For a few minutes, Kiele had concentrated on her boards, a frown line on her forehead slowly developing with each new reading. "Colonel? There's a sand storm moving into the area the team was transported to. I still have a lock on them but communications are out. Nothing but static. I've checked the mineralogical composition. Along with the common silicates, there's another element present. It's inert under normal circumstances but when it moves at a high velocity and strikes the silicates, it becomes active and spins off energy absorbing particles. It appears the team has taken refuge in a natural cave, but it shares the same properties as the sand and is acting like a sponge soaking up signals."

He listened to Fetch Storm as they walked, then the tunnel split and they went separated ways, "Man he complains allot no wonder he is Navy" he chuckles to himself
after 5 minutes he uses his phaser to mark the wall, then he keeps walking, the tunnel looked like the cave, he then comes to a split and marks the way to camp, then goes down the left side.
when 10 minutes came he stopped and commed the camp "Greathouse to base camp do you read me?" all he heard was static "Great the com isn't working now" he marks the wall and continues

******PEGASUS ACTION******** Greathouse moves the cave, but does not notice a small black mark on the elbow of his EVA suit. The sand seems to react to each footfall, and there is a wave force that seems to be moving across the cave wall that resembled ripples in a stream. Looking around in any direction there seems to be long passage ways. The EV Suits seemed to keep them cool from the heat but it can still be felt along with everything else.Fetchstorm is having trouble in the suit, but something about the world itself is fouling up his sense of direction. He also has a dark spot on his suit, but his is on the back of his leg. The passage he took seems to be narrowing.( Apologies to crew. The board ate the first part of this action. I have rectified the error.)

He felt something was wrong. He wasn't sure what but he felt something was off, especially his equilibrium and sense of direction. He knew the suit was restricting but not this much. should it?
As he walked along, tricorder in hand, he noticed that the tunnel was narrowing. He stopped and tried to look further down the passage to see if it led anywhere, besides a dead end. He glanced at his tricorder to see if it would give him any clue
He glanced around, pondering the idea of going back whence he came. He happened to glance down and seen the black spot on his leg. He groaned a bit, wondering what else could go wrong. He set the tricorder to analyze the black spot.
After analyzing, he decided to go back before his disorientation got any worse. He found some loose rocks on the ground and fashioned them into an arrow, in case he should return here again with the rest of the group
He started retracing his steps back to the branch off, worry entering his thoughts of whether they would be able to get out of there or not

Moving through the cave, "Is it me?"he asks as the sand seems to react to each footfall, He starts scanning the sand "What the?" he says as he sees a wave force that seems to be moving across the cave wall like ripples in a stream. He Looks around the opening in every direction there seems to be long passage ways. "the cave temp is 103 my suites working good keeping me at 68" He touch the wall and could feel the heat before his suite adjusted.
"No exit, better head back" he turns and heads back, to the others

Keep trying , but give the AT a chance to work it from their end. He looks at his OPs officer. I know that there concern, but unless we can confirm real life threatening danger they stay put. We have one shot at this I don't intend to blow it.

She glanced back, noting the intensity of the XO's expression."I'm afraid there's no other option at the moment. Whether it's the storm, the elements or a combination, it's creating too much interference for me to safely transport them back."

charlie stood with the Doc over his shoulder, and looked around, The Valley was lush and green like an oasis the large structur stood like a tower with alien writing he has never seen.
"Any of you ever seen this writing I have never seen it?" he looked at the others then noticed the sky turn Red "That's hardly ever a good sign the sky turning red"

Ethan walked through the opening along with Fetchstorm. He heard the Greathouse exclamation, and looked down at his tricorder. Now you've done it. We have lost Pegasus, big boy.

Charlie looks back a Ethan his helmet hides his smirk"It's not lost it's still up their, we just lost the signal, no doubt interference from the cave has caused it"
He places the Doc on the ground, he looks at fetch storm"Fetch Storm was your tunnel any better he asks as he runs the medical tricorder checking the air

I beg to differ with your grasp on the situation. He points to his tricorder. These things access information from the Pegasus computers. You didn't actually think we stored millions of terabytes of data in this small thing. If you look its reading basic information. If we had just lost the signal there would be intermittent bursts to give us something and there's one other thing. While you were looking at the 'pretty red sky' did you notice the absence of any other stars or moons. This was near a system and they were there before. I think we moved into something that may not even be known space.

He looks at Ethan, "When you were on Earth did you see stars and moons in the day time through a Blue Sky? No you did not, so why would you see Stars and moons through a Red Sky?
Tricorders don't hold million of terabytes, I agree 100,000 terabytes I guess We were told to move we moved!
Now if you want go back were we were at, be my guest but with atmosphere interference the burst may not even get though, right?
I take it you ran all the reasons the Burst may not be picked up other than the ship is lost?
Walks over to Fetch Storm and taps his helmet "Fetch Storm can you hear me?"

He enters Sickbay and sees the nurse working on the Doc and Fetch Storm, he steps into the decontamination chamber, with Ethan.
He Looks at Ethan "You got be careful teasing Kiele, She can get mean" he says sitting with a towel around him "Theirs allot people on this ship, even thou she more than able and would not want us to, would pound you into the deck"

Ethan was in sickbay in a medical gown as were the rest of the away team. He saw the big security chief come over and listened to his words of warning. "I'm not sure about your concern on the matter boyo." He said taking exception to this warning. "I've been calling Kiele that since I got here. If there was a problem I'm sure I would have already been, how did you put it? 'Pounded into the deck.''? One thing you did get right though is that Kiele can take care of herself, she's never minced words with me before and I'm sure she won't now, but whatever happens is between she and I. He smiled a wicked smile. But I do know enough about her to tell you if she thought you were having this talk with me, I wouldn't be the one being pounded into the deck, because size and all mate, I think she can take you.

He looks at Ethan "My concern on it, is I think of Kiele as a sister" he sees Ethan's wicked smile and wanted to slap it off him "Yes it's between you and her" he then laughs "If she knew I was talking to you about it she chew me up one side and down then other, I have no doubt she might be able to take me" he gets up and starts to leave, then looks back "I get over protective sometimes" he says then leaves
