Ship News
USS Expedition NCC 76227
The United Forces is proud to announce its newest simulation. We welcome the Expedition and its crew and look forward to its launch. The Expedition is a Nova class ship and her specs can be found on our website at Star Trek: United Forces .
The Expedition will be entering the Delta quardant to explore, to expand our knowledge, make first contacts and to secure friends.
USS New York NCC 71868
Recieved a transmission that she was to cease the investigation into the murders, submit all reports, and proceed to the Aldebaran II science station immediately. Where the scientist were to transported to the surface. In addition, they were to proceed to Mizar to bring the Ambassador. It was made clear this was to be done ASAP.
The New York immediately complied and traveled at warp 9. The XO had Ops send out a transmission on all bands including military, and space stations they would be taveling at the speed. Because of this transmission the New York was not interrupted.
Once the Ambassador was dropped off at Mizar, the New York turned about and is headed to the RSE.
USS Aryes NCC 81204
After taking the orb to Bajor the crew of the Aryes left to return to the space station. It was discovered that the holodeck had a simulation running for over seven hours straight, and there was a missing crewmember. In an attempt to shut down the program all bridge crew was transported into the holodeck.
Finding themselves trapped in the 1930's of Earths history. In a place called Las Vegas. The holodeck program is a recreation of a murder mystery. The missing crew member was found in the back alley of the casino dying from an apperant shoot out.
The members of the Aryes is not attempting to find a way to end the program.
101st Marine Pathfinders
Captain Sandra Iverson is still in sickbay where the doctors still remain unsure if her eyesight will return. Many members of the 101st have visited her.
The 101st was called planet side to assist in repelling a force of ground troops that appear to be from Earth circa 1940's. Once the shuttle landed it was immediately attacked. One of the troopers threw in a granade that had a sleeping gas. Exactly how these troops are able to appear, or how they are managing to do it.
USS Pegasus NNC 25347
The Pegasus finished her mission at Zed-12 and enacted the necessary proceedures to ensure the security of the supply and ship yard. She left the yard to go to Star Base 120, for repairs and supplies.
While the repairs and resupply proceed the crew has been given some needed down time.
USS Frontier NCC 11385
After dropping off the Ambassador on her home planet. And the mercy mission began, it was discovered that the planet was infected by a bactial infection. Admiral Taylar declared an emergency and had the entire away team evactued, while a search for the cure of the infection is found.
Board sims
USS Vindicator NCC 16052
All the ground forces that were on Talnoc II are now back on the Vindicator. The senior officers have either finished or will be holding debriefings soon. Bridge personnel is back on the bridge.
The injuried are now in sickbay and the new CMO Doctor Romberger will have her hands full, as will the AMO/FMedic. Who has been shouldering the load for awhile.
USS Terrasect NCC 70000
The Terrasect while approaching the Typhoon Expense picked up a cloaked vessal. They are still in Federation space. At first, thought to be a Romulan warbird but as it fired on the Terrasect scans revealed it was Reman ship.
The Terrasect is now engaged in a battle with the Reman ship.

New Beginnings - The United Forces
Last week I ended by saying the boards were officially opened and now the first posting on the boards took place. For a couple of days no one posted it, then Admiral Crystal Stuart broke the ice and posted. Once that was done everyone had something to say. It was during one of the talks with Admiral Stuart that the importance and the character building aspect of the boards was shown and then implemented as a part of the United Forces. This is just one example of how the CS of the United Forces has always worked together. Admiral Stuart became our Fleet Admiral and was excellent, unfortunately real life took her from us as active member, but not from our hearts and memories.
The first website was almost completed and this project was a joint effort of both the then Commodore Kenneith M Basal, and General Mark Levy. They both worked diligently and somehow finished this first project on time. Later as we grew and our needs expended it was clear we needed a more organized website, and one that would set us apart from the others. That was when the skills and knowledge of Commodore Jim Harsting, now Flt Admiral Harsting was fully ultized. More on that at a later day.
Our meetings were now being held at least twice a week. There was always something we needed to discuss, go over, recommend and the start date was racing towards
This week the USS Frontier approached us for joining the UF. She would enter as fully crewed ship. The sim group she belonged to suddenly folded and she arranged with the founder of that group to keep the ship. After meeting with our Command staff and our criteria we accepted the Frontier and now had our third ship. The Pegasus, London, and Frontier.
Meanwhile Admiral Stuart set in motion the first board sim, the USS Vindicator which would take a couple of weeks since permission to use her design was needed by another group. However, she talked to some of her friends and started to crew the Vindicator.
The idea was to open with both live and a board sim. Already, even before the doors opened the UF showed it be about simmer choice. More to come next week.

This week we place Colonel Magus Stevenson on the hot seat as he was informed of being the latest victim.
Jenina Weslynes1 [7:38 PM]: Good evening Colonel Stevenson, your my latest victim.

