This evening started off with me becoming the new Chief of Engineering. I am overjoyed about the whole thing and I will do my best as the Chief. As far as the action for tonight it went like this: We came in contact with the Aliens, they scan us, we scan them, we went to yellow alert; then Red alert, then they tried to communicate with us but we couldn't translate what they were saying. Hopefully next week we'll figure out what they want before somebody gets hurt and hopefully the ship won't suffer any damage.

Well We found out about the Aliens, I even found first hand that they don't have a sense of humor. I came up with alot of ideas to get us to communicate with the Aliens(they sure took their own sweet time to communicate with us but that's another story). Well we see what happens next week, I have some repairs to tend to after next week; but I can't forget that I have become an Ensign now goodbye Cadet hello Ensign Peters.

Well the Aliens took long enough but they have open fire on us and they hit us pretty hard which I didn't expect, and then they have the nerve to take hostages; guess they don't want to die. Anyway I still think that we are better then they are and that we can pervail in the end.

We are still at war with these aliens and they don't seem to want to give up their ground. Just when we were getting the upper hand they go and kidnapp the Captain and the Consuler. If our first priority wasn't to get back the officers they kidnapp already now we really need to get our people back and it seem like time is running out. Next week should be the climatic conclusion.

We are having fun enjoying our shoreleave aboard DS9. I met Quark the Ferengi Bartender and I even took a picture with him, he tried to sell me some worthless junk to which my shipmates assured me that the things were junk and that they would be a waste of money; however I must say Quark sure knows his liqour, I was a little disapointed that Guiness was no longer made anymore but the borian dark is a great substitute. when see when those Repairs get done for the Ayres. I will have to start laying off the alcohol or be paying homage to the porclien gods, however the toilets are made out of porclien in the 23rd century.

This week the crew is continuing their time sight-seeing on Vulcan while T-Lar readies for her mating ceremony. I been consorting with the locals and so far I have come to the conclusion that Vulcans work alot and don't spend that much time in recreation. We'll see what I can learn next week.

We turned the kazon threat into space matter, but were able to take a few of them for questioning. Next week we hope to find what it is they are trying to hide and what in store for when we reach the planet that we're headed to.

This week The crew of the Uss Aryes was still trying to help the people would were sick with the radiation and the planet campo(not sure about the spelling of the planet). Anyway Things went pretty well (well meaning no damage systems for the chief to fix) and the CMO was getting close to possibly finding a cure to treat the sick adults. As for me their wasn't really much to do except make sure that all systems were in working order and that the OPS, Helm, FP, and TAC all took care of the cardiassian threat. On a more Personal note after my actions as of late I feel that I being Ingored by the Crew. All I can say is that I am truely sorry for my actions, and if I offended any of you. I am hoping that u all will forgive me. I promise that if this ever happens again that I will leave the Aryes and Starfleet for good.

Chief Engineers Log
Stardate: 63650.61
Ensign Mike Redman Reporting.
Our little detour courtesy of Q, has brought us to Cardassia Prime. After recieving a distress call, we maneuvered to be....undetected. The Warp Signature left by the disable ship left alot of gluons, causing a very bumpy ride.
