Andy Shackleford: =========RESUME SIM========
Andy Shackleford: Lieutenants Greathouse and Ranadhira, I'll need you in the General's office
Ranadhira: [MCO] +T+ [XO] On my way, sir.
Charilegreathous: ::had just reentered the bridge:: Yes Sir
Jen A Weslynes: ::She is in her office looking over reports::
Andy Shackleford: Lieutenants London, Christienne You can work on the analysis of the sand crystals
Ranadhira: ::He returns back onto the bridge and makes his way towards the General's Office.::
Andy Shackleford: Lieutenant Thames, you get cleanup duty
Andrus Wrenn: ::He is on the fighter deck. Keeping an update of the fighter reports.::
Charilegreathous: ::heads toward the Generals Office::
ltethanthames: Yes sah ::Orders some of his Engineers to make sure the bridge is free of any conaminates
Tarkel London: :nods to himself observing the patterns and the eb and flow of the starfields around himturning to Kiele: so I understand our assistance is needed on some further project?
KieleChristienne: These crystals need analysis and since they're of Iconian design, I expect it to be fairly complicated.
Charilegreathous: ::waites for Andy before entering the Office::
Ranadhira: ::He waits as well.::
Tarkel London: intresting;rising form the console shutting down thedisplays; don,t Iconian crystals store movement and energy to return it later in various forms?
Andy Shackleford: ::He walks by both men and enters knowing the General is waiting for them::
Charilegreathous: ::Enters after Andy, nods to the General::
Ranadhira: ::He enters right after Andy.::
Ranadhira: ::He then saluates the General and goes to attention.::
Jen A Weslynes: ::returns salutes::
Jen A Weslynes: Gentlemen have a seat
KieleChristienne: That seems to be the general idea but these work together in a manner I've never seen before. Rather than a single force they work kinetically.
Charilegreathous: ::Takes a seat::
Charilegreathous: ::looks at the General and Andy waiting for them to start::
Andy Shackleford: :::Sits down and waits for them to do the ame
Ranadhira: ::He takes a seat.::
Jen A Weslynes: (already seated)
Tarkel London: :nodding ; very intresting so these things are in constant motion then?
Andy Shackleford: Alright gentleman, go ahead and brief us on what happened on planet.
KieleChristienne: Judging by what was reported and observed on the planet's surface, there's some sort of catalyst and the crystals respond en masse, growing in power and resembling a sand storm. What we don't know is what they're capable {more}
Charilegreathous: Well we got caught in a sand storm, made are way to a cave were the sand buried the enterces
Charilegreathous: The Doc became ill, me a Fetch storm serched the caves will the rest stayed with the doc
KieleChristienne: of individually and how are they produced or reproduce. We could be looking at a serious problem here if one of them is all that's needed to contaminate our systems.
Charilegreathous: the cave was wiredm the sand wasn't natural, and and energry wave traveled the walls
Charilegreathous: ::thinks for a moment:: We found an aliean structre, the sky turend red,we enterd a buliding that kind of looked like a temple
Tarkel London: then perhaps we should collect a few samples of the models and isolate them from teh chain of resources and develop e a method to study them test and push thier limits
Charilegreathous: had to get out of our EV suites they were detriating, the heat in the cave made fetch get over welmed from it, all that fur
KieleChristienne: We have two. The away team brought back isolated samples and what they carried with them on their EV suits. We should be able to study the effects of both.
Charilegreathous: we found a insigny from toxic squad, equipment to the weapon, but not the weapon
Andy Shackleford: Whoa there Marine, right now we can't even be sure there was a weapon on that planet. Lets just stick to the facts of the matter
Charilegreathous: and some crystals, then were beamed back to the bridge
Charilegreathous: thats the rough outline to it, did I miss anything Rana
Tarkel London: then we need to build containment and isolation for thier experimentations
Ranadhira: You just about covered it all.
Andy Shackleford: How would you evaluate the performance of the other team members?
Charilegreathous: They all did great, Ethan was neverous at my layback demintier, but he did good for his frist away mission
Charilegreathous: well the doc and fetch did tell they passed out
KieleChristienne: I assume or at least I hope that when the away team went to Sickbay, their suits were automatically isolated. However I understood that the crystals had a caustic effect on the suits but no effect on the planet's natural environment
KieleChristienne: I hope also then that the effect hasn't transerred to anything here it might consider "synthetic".
Andy Shackleford: Okay, thank you gentleman. the two of you can take three hours RR to get your heads back in the game. I would like to speak to the General in private. If I could Ma'am?
Jen A Weslynes: Of course. Good work you two.
