She knew she would be called in by Sahen for the debriefing, so she began her report in written form on her padd. Thus ensuring she would not forget anything she felt was important.
"Upon arriving I was sent to the Federation team which consisted of a Terran, Adian McKenzie, and a Bajorian Inid Kiara. McKenzie seemed out of place, no more like out of time or sync with the things around him. And in many ways more like a cadet. Kiara on the oater hand was a seasoned officer and moved as one."
"Kiara had very basic knowledge of Rihannsu, and would tell McKenzie at times what she knew. I did observe a being of green energy, which gave rise to a feeling that it was part of the ship. It is very difficult to explain."
"In my opinion this was a prototype which went array. The technology was advanced but since I am not an engineer I can not add further to this." She ended it there to collect her thoughts

She was her console keeping watch over the bridge. She received the CEng's report. "Understood"
"Helm engines have been restored however, do not exceed warp as they require further attention."
As per the Riov's instructions she removed the cloak. She felt uncomfortable with they were still in the Federation space.

Lyretha did as she was told and relaxed her stance, though her demeanor remained formal.
"Rekkhai, I will recount my observations regarding the ship itself rather than those of either away team except when it is pertinent to the explanation unless", she nodded deferentially, "you desire otherwise.
"From what I was able to determine, this was an experimental Borg ship. I do not know as yet when it was first launched. The Daise'Paectum (Chief Engineer) believed that the drive systems were interphasic. Many of the things we observed on the ship would seem to confirm this. There were energy phantoms, some which appeared not to notice us while others seemed provoked or were activated by our presence. The ship itself was phased into rather than had impacted the planet. The energy distortions we encountered, which also created the communications and transporter interference, increased significantly the closer we came to Engineering. Also because of the interference we were only able to record a very small amount of information. However, while investigating Engineering, I located this disc." She leaned forward to place it on the Subcommander's desk. "I have only reviewed it briefly, without the opportunity to catalogue all the files it contained, however it carries a Federation identification. In my opinion, the Federation responded so quickly because it already had a vested interest."
She paused to allow Zareth to the opportunity to question her regarding specific details.

He heard Veralen instruct him not to exceed warp five after the Chief Engineer had called the bridge, reporting that they had warp power back, which he confirmed on his Flight Control Board, but instructed not to exceed warp 5
He turned a look toward Veralen and nodded "Ie, I will not exceed warp 5"

She relaxed her stance but he could tell her demeanor was still formal. She began by saying "Rekkhai, I will recount my observations regarding the ship itself rather than those of either away team except when it is pertinent to the explanation unless", she gave a slight nod "you desire otherwise."
He had been a little curious about the other members of the of the away team and he merely nodded. The Two that he was with, A Vulcan female and a human male. The female was his counter-part as he is the First Officer, so was she. He presumed that she was the more reserved one, as most Vulcans are, and her companion, the Male was more outspoken and tended to use humor with situations
He listened to her report as she reported on the ship in question, which she confirmed it was an experimental Borg ship. The Daise'Paectum theorizing that the Borg vessel had an interphasic drive. As she spoke, he was taking notes on a PADD, what she was saying and some of the things he saw with the AT. She spoke of how things seem to confirm what the AT, including him, observed. Energy Phantoms would appear from time to time, some just ignored the AT others came as the AT tried to get information which was hampered by energy distortions. He had began to think that the energy distortions were caused by the Interphasic Generator still being active
His eyes glanced down to the disk that she was placing on his desk, she saying that she found it in the engineering section. She informed that she had briefly looked at the disk and it had a Federation ID. She opnionized that the Federation had responded swiftly as they had an interest in the Borg Vessel. He gave a nod commenting "Interphasic Technology would hold the interest of many, can be used in many different ways" He paused a moment to think of something to ask her that would add to her already thorough report "Have you been able to decode the Federation ID Code?" He knew the Riov would be interested in such a disk

"I have an hypothesis, Rekkhai. The identification of the code is well hidden but the files were not secured. The disc was left in such a manner as to give an impression of haste. I suspect that whomever it was who was attempting to transfer the files, had to leave quickly, perhaps even as we had to, as the drives activated, and left the disc assuming that no one would find it. The difficulty in accessing the identification code leads me to believe it was left by someone working in covert operations, such as Starfleet Intelligence. I have had very little time to work on this Rekkhai, but I am certain I could determine it's origin given the opportunity."
She straightened a little in her confidence, hoping he would judge her capable and allow her this chance to both serve and advance her own career.

