Kuvak barely had time to adjust to the dark and silent bridge when the emergency lighting activated. He blinked a few times then took assessment. It was certain that the Romulans had been taken and no one else. The gas that had been pumped in the ship would not have effected anyone else, but he noticed the toxicity levels had dropped. 'Cold comfort' because nonetheless, they were still down to a shortened crew. The first order of business was to get a count of who was left on the ship, the next would be to compare skill sets. He knew he would have Suder, he just needed to find out what his skill set was. Both Hanson should be available too. They would prove useful. Then there was Saavpek, he didn't know why but this woman managed to have a large grasp on his thinking and methods, if he could hone that knowledge she could also prove useful. He started giving them assignments both because they were needed and to quell the emotion of doubt that he was experiencing.

He groaned and woke up in a strange cargobay, he assumed they were the Reman, ship he had no weapons or tricorder on him, he then noticed all the Rishannu from the New York were in this cargobay.
Making his way over to the Rivo, he looked around, for signs of the Reman watching them, then checked the Rivo the old fashion way, she was alive up unconscious, he then changed ranks with her, his Honor and oath he must protect the Rivo at all cost.
He then checked Dan'lia next each Rihannsu was unconscious, finally he sat on a create, and started thinking as hard as he could about Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green the Reman would not know what it was about, but David and Jane if they picked it up he hoped, would remember thats what what he saw from the babies.
Right now his mission was to keep the Rivo, alive until the New York found them

He was laying in his cell, his breathing would get heavy at times, his face was swollen he hurt all from the beating he took at the hands of the Reman.
He swore an oath to protect the Empire his Riov and the ship so changing ranks with the Rivo, to protect her in his mind was not a brave thing, its was honor to his oath and word. With out his word he had no honor, with out honor he he was not Rihassnu, His views may be different but his blood ran green, he was Rihassnu.
He felt at ease when Dan'lia spoke to him letting him know the Riov was unconscious but OK, as he laid their he could barley see anything as his eyes were swollen.
All he could do now was hope Jane and David could pick up his thoughts, as he heard or saw nothing to let him know were they were going, he had to hope they pick up the colors and pin point were he his

She was at her station manning it like she always did when the lights went out and the air changed. Apart of her felt uneasy for a moment before the emergency lights came on bathing the bridge in their dull glow. Trying hard to get her bearing she reached out to try and feel where her two centers were at. The kids thankfully were alright and David she was able to sense him as well but Ejiul…she couldn’t sense him. That is when she turned around for a brief moment and saw every Romulan they had been working with was gone from their post.
She just as quickly turned back around in her chair to her station and went about trying to get the ship on some sort of a course that would place them anywhere near their crewmates might be at. But she didn’t know what direction the ship went that kidnapped them. The background radiation was too great at first for her to determine where but then something stood out and she found the trail. No matter how far away they were now her mind reached out past the ship some to try and search out Ejiul she knew he would be trying to get their attention.
Searching with her mind for where they might be at she stopped the ship in the area that she started sensing the colors and emotions of Ejiul. Telling that he was close made her heart leap just a little he was a big part of the kids mind right now and anything she could do to reduce their anxiety and increase their happiness right now was her greatest wish. Sensing that Eijul was in pain and that he was thinking of different colors her mind wandered back to when the children were inside of her still.
That was when she knew that they were close, so she moved the ship till they were in an area in which she consistently felt the colors and emotions. Opening her eyes she looked at the coordinates that the ship was at and then looked around at the bridge back at tactical in particular where her mate was at and then spoke to him through their bond. ~We’re close I can sense Ejiul…he’s hurt but still alive. We’re not too late just got to keep searching for them. They’re out here somewhere. ~

The pain was increasing, his eyes would barely open as he was become tired, he coughed up some blood from the punctured lunge he had.
He concentrated on Jane and sent out the colors again, He was trying to save the Rivo, their only hope was she pick it up. He took a big chance only thinking of colors he opened his mind up their was a chance the Reman might sense his thoughts but they have no idea what the color's meant

Dan'lia checked on the other crew in the cell, trying not to listen to the shallow breathing of the Riov. Most of the others were starting to revive, and, with her help, get into a sitting position. She spares a glance at Ejiul, with his eyes closed and seeming to concentrate. She looks away and continues to work on the others.

Star fleet headquarters was cold. It was always cold lately. Commodore Paul St Clair used to never notice the temperature. It was always the task at hand. His focus used to be legendary. Now, at the age of a hundred and twelve he was just cold. He was tired more often and his hands hurt. The doctors do what they can, but he was no longer the young firebrand he used to be. There was only one reason they ever had him venture out of his house: The Romulans. He had been a large part of creating the treaty that brought the alliance together, and because of that the Romulans only dealt with he or the others involved. It must have been his turn. Retirement in Star fleet was a funny thing in Star fleet. It only counted when it suited them. He straightened up as well as he could before he entered the room. He didn't know if it was for the young Star fleet officers or the Romulans. He just knew rule one in diplomacy was to create a strong appearance. He entered and saw the Romulan image on the large screen. All parties in the room frozen. He suppressed a smile. It was Sub-Command S'harien'Vahhrer. His expression told Paul he was not happy. It was one of the things he liked about Romulans. They were easier to read than Vulcans. "Sub commander," Paul interrupted. "What has brought us the honor of a conference with you?" "Commodore," He bowed sarcastically. "I believe it is in your customs to send greetings. Now that the formalities have been dispensed with, I'd like to know what your Federation has done with our officers and our cloaking device?" "Sub-Commander," He said matching the Romulan's intensity. "We are just as concerned as you are. You lost a cloaking device, we on the other hand are missing a starship. I talked to the head of Star fleet command, and he has assured me that he is putting the best ship available on the job." "I'm sure that you have, and in the spirit to which our treaty was created we would also like to assist in the search." He responded. "You want to bring your ships across the neutral zone to search?" The very thought of this made Paul's hand hurt even more. He smoothed back that one tuft of gray hair he had in the front of his head. He could feel it on the bald spot in the middle. He knew he could not out and out refuse. Star Fleet would want him to ask for permission, but this was a delicate matter. He dared not show weakness. "I'll agree to one ship, you can pair it up with our ship. We'll update your information within the hour." "I look forward to the communication." He bowed. "You have satisfied honor for both our people. As I knew you would." The Transmission ended, and Paul's problems began. Wasn't retirement fun?
