Andy Shackleford: To show that the General and I do not like to ovework the crew we will have shore leave
Tarkel London: -nods listening-
Andy Shackleford: However, we are also traditionalists. So you will not be going to Risa or DS9 or anything like that. Instead we are picking a planet
Andy Shackleford: On the border of Breen space. We will send a team to scout it for suitibility

Andrus Wrenn: ::He is in the fighter bay, working on one of the fighters.::
Tarkel London: :pulling back form the helm console logging out of the three diminsional flight console streaching his legs, eyes darting around for something far away to focus on for a moment. Standing after several moments returning the helm
briallajazra has been invited.
Brialla Jazra has entered the room.
Fetch Storm: ::Stepping off the TL a couple minutes later, he would see the Beta shift starting to come on duty::
Tarkel London: tha relief officer for thier duty watch streaching his tired often sore legs arms reaching for the sky in relief pacing some what before finally nodding to the operations relief-
Ranadhira: Computer, end program. ::He said as he walks out of the holodeck. Making his way towards his quarters.::

Tarkel London: several seconds later with a hiss;
Jen A Weslynes: ::looks at the the XO:: Shackleford I think we will need to send a team first. Dr Jazra, Lt Ethan Thames, London, and Wrenn should go and let us know if its ok.

Jen A Weslynes: ::taps on her com:: Lt Christienne, Dr Jaza, Wrenn, and London report to TR1 for scouting party to see if the planet is suitable for our purposes
Fetch Storm: ::takes his own food and heads for a table by the view port, seeing that the ship is entering orbit of a planet::
Brialla Jazra: ::Surprised as she hears her name called on the comm, she presses her com badge:: Jazra here, I'm on my way. ::Picks out a medkit and heads out, after putting her head nurse in charge::

Tarkel London: ;looks up form his work pausing the research as stands and taps his badge smiling when he hears christiennes name in the roll call : at once general. :whistling to himself needlessly and heading to the transporter room;
KieleChristienne: Tarkel, are you adequtely protected? Should we transport to somewhere with less light?
Andrus Wrenn: ::He moved away from the fighter to let another fighter engineer work on the fighter plane and exits out of the fighter bay. Makes his way towards TR1.::
Tarkel London: i'm considering finding the dark side of the planet facing always wonderful to see a new world by the dusks early glow ;flipping out the standard first contact gear checkign the phasers battery power before holstering it: then
Charilegreathous: ::Sees Fetch Storm:: I see we entered orbit
Tarkel London: after dawn sticking to the sheltered glades and wooded areas.. that shoudl make the transition.... less uncomfortable thank you for sonsidering that Kiele
Fetch Storm: ::glances at Charlie:: it seems so
KieleChristienne: You paint a lovely picture. I'm convinced. ::Smiles::
Andrus Wrenn: ::A few moments later, he arrives in TR1.::
Jen A Weslynes: ::As alpha shift ended she got up and went to her office to finish some work.::
Tarkel London: ;smiles to himself softly glancing around as wrenn enters the transporter room: only a picture that is illistrated for cautions sake theres not enough sun screen in all the world should we materialize on some sunny beach front prope
Charilegreathous: Lets hope its better than the planet we left
Fetch Storm: ::his ears droop a little:: I hope so as well
Ranadhira: ::He enters into his quarters and went over to the replicator to order himself a drink that looks semi greenish-blueish color with a slight cinnimon smell.::
Charilegreathous: The last mission was tiring
KieleChristienne: I didn't have time to do a planetary scan. Not sure exactly what we can expect.
Fetch Storm: I was useless on that mission.
Tarkel London: :clears his throat and takes his place on the pad nodding to the others gathered: ready as i'll ever be I imagine ; pulling the cowl tight over his head: thats alll part of the fun though Kiele wheres your sense of adventure?
Charilegreathous: we had no idea it was that hot and our suties were detritate
Fetch Storm: we should have taken better sensor readings, especially when we were in the cave
Brialla Jazra: ::She soon arrives at the transporter room and comes up onto the pad and takes her spot:: What do we know about this planet, so far?
Ranadhira: ::He steps onto the PADD.:: Your guess is good as mine.
