Assistant Chief of Security Log, Stardate 62741.25
I have personally toured the new vessel, the USS New York and it seems to be in tip-top shape.
As Assistant Chief of Security, I will be in charge of 205 security personnel. I will also be in charge of greeting and escorting any visitors that come onboeard.
After conferring with Chief of Security Lieutinant Heath Malc, we have decided that the Security System will be as follows:
The Alpha team will consist of a total of 75 security personnel. The team will follow a standard 3-shift schedule. The team will be stationed in groups of five on decks 1) the Main bridge, (10 the computer core, (24 Life Support Systems, (36 Main Engineering, and (38 the Armory. At each station will be Portable Forcefields and Type-III Phaser Rifles. I will be in charge of the first shift, and I have assigned [NPC] Warrant Officer 2nd Class Colby Jackson to the second shift, and [NPC] Chief Petty Officer Ashton Tribble will be in charge of the Third shift. Also all Alpha team members will be either Away Team Qualified or Away Team Candidates.
The Beta, Tango, and Zulu teams will consists of a total of 90 Security personnel. These teams will also follow a 3-shift schedule. The teams will rove the station in groups of 10, between the cargo bays, the transporter rooms, the armories, the inertial damping system, the shuttle bays, and the electro plasma system. All Beta, Tango, and Zulu team members will be Away Team Qualified or Candidates. And team members will be on call at all times.
The ships standard security detail will consist of 30 personnel. They will rove the ship in pairs, 3 decks each and they will overlap.
Using a program developed by Chief Engineer Justin Kinsely, I have narrowed the candidate of the X-team down to 50 security members and I will further narrow the group to 20, when Chief of Security Malc will select the final 10. The remaining ten will remain as candidates.
In addition, all Security personnel have passed the FSect Test.

I have ran the X-team simulations and i believe i have the final 20 selected. (I will still need to clear the list with CSec Lt. Heath Malc)
The simulations have been long and hard, both on me, and on the candidates, and im sure they will be glad to have them finished. Lt. Malc has informed me that Doctor Marcus Battus, and Nurse Nyla Moran have been assigned to the X-team as well and they will need to be trained in Combat.
The crew seems to be getting anxious as we are nearing our departure, and I must say I am looking forward to getting back out there and underway.
On a personal note: I have finished decorating my quarters, and if I had to describe it, I would say that its a 21st century Sports Museum[/color] Computer, End Log

Assistant Chief of Security logs, Stardate 62763.97
We have left the starbase and are now en route to the testing site. There is no doubt in my mind that the ship and crew will both pass with flying colors. I do have a couple of areas of concern though. On an official level, the security crew that patrols decks 40-42 did not check in and caused a hiccup in plans, and a lot of unnecessary crew shifting. The 3 security team members who did not check in will be disciplined on the holodeck for their mishap. And on a personal note, I have heard that Ensign Montag has taken sick, and that they do not know how to treat it. I do hope they can figure out whats wrong with her and get her treated.

We have now completed the X-Team's final holo-test, and I must say, They completed their task in an unbelievably superb fashion. When I left the Holodeck, I was truly shocked and awed. I thought the toughest part was past, but I now see that selecting the final ten will make the simulations seem like a walk in the park. However there are many candidates who sustained injuries during the final simulation. I have no doubts that they will be able to recover from their accidents in a successful and timely manner, as we have one of the best doctors around. I must now go and speak with Chief of Security Lieutinant Heath Malc about who will be the X-Team.

Well. our shake down flight has been completed and I believe the ship did very well. A group of intruders were somehow able to board the ship, though they were quickly captured and sent to the brig. Upon an interrogation done by CSec Heath Malc and I, we found that they were paid by the Ferengi to distract us. I am not sure what the Ferengi have to do with all this though. Also, Ensign Montag was brought out of stasis.

Assistant Chief of Security's Log Stardate 62853.33 Doctor Anarra Danrea and I have been on the surface of Acamar III for quite some time now. The famine that has taken place down here is overwhelming, I've never seen so many sick people. I've had to callfor additional security personnel because of the Overwhelming numbers down here, but we are finally making progress, I believe. Three more shuttle craft full of sick people have just arrived from the other continent and are going to be needing medical attention as well. I have spoken with several diplomats and have given them food and supplies.
Also, CSec Heath Malc has been promoted to Executive Officer and the rank of Lieutinant Commander. I extend congratulations to him for his accomplishments. For the time being he will also remain as the CSec, however I will be taking on some added responsibilities. Computer, End Log

