Arawn heard Esti repeat his question of what she is in the mood for thoughtfully before linking an arm with him. That is a good sign, he thought. At least he is earning her trust. In time, he hoped to earn more.
"Trouble, eh? I like the sound of that" he said as she steered him toward a secluded and semi-dark corner of the lounge "I think this could be the start of an interesting partnership." He then lowered his voice "What kind of trouble are you looking to get into?" He asked, curiousity and interest in his question

"Are you familiar with Nova?"
Esti asked as a verification only. It would have been impossible not to know about it. Since the drug had been created by the Orion Syndicate, it's popularity had well, gone nova. A memo had been circulated throughout the Fleet as well. Anyone caught taking it was subject to immediate discharge which was usually followed by an immediate death. It wasn't that this drug was any worse than any of the others, it was the fact that manufacture and distribution was strictly controlled by the Syndicate and the Empire hadn't been able to recreate the formula or find a way to benefit from that profit. One hit was all it took to get hooked but the addiction couldn't be hidden for very long. It drove a person to the very limits of physical and psychological endurance and finally into insanity. That was why the Fleet had banned it. The Syndicate would not be allowed to take both profit and trained personnel from the Empire without paying for it.
"There's a new drug on the market now. It's called Blaze. It's effects are similar to Nova but not as completely devastating and it's not yet regulated. You understand?" She leveled her gaze at him. "A prudent investor could take advantage of that."

He smirked, hearing her ask him if he knew of Nova. "Who hasn't..?" He asked simply, with a hint of sarcasm.
It is quite the popular drug that came from the Orion's. He had tried himself but he didn't like the effects it had, so he quit using it but that was before he joined the fleet. His father thought he should join the Empire's fleet to make himself into something and to serve and defend the empire. He thought his dad was nuts and had too many.. noble ideas. Eventually he joined, but for his own reasons. To make a profit and to find women.
The woman in front of him continued and brought his thoughts back to the present of what she is talking about. Yes, he has heard of this Blaze, the effects weren't as potent and this gave the user the euphoria he or she was seeking. She gave him a level look and a gleam entered his eyes. He smiled at her "I like the way you think, babe. I have been thinking myself of investing into this little profit margin, see how far it will go and how much of a profit I, or shall I say we, can make?"

"I've been watching. No one here has a regular supplier yet. If they have it, they found it off-ship and brought it aboard. Most aren't willing to take the chance of being caught. If I..If we, get a tag on the market now, anyone who suddenly discovers the courage, will have to come through us."
Esti noticed a shadow moving up behind them at the table. Since they were seated off to the side, the only reason for to someone to take a sudden interest in what they were doing was because they were looking to get some for themselves. She must have appeared to be a little too enthusiastic. Without acknowledging the shadow, she raised her foot and slid it along the inside of Arawn's thigh. When she saw that she had his attention, she reached across the table and grabbing the collar of his tunic, pulled him across the table to her, kissing him hard. The shadow passed without comment, apparently convinced the passion she'd displayed had been for her partner.

Yeah, that would be a problem. If we are in mid mission, getting access to it would not be so easy. Coming through us would be much easier and the profit.." He broke off as he saw her look just over his shoulder at someone that came too close. He started to turn but felt her foot on his thigh in a most intimate gesture. She reached across the table and he had no choice but to be pulled toward her and kissed out of his socks
He got the impression it was for the benefit of their uninvited guest but he rather enjoyed it. He grinned at her when she released him. "We can do that again anytime, honey." he said with a wink
