Ship news
USS New York 71868
They completed the transfere of the prisioner, Captain Ronald Smith, to the USS Malvent NCC 17344. They took on a mixed party of 7 scientist, and a diplomatic party of 5. The scientist working on a special project for Star Fleet, will be dropped off at Aldebran III.
The New York will contuine to Mizar system to drop off the diplomatic party. They will be assiting the Mizarians in a dispute with the Cor Carolians of Cor Caroli V.
As they begin this mission we wish them luck.
USS Aryes NCC 81204
The Aryes remains at the mercy of Q Perfection. We can only guess the reason behind her request. In exchange for a necklace she claims belongs to her, she has brought them to a planet to find a missing orb of Bajor.
The away team is on the surface of a medium size island. They located a temple within a cave. It has ancient Bajorian symbols declaring that only those who the prophets have found acceptable may enter.
Hopefully the necklace will be there. Otherwise a search of the island will be required. Good luck to the crew of the Aryes.
101 st Marine Pathfinders
The 101st took the day off so the members of that sim could enjoy the preparations for Thanksgiveing.
The 101 st did the Marines proud this week they have been very active on the boards. The members of the 101 st have completed over 90 postings in one week. Several individual storylines have started and the char development being seen is exceptional.
The command staff of the 101st is comprised of Colonel Keith Fox and 1st Lt Sandra Iverson. Along with First Sgt Stallings. The command staff of the UF has noticed and commends the 101st for a job very well done.
USS Pegasus NCC 25347
The Pegasus took Friday off so the crew could recuiperate after the all the festing on Thursday. And to allow others to travel home safely. They are at the Draken Testing Facility undergoing a seris of tests. It was felt necessary to make sure Q didn't harm the ship. As the General has said many times. Better to be safe then sorry.
So far the Pegasus has done well on the testing. To date the only problem found was the some minor damage done by a few Tribbles thanks to the childish Q behavior in a Jeffies tube.
USS Frontier NCC 11385
Finally left Vulcan with Lt Samek. After leaving Vulcan space they were attacked by Rouge Klingons. The hull of the ship was breeched and the Klingons boarded.
The crew of the Frontier were able to defeat the boarding parties. One party reached the bridge where a fire fight broke out. They are currently on the way to SB12 for repairs to the ship.
Board Sims
USS Vindicator 16052
The Marines of the of Vindicator remain in intense fighting on the surface of Talnoc II. Casulities remain low and the death toll thus far has been minual. Which reflects on the leadership of Colonel Keraz, his skills as a commander of a Marine Force has beeen highlighted and proven once again.
The Lyrans on the other hand have experienced heavy losses and casulities. To date the only thing discovered thus far is a missing obsolite probe. It can be assumed the Lyrans were on the surface when our people arrived. If technology is what they are after why take an outdate probe, in a facility that is kept empty of supplies and equiptment.
Contuined luck Vindicator
USS Terrasect NCC 70000
The Terrasect remains in position on the Federation side of the Romulan Neutral Zone. While the Admiral growing concered for the safty of person he's waiting for has decided to use a shuttle and look for them. We urge the Admiral to be careful.
We still can't discuss the mission they are currently on in greater detail.

New Recruits
The Pegasus welcomes Elizabeth Young a Marine who will be stationed as the new Chief Security Officer. She is a Terran from Earth. Here rank will be given when she reports in.
The Frontier welcomes Kwin Spiritwalke to thier ranks. She will take the combined post of CMO/CNS. She is Bajoran and will feel at home on the Frontier who has several Bajorians.
The New York welcomes Marine PFC Daniel Ferrelli, until the New York has a Commissioned officer PFC Ferrelli will be placed under the guidence of the security department.

Promotions
The New York is pleased to announce the promotion of ASecurity Officer Tyler Barrcus to Acting Chief Security Officer. This position became available when the former Chief security officer became the XO. Eviess Radaik acting on the recommendation of her XO and her personal judgement feel he's ready for this new position.
Good luck Ensign Baccus

Transfers
The Pegasus has lost two fine officers one is 1st Lt Mark Micheal who has transferred to the New York. Those on the Pegasus were saddened when he they witnessed his departure. The New York will be getting an excellent Fighter Pilot.
The Pegasus second officer to leave was Colonel Keith Fox who was the Security Chief was in the orginal group of the Pegasus which was fully crewed for the first time a year ago. He will be missed on the Pegasus. The Aryes will now have a new Chief security officer.

