The Daise Dheno's regret was her own as well. She could only take some comfort in knowing that the Federation ship would have also learned very little.
"Ssuaj." She did not allow the frustration she felt to transfer itself to her voice. "Prepare the team for transport."

t'Stellam acknowledges the Riov and moves off along with McKenzie, Inid, Quol and Jerrod, locating others of the Aryes team who are attempting to pinpoint the areas of the sphere that have the least interference and will allow them to transport out.

Liordra allowed herself some satisfaction in having re-established communications with the away team, that pleasure was short-lived however as Helm alerted her to the approaching cube.
Fvadt! This mission seemed ill-fated from inception.
An ominous voice blared over the internal comm of the ship. We are the Borg. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. The announcement was emphasized by the shuddering of the ship as the Borg fired their weapons. There was a hail from the Aryes. "We might need your assistance, Commander." She held tight to the arms of her chair as another volley of fire hit them. "And we may need your's as well, Captain. "Tactical! Shields and weapons online. Return fire. Helm! Evasives!"
"They are beaming to the surface. We need to stop them" , replied the Andorian. "I will have our tactical station coordinate their attacks. He turned toward the ensign. "Ensign, coordinate all attack patterns with the Romulan ship."
The transmission was ended abruptly.
She watched the cube's rapid approach. "Engage the cloak. We need time to find and retrieve the away team. Continue evasives and provide protection for the Aryes."

The klaxon signaled Condition Red. All crews were at battlestations. The lowered lighting cast the oira in reddish glow. She commed tr'Kayton
"Launch all fighters immediately. Cloak and engage the Borg at close range. Try to locate their power sources. Target their transporters. Anything to distract their attention from us."

He grabs onto his desk as the ship is rocked, then it goes to Red Alert
a message comes in "Launch all fighters immediately. Cloak and engage the Borg at close range. Try to locate their power sources. Target their transporters. Anything to distract their attention from us."
He jumps up and runs to his fighter yelling "Get to your fighters! Get to your Fighters!" they all scramble to their the fighters
"Cloak were ti engage the Borg at close range. locate their power sources. Target their transporters. Anything to distract from the ship so they can recover the AT." he says as his canopy closes
The fighters cloak as the fighter bay doors are open, "Attack Pattern vastam" he says then they launch
Fighter Pilot Control "Oria Fighters have lunched"
They head for the Borg Cube and spread out into the vastam attack pattern once they are close to the cube they fire
They had located their Transporters, Weapons array, and power source targeting them they open fire
as they swam around the cube they would fire, the Borg starting firing at them, as the Humans would say the fighters looked fly flys next to the massive Cube
"Keep firring set frequencies to alternate with each shot" he order his gunner "ie, Rekkhai" she replies
The fighters regroup into two groups and set their weapons at different frequencies to start, group 1 20 fighters fire at the power sources then bank off the attack
Group 2 attacks on the other side firing at the Weapons Array then bank off
The fighters keep doing this and changing targets every fighters weapons on a different frequency 20 fighters at a time firring, the Borg Cube's Shields would come on but could not addapt fast enough out of the attack 12 hit the Cube
Their attack was causing little damage to the Borg, but they were doing what was needed distracting the Borg
"By the Elements maybe well get lucky and make it were the ships can cause damage" he says and they keep the attack up

"le Lieh, shields and weapons are on line. Target acquired firing disruptor arrays. And launching torpedoes." Her fire was steady and sure. There were only a few misses. She ran scans and found a developing weakness and started to hammer in that one spot. After a few minutes there was a small explosion as pieces of Borg hull flew out.
Her scans revealed another developing weakness, she immediately began to hammer there. She was hoping the Feddie tac would follow suit. Fire, until there was a breach or hull flew into space and then move quickly giving them only a 2 or 3 minutes to repair and move to the next area. She knew the fighters would be doing the same. So if the Feddie fighters and tac did the same that Borg ship would be theirs. A prize to share and take home.

Small explosions could be seen indicating the fighters presence, though they could not be seen. They were no more than stinging flies, an irritant, but at times such a momentary distraction was all that was needed to keep the attention of an enemy.
Using the adapted radio frequency, she commed t'Stellam.
"We have engaged the Borg. Use your scanning equipment to search out the location within the ship with the least interference and meet there, where we will attempt transport. If you are able, communicate this also to the Aryes team. There is very little time."
This last was said calmly, but there was no mistaking the urgency of it.

