After the drone had stunned Kefira, it flew off. Although it did not fly too far. It crashed through the TL doors then simply dropped down the shaft to the botton, having expired the last of it's energy
Hitting the bottom, it would explode. Shards and fire shooting up the shaft a couple decks before dissipating

After hearing the Captain he realized he mayhave been out of line it was just that an Engineer took it personal when his ship or, rather the Captain's ship was damaged in any way. The crew of course was not Lats concern except for those that helped him do his job. After it was said and, done the crew would soon die if the ship ceased to function or so Lat thought. He tried to sound apologeticand respectful as he gave his response."Aye Captain I knows yas havesa tough job up there . I will get yas warp engines soon Sir." Infact as soon as the Captain spoke he had the Assembled team begin their work. Many were alreadyheading to the Workbee in the Hangar bay as well asothers in their suits. were heading to outer hatches

She stands up and looks around before taking another step. "Thanks Commander. Now all I have to do is to change this torpedo a little." She changing it slightly. "It appears someone had the same idea but never got to finish it Sir." Taking another check on it before closing the lid to the torpedo. "One hot torpedo Sir. I suggest you use it only when you need to. As with any other torpedo Sir, you can only use it once and then boom it is gone."

((OOC Note: I should be fully back up and running with my computer around the end of this week. Sorry for the delay in posting.))
A small smile crosses his face as the cadet reports what she's finished working on.
"Very good. With any luck, we won't have to be firing."
Crio then gets a very puzzled look on his face, as he heard a static-filled voice on the comm.
"Terra............ Ijoula........ come........"
He presses a couple of controls on the control panel on his wrist and tries to clear it up and respond.
"Terrasect ...... Ijoula...... come in."
"Ijoula here. Go ahead. I'm glad to hear your voice, sir. Are you all right over there?"

'Ijoula... Glad to hear... all right.. " Came Ijoula's response over the static-d comm line. Whiskers twitching, he would tap a couple keys on the command chair controls, the static diminishing again. He replayed the message and replied to the commander on a clearer channel, his gaze sweeping over the bridge, his eyes falling on Lt Greyhouse "Aside from a few bumps and bruises, commander, we're all fine. We seemed to have come to a peaceful resolution to this whole matter. What is your status"?

He listened to the reply, and was thankful that he got to hear the full response without all the static.
"'A peaceful resolution?' I'd love to find out what ace you found in your sleeve to pull that off.
We're still here, and we might even be able to figure out a way to get this ship moving. We did have an encounter with another drone, but thankfully it was almost completely out of power. I think it crashed down a turbo-shaft and exploded, when its power reserve ran dry."

His ears shifted forward at the Commander's metaphor. Ace up my sleeve? He questioned himself mentally, with a glance down to the short sleeved uniform shirt he wore. He had cut off the arms since his arms were covered in fur and only made him more uncomfortable
"That was merely a demonstration" He told Ijoula "In order to stop this 'demonstration, I purchased the vessel so it is now mine to use as wish" He presumed
His whiskers quirked upwards as Ijoula explained there was a live drone over there but with it being low on power, it ended at the bottom of a turbo shift shaft, exploding into scrap metal "Good place for it" he muttered to himself
"That would be good to get the Jackson under it's own power, Commander. That way both ships can return to the nearest Starbase for repairs. Agreed?"

"A demonstration?!?" he responded, aghast at the notion of attacking a ship just to 'show off' one's abilities.
"If it were me, I'd likely have been tempted to 'demonstrate' how to turn that thing into several hundred pieces, with a few well-placed torpedoes..." he muttered to himself, outraged at the realization that the Jackson was attacked in the same way, as a 'demonstration' of this drone system.
Crio glanced at the cadet and nodded at the idea of both ships being able to return to base together.
"That would certainly be ideal, and it would avoid subjecting the Jackson to the added stress of using a tractor beam, unless the tractor beam can be modulated to help boost the structural integrity over here. I'm not sure if that's possible, but that is an idea to investigate.
I need to ask, though.. Are the transporters still behaving over there? If they're not, we may need to have materials shuttled over, as needed."

