Rules for the STUF Recruit Room

1) Obscene language of any type will not be tolerated from anyone, ST:UF and Non-ST:UF alike.
2) Remember that if you are a member of ST:UF, you are representing this fleet, so act accordingly.
3) No vulgarity is allowed, in word or action, from anyone. Not disputed.
4) Holding of the Bolt to the ST:UF Recruit Room can only be possessed by a sanctioned ST:UF member.
5) At no time will any verbal of physical assault be tolerated.
6) This room is for recruiting purposes only. Any non-starfleet sanctioned activities, unless given permission from the ST:UF command staff, will not be allowed.
7) PDA's (Public Displays of Affection) Allowed: Hug, hand hold, small kiss (between couples and family members only.)
8) The bolt holder will not eject a member unless they have broken any of the said rules after a warning is given.

9) Violation of any of these rules will result in a warning first and then ejecting from the room after a second violation, and possibly bolt holding privileges revoked.

Because of repeated violations of our rules I have found it necessary to add the following:

Any person who enters our Recruiting room and has in the past or in the process of creating numerous violations of our rules. Harass or disrespect the STUF you will be placed on permeant ban. You will, however be told if you are approaching that limit. Because of the serious nature of this action a three strike policy will be in effect.

Because of the ongoing problem with Angel Swan. It has become necessary to take our rules and futher define them.

I want to say at this time our membership is comprised of some of the best people the simming world has to offer. They have never been, are not and I sincerly doubt will be a problem.

Here are the updated rules with the necessay definations to as Angel Swan says close the huge loopholes.

Article I - Star Trek: United Forces Recruit Room
Forward - The Recruit room is the first impression prospective members recieve regarding our organization. Thus, acceptable behavior should be observed at all times.

No parts of this section are up for debate.

-Section 1 - No offensive language will be tolerated from anyone, Star Trek: United Forces member or civilian.
-Section 1a- Civilian is defined as such person not in the Star Trek: United Forces Sim Group Organization.
-Section 1b- No warnings will be given for obscene language in the Star Trek UF Recruit Room, depending upon the level of the offensive langage. This is up to the "Bolt Holder"'s discression. See Section 4 for more information on Bolt Holders.
-Section 1c- Cursing as a character action should be depicted as dashes or some other form of censoring.

-Section 2 - Star Trek: United Forces Members in the recruit room should act with all decency one would in a sim.
-Section 2a- Acceptable behavior includes Role Playing (see guidelines in Article II and later in this Article, Section 9), and recruiting only.
-Section 2b- Anything above and beyond these described activities will result in a warning and request to stop the above described actions. A second warning will result in ejection from the room.
-Section 2c- This entire section applies to Civilians as well, defined in Section 1a.

-Section 3 - Vulgarity is not permitted in the Recruit Room, in action or in words.
-Section 3a- Vulgarity includes but is not limited to sexual inndeundo, offensive language (see Section 1 of this Article), 'making fun of' or insulting members or non members, as well as crude or offensive 'humor'.
-Section 3b- Mature themed RP is expressedly forbidden, and should be taken to Instant Message, or a Private Room.
-Section 3c- Anything above and beyond these described activities will result in a warning and request to stop the above described actions. A second warning will result in ejection from the room.

-Section 4 - Holding the "Bolt", or ownership of the Recruit Room, can only be possessed by a sanctioned Star Trek: United Forces member.
-Section 4a- The bolt holder of the "Star Trek UF Recruit"
member room is charged with maintaining the rules in this article, and removing disturbances from the Recruit Room. The aformentioned person should also log the room at all times.
-Section 4b- See section 8 of this Article for "Bolt Holder" disciplinary actions regarding all sections of this .


-Section 5 - At no time will any verbal or physical assault be tolerated by a member or non-member of the Star Trek United Forces Organization.
-Section 5a- Physical and/or assaults include but are not limited to "Role Played" physical confrontations, verbal insults, as well as verbal or physical sexual advances (See Section 8 of this Article), or even seductive or sexual inndeundo. Take this type of activity to Instant Messages if you feel the need to do such.
-Section 5b- Anything above and beyond these described activities will result in a warning and request to stop the above described actions. A second warning will result in ejection from the room.

-Section 6 - The "Star Trek UF Recruit" is a recruiting room only, designated for the purposes in which the title expresses. Any 'non-Starfleet' sanctioned activities, unless permission is given by the Star Trek: United Forces command staff, is not permitted.
-Section 6a- This includes but is not limited to parties, non-Star Trek related Role Play, or anything else that might disturb recruiting activities.
-Section 6b- Anything above and beyond these described activities will result in a warning and request to stop the above described actions. A second warning will result in ejection from the room.

-Section 7 - Public Displays of Affection (PDA) is only permitted between couples and/or family, but should be "PG" rated.
-Section 7a- PDA's that are permitted are: Hugs, Hand Holding, Small Kisses.
-Section 7b- Anything above and beyond these described activities will result in a warning and request to stop the above described actions. A second warning will result in ejection from the room.

-Section 8 - The bolt holder will not eject a member unless they have broken any of the said rules after a warning is given, as perscribed on section by section basis.

-Section 9 - After three removals from the room, you shall be banned permanently from Star Trek: United Forces rooms and activities.
-Section 9a- Any warning for the above sections are cumlinative. A warning for Section 1 and a second warning for breaking any other sections rules is cause for removal from the room.