Ranadhira: ( Wrong window.. my bad. )
Andrus Wrenn: ::He steps onto the PADD.:: Your guess is good as mine.
Charilegreathous: The energy wave was interfing I never picked up the what detried the suties
KieleChristienne: Adventure is nice, so is preparation. ::Takes her place on the pad::
Fetch Storm: I was thankful to be out of that suit
Ranadhira: ::He's takes his drink and takes a gulp as he makes his way over into his bedroom.::
Tarkel London: the 6 p,s of success ya say?:chuckles from under his cowled head adjusting his shades androbes;
Charilegreathous: yes but that sutie keep you cool
Brialla Jazra: ::She quirks a brow at Kiel, surprised:: Adventure is nice, as is the preparation. The perils are the rough side.
Fetch Storm: yes, it did.. but i also could not use the full exent of my senses
Charilegreathous: true but even they would not have picked that up
Brialla Jazra: Speaking of adventures, I need to see if I can find time to send correspondence with my brother
KieleChristienne: I'd like to hear exactly what went on done there rather than just the pieces that pass through the bridge.
KieleChristienne: done=down
Tarkel London: :taps his com: Bridge team assembled and ready for transportation
Fetch Storm: we had additional tricorders, did we not?
Andrus Wrenn: ::He makes sure that his phaser is at the right setting.::
Tarkel London: i'm sure you can read the full report for yourself Kiele its bound to be on public file for bridge officers at the very least
Charilegreathous: yes but none picked it up
Brialla Jazra: ::Pulls out her medical tricorder and a standard science tricorder:: I got mine, as well as a phaser, which I hope I don't have to use for target practice down there
Jen A Weslynes: ****Action the team is transported to the surface*****
Andrus Wrenn: @ ::He is transported down to the surface.::
Charilegreathous: ::eats his food::
Fetch Storm: ::nods, then shrugs:: we didn't find anything because there was most likely nothing to find ::takes a bite of his steak::
Brialla Jazra: @ ::Looks around as the beam releases her, and immediately pulls her medical tricorder and starts scanning around::
Tarkel London: @smiling tohimself : see thenight side of the planet I have a good five hours from my guess to explore everything here till it gets bright :nodding to himself flipping out the sceince tricorder; intresting its a 36 houor cycle here
Charilegreathous: true. at least we all came back alive
Andy Shackleford: ACTION: The planet looks like a tropical rain forest with waterfalls and hills and lots of trees
Tarkel London: based on planet size and speed of rotation near earth gravities though about .3 percent heavier from the mass calculations
Andrus Wrenn: ::He takes out his phaser and tricoder out. Then begins to scan the area.::
Fetch Storm: ::simply nods in agreement, taking a drink of his Ayrag::
Andrus Wrenn: *@
Brialla Jazra: @ ::She whistles softly, it having a very melodious sound to it:: Adventures, indeed, lieutenant...
KieleChristienne: @this is beautiful. I wonder why it hasn't been colonized yet.
Tarkel London: @very lush under growth and strata materials plenty of natural cover though the roots dont run to deep reminds me of a rain forest the climate here over night even is delightful
Brialla Jazra: @ I wonder that, too... ::Starts scanning around, and pays keen attention to her tricorder scanner::
Tarkel London: @likely something in the water of the flora lets check around theres bound to be something here that would turn away regular colonists
Andrus Wrenn: @ ::To Kiele.:: The planet may be hiding something that no one has yet discovered.
Brialla Jazra: @ REcommend that nobody touches anything until it's been checked for safety.
Andrus Wrenn: @ Agreed. ::He continues to scan.::
Brialla Jazra: @ I would hate for anyone to get sick down here on my watch... ::Holds back a giggle as she continues her scans::
KieleChristienne: @ Why do I have the feeling that if there is something unusual here, we're going to be the lucky ones to find it? ::Laughs::
Tarkel London: Lt.Jg. T'Leynti thats why she sent the navy don,t ya know ?:scanning the treelines for signs of life forms
Andrus Wrenn: @ Because it always happens to us.
