulties we have metabolizing most beverages of n a alcholic nature simply found it better to refuse