His brow rose slightly as she told him that she has a hypothesis. He's listening as she hypothesized to him, "The identification of the code is well hidden but the files were not secured. The disc was left in such a manner as to give an impression of haste. I suspect that whomever it was who was attempting to transfer the files, had to leave quickly, perhaps even as we had to, as the drives activated, and left the disc assuming that no one would find it. The difficulty in accessing the identification code leads me to believe it was left by someone working in covert operations, such as Star fleet Intelligence."
His brows knit together, thinking that was very foolish to leave a disk of this level of importance for someone else to find and he told her as such "Very foolish to leave such a disk for others to find. There mistake shall be beneficial to us"
She concluded with "I have had very little time to work on this Rekkhai, but I am certain I could determine it's origin given the opportunity."
He looked at her as she straightened slightly, can almost sense her level of confidence rising a notch. He studied her a moment, knowing she would do a thorough task as to determining the disk's origin but he had someone else in mind "I am certain you would be able to find it's origin as well, Erein, but I have another person in mind for that task. I would like Kiith'Auethnen Khev to analyze and determine what is on this disk and have her report to me on her findings. Can you theorize on how long this will take?"

The Subcommander was correct of course. Khev would have greater access to files and would no doubt be able to make a quick and accurate identification, but her jaw tightened nonetheless knowing she would be passed over for the distinction.
"As you wish, Rekkhai. Many of the files were detailed charts and schematics and showed the design of the ship and the drives. I also saw navigational charts. Places that I believe they either had been or intended to go to.The files themselves are not difficult to access but it may take some time to give them order. I would suggest too that the Daise'Paectum might be of some assistance for those relating to the theory and application of the drive systems. If they work together, it may only take a day to complete."

As he watched her reaction, he noticed her jaw clench a little, as she disapproved of his decision but was professional enough not to question him. He gave a mental nod of approval.
He heard her accept his order "As you wish, Rekkai" She stated, then added Many of the files were detailed charts and schematics and showed the design of the ship and the drives.
He narrowed his eyes slightly, in thought as she gave him the ETA when the information would be fully looked over. He was due to make a report to the Riov on the Phased ship in one full day. He thought he could also debrief her on the disk as well but that may have to wait.
"Very good, Erein. I will need to see the Daise'Paectum as well as the Kiith'Auethnen before they start on the disk. I have no further questions. You are dismissed. Ask one of the others to come in. Hann'yyo"

One of the others? She wondered if allowing her to choose was a further test of her intent. Khev should be next to speak. She had been on the away team and would also need all the time possible to work on the disc. Perhaps the Subcommander wanted to know if she would act on his choice of Khev in a way that would place her own interests above the Riov's and the ship's. If she chose someone else, he could easily dismiss them and call in the one whom he wished to speak with or perhaps, she considered, he only trusted her to make the correct decision.
"Ie Rekkhai." She saluted. As she exited, she saw that most of the oira officers took furtive note of her. Catching Khev's glance, she nodded very slightly, her eyes shifting to Zareth's office, indicating that she was expected.

He sat there and waited for the Kiith'Auethnen after the Daise'Dheno had left. While he waited, he added the Daise'Dheno's report to his and then added his opinions
10 minutes have passed and the Kiith'Auethnen has not arrived. Feeling a bit annoyed she did not answer his request for her presense, he thought that he did not have time to sit idle. The Riov had asked for a complete report on the occuranced down on the planet and he promised he would get one for her
He tapped a key on his desk, opening a comm to the Kiith'Auethnen "Kiith'Auethnen Khev, if you are not too busy, I would like your report on what occured down on the planet" His voice was cool, with a tinge of sarcasm. He did not like to be kept waiting

He sat there and waited another 10 minutes for the Kiith'Auethnen to report to him but she had not done so. She hadn't even acknowledged his call to see her. That is what upset him more. She seemed to be blatantly ignoring him
He shook his head and decided to move on without her. If she decided to report in later, he would deal with her then. Until then, he was not going to sit idle
He tapped the key on the desk again, this time calling the Bajoran Khhae'Saehne "erei'Arrain Jerrod, report to my ready room"
He hoped he would at least have the sense to acknowledge the hail and report in