Andrus Wrenn: Was only doing what I was called to do, Ma'am.
Charilegreathous: Thank you Ma'ma
Andrus Wrenn: ( wrong box. lol
Ranadhira: Was only doing what I was called to do, Ma'am.
Andrus Wrenn: ( That is what I get for using Trillan. lol )
Charilegreathous: ::Stands up and then leaves::
Ranadhira: ::He stands up and leaves.::
Charilegreathous: Sorry Rana I get nerveus at those debrefing and yammer ::he says after the door closes::
Charilegreathous: And don't let other speak
Tarkel London: hmmm well if the environment is clean and clear there should be no harm of cross contamination or danger of cross penetration
Ranadhira: You were head of the away team. You should be the one to report it anyways.
Jen A Weslynes: ::looks at Andy:: You wanted to talk to me?
Charilegreathous: I don't know about you, but I could use a beer
KieleChristienne: I'm not too sure of that. Until decontamination is finished, we need to be very careful.
Andy Shackleford: Yes, I don't know what to do next. The trail is I've run out of excuses
Tarkel London: then we shoudl start shipwide decon procedures and research further isolation anything could be at risk and in danger of further trouble
Ranadhira: A good swim would do better for me.
ltethanthames: ::He sends out a shipwide message that all areas have been scanned and cleaned of any contaminates
ltethanthames: ::
Jen A Weslynes: The trail is cold for the moment. Did you think the trinity would leave sign posts or a roster? They are more then a few steps ahead of us. We need to continue to catch up and we will.
Charilegreathous: ::Enters the TL:: well have fun
Andy Shackleford: I have being on step behind, its infuriating. Marines want to charge hard not wait in the weeds, but I understand what you are saying
KieleChristienne: ::Nods:: We can at least find out what's working and what isn't. I'd hate to think what would happen if even a small swarm got loose.
Andy Shackleford: Hate*
Jen A Weslynes: We need to keep a record of everything we have discovered and know thus far. And try to find a weak link. Every organization has one.
Andy Shackleford: Right now we don't even have a full link just part of one. One thing that Greathouse speculated that is scary. Them with armed with Iconian technology
Jen A Weslynes: This is the way of terrorist, and since there is flag, no identifiable world, no uniform, nothing to say hey. So we need to figure it what is
Ranadhira: ::He makes his way towards the holodeck.::
Jen A Weslynes: I doubt they have that. Even the best minds have not figured it out with the best equiptment. And that is what we have over them.
Tarkel London: :nodding silentlypulling the cowl over his head protectively: then we should start deck by deck isolation plans and procedures theres no code book for this so we have to play it on the slide as they say; turning to the operations
Tarkel London: panel studying the area-
Andy Shackleford: They only need to figure out how to use something. Never underestimate what can be done under durest. Our best inventions came under the pressure or need.
Charilegreathous: ::Heads to the lounge::
Jen A Weslynes: As we are also, the need to get and keep ahead before this blows up in our faces.
KieleChristienne: Here and anywhere between here and Sickbay. Just thinking about it makes me feel phantom creepy crawlies.
KieleChristienne: "And" anyone who passed through those areas could have spread them further. Lt Thames, how goes the cleanup efforts?
ltethanthames: I did a clean sweep if there something here its beyoond our sensors, but let me tell you something. Be careful with that stuff it gives me the creeps. I think it doesn't just react to its own energy but that of others.
Tarkel London: :nods; wonderful then onto researching thiese delightful little buggers kinetic energy you say energy oin motion
Charilegreathous: ::Enters the lounge and sets down at the bar::
Ranadhira: ::He enters into the holodeck and brings a program up of his home world. Changes his clothes and begins to swim.::
KieleChristienne: You can count on careful. ::Scratches the back of her neck::
ltethanthames: Even more, them things made the Sivoan forget how to track, They scared the fearless Cantonian. Have either of you heard of what they called a 'fad' back in the 20the called 'mood rings'?
Tarkel London: careful there Kiele I think my sensors jsut flashed might have oen on ya -chuckles to himself darkly-
KieleChristienne: They worked by changing color according to body temperature I believe.
KieleChristienne: ::Scowls at Tarkel :: If they feed on energy, what we need is is someting that will draw the energy away from them.
Tarkel London: hmmm then we could look into modified energy distortion waves and intermitttant distortion fields
Andy Shackleford: ======LAST LINES=============
Tarkel London: suspended animation lets get one in and drop it to absolute zero in a secured science lab and tinker with it a little
Charilegreathous: ::Sits desiding what to get::
KieleChristienne: Sounds like a reasonable place to start to me.
Tarkel London: and a start is all we can hope for