The United Forces Boards
All news concerning them are here
Concerning the Baords we have several things to report. The first of these announcements concerns the number of postings. We now have over 3,500 postings and the United Forces is only 9 months old. Many groups never reach this number. This is due to the membership who takes an active part in this sim group.
It has been said that a groups health can be measured by the number of postings. If this is true then the United Forces is very healthy indeed. Again we on the command staff thank our members for thier contuined active particaption.
Special note for the 101st Marine Pathfinders who broke all pervious records with a total of over 90 postings in one week. During this time several new officers have made themselves known, a couple of older members of the 101st have once again begun to develop personal storylines. I for one will enjoy watching and reading how these storylines develop.
The Captain of the New York, Eviess Radaik reports the exceptional growth of a new charater. This is found in Yhea T Hrienteh, while the mun is known to the us under another charater name, he chose to take on another one, a Romulan Character. Eviess has been acting as his mentor, and is more then pleased with the growth seen. And in his overall knowledge of Romulan Culture, history, way of talking, and in his begining to understand the Romulan lanuage. Very impressive Ensign Hrienteh. Keep up the good work.
Concerning the scenario's, once again the 101st pathfinders have distinquished themselfs when Pvt Galar finished all seven scenario's. He now enters that special group of members who have done this. Great work and well done.

Interview
This week we have put First Sgt Stallings on the interview hot seat this week. This member who is chosen for this, is entirely at random and unknown to the member until my famous IM introduction of "your my latest victim lol".
SKPMC9900 [2:48 PM]: lol
Jenina Weslynes1 [2:50 PM]: Your assigned to the 101st Marine Pathfinders, as the First Sgt. What are your impressions on the 101st and for our non marine readers what does a first sgt do?
SKPMC9900 [2:52 PM]: I see the 101st as very disciplined. I see the comradery and see excellent leaders create the future leaders. They are a very close group with the finest officers and enlisted I have ever served with
SKPMC9900 [2:54 PM]: As first Sergeant, I am the Commander's right hand man. I deal with the enlisted affairs as they come in. I do all in my power to keep the morale of the enlisted high, but at the same time focused. I ensure that the NCO corps is doing their job in leading.
Jenina Weslynes1 [2:55 PM]: Why did you join the Marines? And what do you hope to bring to it and to take with you?
SKPMC9900 [2:57 PM]: I joined the marines to see something different. I've seen the same old ship sims and got bored with them.
SKPMC9900 [2:58 PM]: I hope to bring in the quality leaders that the enlisted need to be successful. That way they will always be tactically proficient in combat
SKPMC9900 [2:59 PM]: I hope to take everything I have learned and use it for knowledge in the future. So I know that if a particular situation comes up again I know how to react.
Jenina Weslynes1 [3:00 PM]: Many Marines have specialized, with that in mind have you specialized in anything and if so what is it.
SKPMC9900 [3:03 PM]: yes. I specialized in my ability to control the fight. With help, I leaned what it takes to conduct such combat manuvers and what goes into them
Jenina Weslynes1 [3:09 PM]: As a combat marine what would you say to others to explain why one would chose this path?
SKPMC9900 [3:10 PM]: As a combat marine, you are the war maker. Marines are the first line defense in any conflict and the defenders of peace
Jenina Weslynes1 [3:12 PM]: What do you hope to achieve before retirement within the Marines?
SKPMC9900 [3:15 PM]: long term I want to achieve creating a 2nd dedicated marine sim just as dedicated as the one. Mid-range I want to make Sergeant Major one day. Short term I want to get both combat Platoons filled completely
Jenina Weslynes1 [3:18 PM]: What interest and hobbies do you enjoy? And do these help you as a Marine?
SKPMC9900 [3:19 PM]: I enjoy reading during my time off. It keeps me occupied. I also do physical fitness to keep a healthy body. It keeps me alive in combat
Jenina Weslynes1 [3:21 PM]: On a more personal note, and I know our ladies will want to know. Are your married, or have a special someone in your life?
SKPMC9900 [3:21 PM]: Nope, still single here
Jenina Weslynes1 [3:23 PM]: One final question is there anything you would like added, changed, or removed from the United Forces?
SKPMC9900 [3:25 PM]: I'd like to see a more enlisted-involved chain of command. That way enlisted affairs can be reported from the lowest enlisted, through their NCOs, all the way up to the group command staff.
Jenina Weslynes1 [3:27 PM]: That can already be done at anytime the communication part.
Jenina Weslynes1 [3:27 PM]: Thank you so much for your time. and have a wonderful day.
