Computer Begin XO's Log Authorization Anarra Five Delta

We have entered the cave system that we are to search. So far we have found several writings and etchings on the wall made by primitive rock writing tools. the suspicious thing is that we have determined that these writings are only as old as the war that this planet once faced.

Many of my fellow officers think it is just graffetti, but I am not so sure. I have seen graffetti on other planets as well as my own. And in my experience graffetti is more artwork then extensive writing on the walls.

I'm not sure exactly what it is yet, but there are several options that we will be exploring.

On a side note I am getting close to asking the Dr. for something to help me with my claustraphobia. I hate caves, they are too dark and dank. But this mission promisses to be very interesting so hopefully that will take my mind off of it.

Computer start XO's Log Authrorization Anarra Three Delta Theta.

We are now deep in the cave. We have already done some exploring. But due to the expanse of the area we will be breaking up into three groups. Right now we are relaxing and resting before we begin our more intensive search.

Groups were assigned, but then i pointed out to the captain that since we didnt know what we would come across we should have a trained medical personel with every group. I look forward to exploring the rest of the town. I just hope we dont come across any bats or other creepy cave creatures.

Computer Begin XO's Log Authorization Anarra Five delta Theta.

After exploring the cave system more we have returned to the camp site for a meal and to rest some. My group found a very interesting mosaic in a temple, were not sure if it means anything yet, but will continue to take scans. We also found a cash of weapons in the temple. I'm guessing this means that the temple wasnt just a temple. Most likely they sympathized with one of the factions.

We will be disembarking soon, where I will be joining Ael and Arrenhe in exploring the second chamber. Hopefully all will go well and we will find what we are looking for.

On another note, I have not had any more encounters with the lare flying spiders. Thankfully. Unfortanatly Johannas has started to play with them as if they were pets. ::sighs::

Computer Begin XO's Log. Authorization Anarra five Delta.

"We have finshed our current mission in the caves. We will be taking with us some artifacts that we have found, as well as information. The captain and Lt. Rey-Baccus found a weapon, and will be destroying it shortly.

We will then head on out of the cave, back to the surface to give our information to the proper authorities and return back to the New York. I greatly look forward to returning to a sonic shower a real bed and my daughter. Camping can be fun, but not in caves.

We are finally finished with the mission in the cave. And while there are things that I can n0t talk about, I know what we did was for the right reason. I just hope the artifacts we found, can lend some more light on this lost society.

We are now headed back to the ship, a fact I am very glad of. Weve been down here way too long.

The mission is finally over and we are back on the New York. Certain objects have been put in storage.

I look forward to relaxing with my daughter before joining the captain for dinner.

Computer Begin Sim Log, Authorization Anarra Five Delta.

We have begun moving the artifacts to the romulan home world. There they will be under better protection and examined by historians and scientists alike.

We have also recieved a shuttle with several new federations members, mainly in security and engineering, but Mark is now back. The captain has asked him to fill in at helm for now.

I am very happy to have him back, and it seems everything is back to normal.

Computer begin XO Log Authorization Anarra Five Delta Sigma

We are now headed back to federation space to return some artifacts to Starfleet and specifically Starfleet Medical.

I know many starfleet members are breathing a great sigh of relief. Theyve all been wanting to go back into home space for a federation space for a while now. Hopefully this mission will ease their minds that this is still a federation ship. Were just on a different kind of mission.

I look at things a bit differently... I see the ship as my home not the space that it is in.

We might be getting some trouble from the Breen or Orions, or who knows who this time. We are currently cloaked, and I have ship systems ready to either fight or to go completly down if need be to hide. Whichever the situation calls for.

I dont want to fight, but sometimes its needed, and protecting a medical cure is a big one in my opinion.

[b]Computer Begin XO Log, Authorization Anarra Five Delta Theta[/b]

We have returned to Earth for a few days and are now on our way to Vulcan escorting a romulan ambassador. I have been assigned to meed him, and help to make sure he is comfortable.

As he is a Vulcan, and an ambassador, I don't dare let my self touch his thoughts, however, I have been wary ever since he started asking questions about the captain. I will continue to try and sense his emotions and any signs of deception in him. Perhaps he is just wary of being on a ship captained by a romulan, though I have told him that she is an exemplery officer in every way.

On a personal note, Zandile has gotten married to Johannas, I am very happy for her, it is good to see her happy again, she deserves to be happy.

On another note Adria is now 9 months old. She has started wanting to run but keeps stumbling over herself. She has become quite the little exlplorer trying to get into everything, I'm just glad she hasnt been able to get out of our quarters yet. Mother sent me a letter wanting me to come by betazed as well to bring Adria, I'm wary, and unsure if I should.

Still no word from Mark, I hope to hear from him soon.

Computer Begin XO's Log Authorization Anarra Two Alpha Delat

We are now in orbit around Vulcan, we will be having a short shore leave for those who have it, but I will be staying on the ship. Vulcan isnt really my idea of a shore leave. Instead I will be going over crewman reports, and working on paper work.

The trip here was uneventful, but I kept finding myself holding back to not yell at the Ambassador, he kept questioning the captain, the New York, and all of Starfleet. It's not 200 years ago anymore....::sighs:: perhaps some people are still stuck in their old ways.
