This had been an odd week for Andy. First, he's going to be a father, this frustrating issue with the mysterious Trinity, and now a promotion. He had decided after his conversation with Fetchstorm he should talk to Charlie. He sent out the summons from his office.

Receiving Andy's summon to report to his Office Charlie acknowledges it makes his way to XO Office.

His mind was on the mission as enterd the TL "Bridge" the lift moves, he stands in the center of the lift hands behind his back, when the Lift stops as the doors open he exits, and walks over to the XO's Office and rings the chime

Enter, He spoke and not waiting to stand on ceremony said Sit down. Without looking up.

Charlie enters the Office and sits down when Andy tells him "You wanted to see me Sir?"

Two things, He said finally looking up from his work. First, If there are any Klingons aboard this ship they are in your charge. Keep em out of trouble and out of my hair. Second, when we reach M14 You will lead the away team. There are two members of the team that must be on that team: The new CMO and Fetchstorm. The rest are your choice, clear?

He looks at Andy "I shall keep Klingons out of trouble and out of your hair" the then nods "The CMO and Fetch Storm on the mission, I defiantly will take the MCO as well"

"I'll go over the mission briefing and add others as needed Sir"

He stands up and paused for a moment, as he thought about asking about Winter as he hasn't seen her latly.

He snaps a crisp Salute off "Yes Sir!" he spends on his heals and exits the room

Andy watched the big Security Chief leave, but he'd already forgotten the conversation or at least put it away. This mysterious General Birch, and what secret so many had to be buried to keep. Though not as well connected as the General Weslynes, he did have some contacts in the intelligence community. It took him a little coercion and a few favors, but the last mission of General Martin Lyndon Birch sat before him.

MISSION FILE: Operation Harkness

Mission Parameters: There had been evidence given by an unknown source that the Breen were building up for an attack on the Federation. Intelligence indicates that it is centered around a weapon of unknown origin. The weapon would give them the advantage they sought over the greater numbers and resources of the Federation. The Breen desperately wanted to finish what they started with the Dominion.

Mission personnel: Vulcan militia team, Andorian Imperial Guard Team and Marine Toxic Squad.

Last transmission reported the location of the weapon and the origin had yet to be determined. The other two teams returned to their respective worlds, but Toxic squad never returned.

It was a short file, and very little to go on. Andy had two more names. That was twice what he had before. He wondered if the bodies he had seen decaying might have part of this Toxic Squad and who were they. He sent the file to General Weslynes in box and steepled his hands. How many more pieces to this puzzle.

The AT was trapped in cave after a sand storm, tapping his com "Greathouse to Kiele, Sand storm we took cover in a cave" he activates his transponder so they can be tracked, knowing the Cave will block the stander way. He then Comm the team "Can you hear me?" seeing that the comm between the AT is working.

He looks at Fetch Strom "I need you to hunt for another way out he then looks at the DR. "Is the Air safe?" he then looks at the CENG "boost the comm and transponder if the ship don't reply in 10 minutes" he looks at the MCO "Stay here with the Doc and Engineer, keep an eye out I'll take the second path to hunt for a way out, lets get to work

He looked at Charlie with a somewhat annpyed look, his tail inside his EV suit twitching "How can I hunt for anything with this" launches into a few Sivaoan expletitives "suit still on? My movement is impaired as is my sense of smell, hearing and sight"

Ethan opened up his combadge and started to examine it. "Mr Securing chief, " He called back." I have bad news. He takes out his tricorder and scans the sand. "This isn't just earth or sand. There are minerals in it that act as natural energy receptors. What that means is that the overloaded the small power cells in our badges. Thats the bad news, He smiled. The good news is that I may be able to modify the tricorder to use it to boost its signal and turn it into a transmitter so we may communicate with the ship. The comms in our helmets will work for local, but until I can get out of this EV suit I can't do much. Working in these gloves is like trying to work with 'all thumbs".

Charlie looks at Fetch Storm "Your not hunting prey, your hunting for away out of this cave, once the Doc gives the OK you can take the suite off, which you'll find was better you left on"

He then hears Thames report his finding "hopefully we'll be out of these suites soon, do what you can"

He the Address everyone "Everyone has a job lets get to it" he looks at the MCO "If the ship replies up date them" then looking again at Fetch Storm "Report in every 10 minutes" He turns and heads down the tunnel

He wanted to rip off the EV suits helmet, but the thought of asphyxiation made him second guess that action "Foolish human. You think I use my senses just for hunting? No, just like you, I use my ears nose and eyes for multiple things"

He followed Charlie down the tunnel but when the tunnel branched, he took the other trail to explore and find a possible way out
