Personality & Traits:
Anichent is a moody, reserved, and straight forward individual. Has a tendancy to say shakespearean type statements from time to time, oblivious to the semblance.
As with all Andorians, he has a genetic disposition towards violent behavior. While needing to constantly keep his temper in check when on duty and around others, he sometimes has violent outbursts when in private.
Strengths: Possesses a strong sense of duty, excels at analysis and reasoning under pressure, ambidextrous, focused, and stern.
Weaknesses: Tends to get overly focused, and too stern at times. While normally between polite and civil, tends to lose tact when extremely annoyed, or drinking alcohol. Comes across cold, and not easily friended. He is closed-minded and untrusting to certain races; Orions, Romulans, and Cardassians.
Hobbies & Interests:
Has very little desire for recreational activities, but does practice often in Martial arts,fencing, and physical workouts.
He occasionally paints, and plays the hyperblat, an Andorian musical instrument...to sustain his drive for inner expression of feeling 'whole'.

History:
Thavanichent th'Dani, Anichent for short, was born on the southern region of Andor's mainland.
He entered the Andorian Starflight Training Institute in his youth, specializing in tactical engineering, security, and combat fighting skills. While there, he fell in love with a zhen female, Narisha.
Out on an Imperial Guard training cruise, the ship experienced a strange unidentified anamoly where Narisha was mortally wounded.
During her Sending (a ritual performed as a funeral) on Andor, Anichent was introduced to a chan and shen coupling, from another tribe besides his own, who had been suggested to him and Narisha to be their bondmates upon their completion of their training and university studies.
While emotionally unable to bond with the potential bondmates, and help in their search for a zhen female replacement, Anichent began leaning politically towards the Revisionists Party, a new party that promoted the genetic alteration of the Andorian race to save it from extinction, changing it back genetically to the two sex coupling.
As a thaan male, he originally felt compelled to stay close to Andor. Yet, feeling more and more unaccepted and looked down upon, a year later he left the Imperial fleet and Andor, and then submitted his application to Starfleet Academy.
Away from the highly structured Andorian Society, it became harder to keep his violent tendancies in check, and he became known for being a loose cannon, getting involved and even initiating brawls in Starfleet and civilian lounges. With a warning, and encouraging advice and orders from the Academy Dean and his tactical instructor, Anichent received counseling, and learned to combine Earth martial arts with Andorian martial arts to improve his self-dicipline.
During his Senior year in the Academy, Anichent was approached for his Andorian political beliefs by an Andorian physician. He became a volunteer, undergoing procedures, and giving samples to an undisclosed section of Starfleet Medical research.
This was resumed during his assignment to the Utopia Planitia Fleetyards.