She looked at the captain, Tatical sensers are clear and we still have that lock on the away team should they want to come back home sir. As far as transporters being operational you'll have to ask operations. After she reported out she looked back at her sensors and sat back down as her back was needing to be rested after standing for a while. It was tence not knowing what would happen next to the people off the ship and she wouldn't fully relax till the ship and crew was out of imediate danger.

His ears twitched as he heard the surprise and shock in the commander's voice as he told him that was merely a demonstration "Aye Commander, that was a demonstration, according to the holographic sales merchant. I would hate to see what that ship could do if we were the enemy" Most likely end up like the Jackson, or worse, he mused
His ears tilted forward then whiskers quivered in humor as he heard the Commander's outspoken thoughts "Believe me, Commander, I would have placed a couple torpedos across it's bow, stern and points in between if I could" but by the time they had found out what was happen, too much power had been drained to have effectively used torpedos
He heard the Kefira speak in the background and listened to Ijoula's response 'We can attempt to use the tractor beam to tow the Jackson, but primary systems are still recovering from the power losses. As far as transporters, sensors would indicate they only sustained minor damage. I'll get Engineering to fix any damage sustained"
He turned toward Greyhouse as she reported that tactical sensors were clear and the lock on the away team is still active. He was about to respond when a familiar voice touched his ears, a voice he hoped he would never hear again

The Minosian Arms Merchant pops back on the veiwscreen, with a cheery smile on his holographic face "Greetings Captain. There is one small little detail I neglected to mention. There is a neural interface that comes with this particular model, to cut down any delay in response time and you would be able to decimate your enemy with a thought"
"Neural.. interface"? Captain Two Dawns got out before he would feel a tingle inside his head, a small chip being transported directly into his cerebral cortex "Enjoy Captain"
The merchant disappeared again. Captain Two Dawns would started recieving systems reports from the small craft that he purchased
Note: The Neural Interface chip is very much like the chip that Admiral Janeway had planted into her brain in "End Game"

Crio couldn't help but chuckle a bit at his captain's response to placing torpedoes at every point on that drone that he could find.
"Do me a favor... Remind me never to get into a game of velocity with you, as I fear I'd end up regretting it." he said with the intent of hopefully easing the captain's mood, as he was sure he was pretty upset over what had happened.
He looked over the readouts on an auxiliary monitor in the torpedo bay, before heading out.
"I hope the chief doesn't have his work cut out for him with getting the main systems back online. Do you want us to come back for the time being, or continue our investigation over here?"

"Do me a favor... Remind me never to get into a game of velocity with you, as I fear I'd end up regretting it." He heard from Ijoula and he made asound of amusement, something between a chuckle and a hiss. He is actually in a pleasant mood since the situation had ended in a peaceful way. At the moment, the only thing that would sour his mood is his tail, which is really starting to hurt. He is sure that he had pulled a muscle in the base of his tail with the last transmission from the Field Marshal himself contacted the Terrasect and had promoted Commander Ijoula and himself to the field commission of Captain
Ijoula's next transmission brought him back to the present "If I know our Chief Engineer, Commander, I doubt it will be much of a problem to get the systems back up to par. As things have quietened down here, you can continue any invenstigations you started over there. Although, I would like to inquire what Doctor MacAuley is doing. If she is not busy, she can return here to attend to some injuries"

The only reason he mentioned the game known as velocity, was because he was particularly good at it, and did not want to risk the captain's anger if he were to lose in a game.
He paused for a moment as he listened to the report of casualties. He was worried with the severity of the attack about fatalities.
"Understood. The last time I heard from the good doctor, she was in the Jackson's medical lab checking information on a number of things. I was thinking about getting in touch with her anyway, to check on her progress. I will add a gentle suggestion about her heading back.
Right now, even if transporters weren't offline due to all the overloads here, I don't think I'd trust them. However, I think the shuttlecraft transporter is still in perfect condition. If the Terrasect can maneuver within the shuttle's transporter range, we can use that for now, depending on the condition of the transporters over there. No offense intended sir, but I'd rather play things as safely as we possibly can, considering the circumstances. Stand by, sir."
He would then tap the intercom again and open a channel to Doctor MacAuley.
"Ijoula to Doc MacAuley. How is your investigation going?"

It had been very difficult for her with her feet still injuried and very painful. She was quiet and avoided any conversation and fixed her mind to her work.