Assistant Chief of Security Logs, Stardate 62873.51
The away mission has finally been finished and the away team and I have returned to the ship, I dont think I've ever been so happy to be back on a ship before, all the sickness and suffering was starting to get to me down there. After treating many of the sick, we decided to hand over the task to the local doctors, there were far to many sick down there, we would have had to spend weeks down there to care for them all.
While we were on the surface, the ship made contact with one Captain Ronald Smith. As it turns out, Mr Smith is a criminal that is wanted for hijackings that took place near the planet Terra. He was beamed aboard the ship and taken to the brig, where Captain Radaik performed a short interrogation of Mr. Smith. We are going to drop him off at the nearest starbase, where I'm sure he will be sent to Terra to face the charges for his suspected crimes.
It seems as though all I can think about since returning to the ship is all those that are less fortunate down on the surface. I am headed to the holodeck for a little relaxation in the Mountains, but if that doesnt work, I will go to sickbay and have a mental checkup, although i have not personally met him yet, I heard that we have a new counselor on board. i might have to pay him a visit.
Also, Chief Medical Officer Anarra Danrea has been promoted to Lieutinant (Junior Grade). I commend her for her promotion, it was well deserved.

::Zandile takes a break from cleaning her new office. She had finally removed the dust bunny family and had moved on to the messy desk and finally gotten all of the old stuff Tyler had left in the desk drawers.:: Computer begin log.
Captain Radaik has finally found a replacement for me at helm so that my transfer request to security could be granted. I wish Rh'vourek good luck at helm. I also get my own office, but Tyler left his mess in here from when he occupied this space. When he gets back from the Romulan freighter that lost navigational control, I'm going to make him help me clean. ::Smiles.::
The Klingons seemed a bit angry that the Romulan ship was drifting into the KNZ, but situation shouldn't be too hard to resolve now that we've tractored the ship out of danger from the BOP.
I am so glad to get back to the security department. I was at helm so long, I was afraid I would forget about being a security officer. ::She opens a desk drawer, and a bunch of hand phasers spill out. She inspects them briefly, and finds that all of them are broken.:: I need to finish cleaning this mess. How did Tyler ever concentrate on work with a disaster area for an office?

I have been reading the reports about what has been happening with the damaged freighter, the cloacked ship going into Klingon space and the cause of the freighter's destruction. ::She shudders a bit at the thought of what would have happened if the away team hadn't been beamed back the the New York when they did.::
I am also making sure that sickbay, where Anarra is treating the injured freighter crew is secure.

Tyler and I are starting another round of security team holodeck training exercizes. We were about to start the program when the captain informed us that some of the Romulan freighter crew members were ready for questioning. Tyler is going to help with the questioning, while I set up the scenarios. The security teams won't know what hit them...
I hope the security teams' performance is up to snuff. We're going to have to be extra vigilant because we are so close the the Romulan- Klingon border. Anything could happen, if the incident with the Romulan freighter's destruction and the cloaked smuggler ship is any indication.

The security drills are going well. The second team improved the first team's time significantly, which shows promise. We have to prepare for real combat soon, due to the investigation into the smuggler's hideout. I can finish the drills and retest the first team after this situation is resolved.

I postponed the training drills on the holodeck until the battle situation is over. The security teams are still on high alert, though the main battle against the smugglers and their allies seems to be over. Tyler is going with Lt. Montague so she arrest the traitor herself. I wish Candela good luck, and that the traitor scum gets what he deserves.

We had just about the greatest away mission ever. Colonel Stevenson, Ensign Grox and Ensign Vadaldie and I had the distinct pleasure of capturing the traitorous worm, Ri'pak and bringing him to justice. We found him hiding in a cellar like the coward he is. We were caught in a firefight before we could get out of the traitor's hiding place. I'm always ready for a good firefight. Jane got hurt a bit, but she'll be OK. The counselor is a good medic as well as a counselor.
I have the honor of dragging this traitor back to the command center, where his punnishment will commence. I hope the other teams got back safely. I haven't sensed anyone in great distress, so I am thinking that everyone returned to the command center safely.

We have destroyed the cotraband and forced Ri'pak to watch his fortune go up in flames. A rescue attempt by Ri'pak's supporters was thwarted after a fierce battle and some cover fire from the New York in orbit.
We all returned to the ship so that Ri'pak's base could be completely destroyed from orbit. Candela is doing an excellent job of guarding Ri'pak in the brig, but I assigned a security team to watch the brig as a precaution. I have to report to sickbay, Doctor's orders. I seem to have aquired a few disruptor burns that Anarra needs to take a look at, even though they don't hurt. Hopefully her new promotion to full lieutenant won't give her a big head.
