This area covers the activity taking place in Main Engineering on-board the Aryes.

Marshal Walks into main engineering after the meeting in the conference room breaks up. He takes the last bite of his bagel and rubs his hands together to dust off the crumbs.
He turns to Zila and Major Christienne as they come to a stop near the pool table in the center of the room. I think we can rig up a few suits using common Starfleet equipment that will make us seem extraordinary to the locals. he winks at Zila. Though in my book some of us already are extraordinary.

"I take it this flirtatious banter is just part of getting into the character, lieutenant?"
She smiled, a raspberry seed from the pastry unknowingly lodged between two of her front teeth.
"Doctor Catastrophe is limited to using what technology was available on the shuttle or at least we hope so. We'll need to surpass that. We'll also need good public relations. We should seek out that reporter and the organization he works for and let them know who we are and what our "mission" is. If the Doctor is the maniacal egotist he seems to be, he won't be able to resist the challenge."

He gives other woman a smile. Don't feel jealous, Major. You know you'll always be the First Officer of my heart.
As far as finding Dr. Catastrophe. i have no doubt he will make himself known when the time comes. remember he only gave the city a 26 hour deadline, which is rapidly approaching. If we hope to make any difference we need to be quick about our preparations... We can save the PR for after we kick his butt. I can see all the smiling and cheering fans now.

"Now who's being egotistical?" She cocked an eyebrow "We shouldn't be staying around waiting to receive medals from the government. We leave as mysteriously as we arrived.. then perhaps go back in ten years and see what time and exaggeration has done to us. Larger than life statues in the city square perhaps?" The grin returned.
"A compromise then. Save the media but choose the largest or most well known area to appear in. Now let's hear some of those brilliant ideas of yours."

"I think a very public thwarting of a heinous crime will be enough to draw this Catastrophe fellow out." Zila said with a giggle. "Don't worry Major Collins says those things to all the ladies. I think he has a book of compliments somewhere. "

It's not a book so much as a few files compiled into a smaller compendium... A novella at most. He gives them a big smile.
As far as my brilliant ideas... We can simulate superhuman strength by cannibalizing an anti-grav sled and rigging the flow capacitors up to a modified suit. Similarly, miniaturized shield generators can be used to render a person invulnerable, at least for a short period of time before the energy source burns out.
He thinks for another moment. Certainly, taking apart a few phasers and attaching the emitters, focusing components, and power sources to gloves would allow for an energy discharge that can stun an enemy.
If we had more time we could try and rig up a miniaturized holoprojector. Than one of us could create false images, at least for a short a time anyway. We would need a larger portable power source...
Also back in the 23rd century there used to be these little diversionary toys that were in fashion for a while. They were boots that had anti-gravity generators attached to them. They weren't overly complicated but people used to use them for scaling low mountains or simulating low altitude flight. It shouldn't be too hard to wring up a harness that can do the same thing. he stops and looks at them.
Those are some of my ideas, but i am open to more. We should each pick a few powers for ourselves and create a persona.