MDBulb49 [7:47 PM]: Please
Jenina Weslynes1 [7:47 PM]: Your currently stationed in the New York. This ship is the only one in star fleet to be co'd by a Romulan. What do you think of her command of style and of serving under a Romulan?
MDBulb49 [7:51 PM]: Her command style is very assertive, which is the traditional style of the Romulan Star Empire's command doctrine. In regard to serving under a Romulan I treat it as if I was serving under any other CO in Starfleet.
MDBulb49 [7:51 PM]: She is well versed in the traditions and customs of the Starfleet so I accept that as what is the situation.
Jenina Weslynes1 [7:53 PM]: Why did you join Star Fleet Marines, what do you hope to bring to it and take away with you?
MDBulb49 [7:55 PM]: When I was in the Academy is where I made the final decision to join the SFMC. Everybody was joining the regular Starfleet and the SFMC does that along with other, sometimes more interesting activities.
MDBulb49 [7:57 PM]: I hope to bring to it the same dedication and service towards the UFIP as if I was serving with the regular Starfleet and have already gone through some interesting experiences that will stick with me in my retirement, along with some of my comrades.
Jenina Weslynes1 [7:58 PM]: Many Marines opted to specialize for instance communications. Have you specialized in anything? And if so, why did you chose to specialize in that.
MDBulb49 signed off at 8:02 PM
MDBulb49 signed on at 8:04 PM
Jenina Weslynes1 [8:05 PM]: wb
MDBulb49 [8:05 PM]: I was a platoon leader in the 2nd SFMEU (Starfleet Marine Expeditionary Unit) during the build up to the Dominion War and eventually became a company commander on board the USS Prinz Eugen. I had the unit cross trained in fighter combat and operations so you could say that before I came on board the New York I was in ground operations along with fighter ops.
Jenina Weslynes1 [8:07 PM]: You are Capt Radaik s XO, what is the most challenge and rewarding aspect of an XO.
MDBulb49 [8:08 PM]: The most challenge is doing everything the CO has to be able to do along with leading it yourself since you are the primary command extension of the CO. The most rewarding aspect is the crew interaction and level of hands on elements that come with the job.
Jenina Weslynes1 [8:10 PM]: What interest and hobbies do you enjoy? And do these assist in your current position?
MDBulb49 [8:12 PM]: ::Smiles:: As the Captain knows and some of the crew, I am a cigar enthusiast. She will not permit smoking on her bridge and that is totally fine with me. For each new ship I am on I get a new lighter made up with an outline sketch of the ship class and the name/registry. I also enjoy reading and just relaxing. These really don't assist me in my current post as the XO but are good ways to unwind from an otherwise eventful day.
Jenina Weslynes1 [8:14 PM]: And now for the ladies of fleet. Is there a someone special in your life?
MDBulb49 [8:16 PM]: I was married for about three years but lost my wife when her ship the USS Orion was lost with all hands. She was a member of the Security team.
Jenina Weslynes1 [8:19 PM]: One final question, concerning the United Forces is there anything you would to see added, changed or deleted?
MDBulb49 [8:20 PM]: I would not mind seeing a few joint missions with some of the other crews in the fleet along with more competition amongst the crews. Other than that the organization of the administration is pretty solid and command teams on board the ships and on the Pathfinder unit is top notch.
Jenina Weslynes1 [8:21 PM]: Thank you for you time. ::smiles::
MDBulb49 [8:21 PM]: ::Nods and smiles:: Thank you and have a good evening, General.
Jenina Weslynes1 [8:22 PM]: You too. ::smiles and walks away::
MDBulb49 [8:24 PM]: How was that?
Jenina Weslynes1 [8:24 PM]: good
MDBulb49 [8:25 PM]: Cool

Talaxians
Talaxians are a highly technologically advanced species. They have had warp technology since our 1940s. In meeting this whimsical race, one would be surprised at how advanced they are. They seem to be very entertaining to those who like to be amused but to "others," whom are all about orders and logic....this race is very annoying.
Besides that, many humans enjoy the company of this fun loving species whom welcome all; which is odd after what had happened to their race in the past.
A war was being fought between Talax (the Talaxian Home world) and the Haakonian Order. This war was finished in 2355 with the launch of the Metreon Cascade, a weapon developed by Dr. Ma'bor Jetrel designed to release radiation poison on impact. The result was a massacre; over 300,000 Talaxians were killed. While some escaped, most were destined to death. If the impact itself didn't kill them, the radiation burned away their flesh; until nothing was left to burn away.
Besides all of this destruction, Talaxians do not fail to believe in their religion or stop being as kind as they have always been. Today, you may find Talaxians scattered over the Delta Quadrant; living happily with their families, putting aside all of the destruction in the past and looking to the future.

Zandile and Anarra’s top 10 List
You know when you’re in a Star Trek SIM when:
10. When the majority of the people aren’t human
9. The Q show up at random times and do random things
8. Everyone has multiple personalities, and it’s not considered a psychological disorder
7. You don’t question, and usually understand the strangest abbreviations such as CMO, CNS, and XO (which, contrary to mainstream belief, means XO, not hug and kiss)
6. Vulcans (or half Vulcans) have the screen name laughalot
5. When people throw virtual pies at you out of nowhere
4. The only way the CMO gets out of sickbay is for an away mission
3. The only time the helms officer does anything not at helm is… never
2. When everyone blames the transporter chief for getting booted off AOL
1. You can ask others what species they are without sounding strange, insane, or offending them.

Today, you may find Talaxians scattered over the Delta Quadrant; living happily with their families, putting aside all of the destruction in the past and looking to the future.

our Lt jg Anarra Denrae & Ensign Zandile Rey
of the USS New York NCC 71868