After hearing the message from the Commander, Quol grabs his ssaith and walks faster to catch up with the security chief. Sub-Centurion, I have already made appropriate modifications to my ssaith.
He hands her the Romulan scanning device, and points to the rising and falling numbers on the display. As these numbers lessen it indicates a lesser presence of the interference. It's what I used to detect that the engine's power output was increasing. It's actually very interesting the way the interference can be measured. It reminds me of gamma burst radiation. The parallel wave lengths... Quol becomes lost in thought as he continues his technical babble.

"Ie Lhhei", she acknowledged and somewhat forcibly returned the equipment to the engineer, temporarily ending his lecture.
Engineering was large. The drive systems encompassed nearly a third of the ship overall. The green glow that was visible like a second skin on nearly everything had started to expand and pulse and the hum of machinery had grown loud enough to make ordinary conversation difficult. It took a few minutes to locate everyone, internal communications were impossible. Once they had gathered, she and Quol took the lead, Quol guiding them with his modified ssaith and she with her disruptor drawn.

His hands flew over the navigational console, inputting commands as the Riov spoke commands to the Oria saehne-a. As the Ship cloaked, he initiated his commands, moving in close to the Borg cube so Sahen can blast away at it, causing the most damage
While engaging the Borg, he kept an eye on the Federation ship making sure they don't accidentally fly into them while trying to destroy the Borg cube

The scanning device was forcefully shoved back into the Ferengi's hands as he was beginning to talk of harmonic convergence. He found the sub-centurion's brisk manner to be rather rude, but decided against voicing this opinion.
After several moments of leading the team through the interference and around several wrong turns, they finally arrived at what appeared to be the Borg version of a Jeffery's tube. If I am correct, the interference will lessen the higher up we go.

It seemed that at last the Elements had chosen to favor them. The away team had safely reached the outer area of the ship and they were able to achieve a transport lock.
"All fighters return to the ship." She watched as the Aryes began moving away. Rhuissa. That would mean that they had been able to retrieve their team as well."Helm, as soon as the fighters are all reported aboard, take us away from here as quickly as possible. Keep our position between the Borg and the Aryes." One by one all the flight personnel were accounted for. They had not lost a single pilot in the encounter, another sign that surely they be now being favored. The Borg continued firing as they as came closer to Delta III and assumed a standard orbit, but now that both Dhivael and Ayres had ceased their attack, the Borg's appeared to be mainly defensive, cover fire or perhaps now that they had reclaimed the sphere, they were losing interest. Dhivael had sustained some structural damage. Shields had been severely weakened in areas, but had held. She feared what the outcome might have been, had they not had the cloak. There were no reports yet of deaths but a number of minor injuries and several major ones were now coming in. Repair crews had been dispatched to the areas requiring immediate attention. She commed Zareth.
"Subcommander, I will expect you and your team to be ready for debriefing in...."
The violence of the impact knocked her from her chair. Alarms blared in her ears. It took her a moment to realize that she had hit her head on a railing. "Tactical, status report!." She could see the Borg clearly on the viewscreen. They had not moved. One of their defensive volleys must have found them.

"Helm, as soon as the fighters are all reported aboard, take us away from here as quickly as possible. Keep our position between the Borg and the Aryes."
"Ie, Riov" He said as he glanced over his shoulder. He began plotting a course to move away from the Borg cube, following the Federation ship, using a 'weaving' pattern. Meaning, the ship would move from Starboard to port and back again, presenting a moving target, even though the cloak was engaged
Once the report came that the fighters were aboard, he went to initiate his course and speed, but before he could, the ship violently shook and lurched hard to port, throwing him from his station to the deck "Fvadt!" he cursed. He rose quickly to return to his station, ignoring the shooting pain that his knee was giving him. He limped over and sat down, his knee not wanting to bend like it should. Fine, he would keep it straight
He checked the navigation damage reports and reported "Lhhei, Warp drive has been disabled. I am unable to engage warp"

"Engines locked. Ten minutes until activation." Briefly she envisioned herself jumping through time and space along with this ship. The reality of it was sufficient to hasten her pace. They climbed the tube Quol had indicated would most likely take them near the top of the ship. When they had gone as far as they were able, she turned to address the others and was surprised as the Aryes crew members began to shimmer and then dematerialize. She activated her own comm.
"t'Stellam to Dhivael. We are in position." In a moment, they too were transported. She stepped off the pad and was instantly knocked back against the platform. It was an undignified landing but she found she was not injured. She felt the angle of the ship shift momentarily before the compensators corrected. She moved quickly into the corridor. Personnel hurried by her as intent on what they needed to do as she was. Several of the lifts were inoperable. She found one that had been designated for emergency and command use only and ordered it to the Oira.