Tarkel London: @navy exuals cheap disposable and dirty easy to write us off Kiele mariens on so precious and useful and agreed wrenn is wlays happens to us :panning his phaser low cautiously exploring taking hs shades off the dark perfect in this
Brialla Jazra: @ ::Walks off a little bit, about 10 yards away, in a standard search pattern:: So far, so good.. Plenty of flora that is comparable to most of the Menshara-class planets I've been to.
KieleChristienne: I can understand too why someone might be distacted by all this and perhaps let down their guard. This is some of the most magnificent natural areas I've even seen. Comparable to Risa.
KieleChristienne: ever*
Brialla Jazra: @ ::Gets out one sample container to take a soil sample, and then another to get a sample of the vegetation, using her tweezers::
Charilegreathous: ::Finishes his meal:: think I'll go to my quarters
Brialla Jazra: @ Atmosphere is slightly richer in oxygen than Earth, or Trill, for that matter.
Tarkel London: @;glancing around : seems almost perfect to me yes the place is almost distracting no natives plenty of plant life water everywhere more than enough air to breath this is almost eden well for the moment though i've yet to see it und
Fetch Storm: I shall stay here
KieleChristienne: @might be wise to take an atmospheric sample also. There may be airborne organisms.
Tarkel London: under the light of the sun this could be the perfect place for some shoreleave assuming there is nothing hostile in the toxicology : shinning up a nearby tree for a wider look at the land;
Brialla Jazra: @ ::Already working on that:: Recommend when we decide to beam up, that we go through full decontamination, as a safety precaution
Charilegreathous: ::heads to his quarters::
Brialla Jazra: @ No recognizeable atmospheric anomalies.... yet...
KieleChristienne: @the transporter should filter out anything that doesn't belong in the pattern but yes, I think decon is a good idea.
Tarkel London: :glancing down from the tree his science tricorder the only glow around his darkened form: forest as far as the eye can see from here ;yelling back to the others;
Brialla Jazra: @ Strange... I haven't come across any signs of animal life... Insects, birds, or anything else...
Charilegreathous: ::Enters his Quarters and lays on his bed::
KieleChristienne: @i suppose it's possible, though unlikely that anumal life hasn't evolved here.
Brialla Jazra: @ ::Presses her com badge:: Jazra here, sir. I'm about 25 yards from our beam-down position.
Tarkel London: I donlt hear anything either :leaping out of the tree tops and standing upright; but if you will recall many planets developed plant and vegitation first then later harbored life
KieleChristienne: @ We should at least expect single cell organisms
KieleChristienne: @but there's something unerving about dusk without insect life.
Brialla Jazra: @ ::Shakes her head slowly, her hair pulled back into a ponytail, revealing her spots on her neck and the sides of her face:: One would think there'd be primates here... ::Stops, swearing she heard something::
Brialla Jazra: @ ::Swings around with her tricorder pointed upward, toward the treetops::
Andy Shackleford: ACTION; Something akin to an earth boar comes charging out of the bush::
Andrus Wrenn: @ ::He takes aim and shoots at it.::
Tarkel London: @hmmm no insects that is most unusual even in the dark side of remus there are always insects:making a fast break in front of the others growling at the oncoming bear like critter ahd producing his phaser fast shooting along with wr
Brialla Jazra: @ ::Jumps a bit:: I've got a biosign.. and it's moving, FAST
KieleChristienne: @::Steps up to scan the animal::
KieleChristienne: Quite unusual that something this advanced should be here.
Brialla Jazra: @ ::Moves slowly, drawing her own phaser:: It's big, too... similar in size to a Terran boar
Andy Shackleford: :::::LAST LINES:::::::::
Andrus Wrenn: @ ::He keeps his phaser on the boar like creature.::
Brialla Jazra: @ ::Slowly approaches, and starts scanning it, having a moderate knowledge of animals for veternary work::
Tarkel London: @#stapping back taking a knee to examine its general bio;logical nature and appearance; well that was some what voilent
KieleChristienne: @probably just scared. Tarkel most likely flushed it out.
Brialla Jazra: @ ::Purses her lips as she scans the creature, as she gets some very interesting readings::
Tarkel London: @;smiles tto himself lightly; well its best we discovered something like it now as oppsoed to after someones children started playing in the glades and hills
