She was on her way to the hanger bay but then thought The Captain never said I had to jump right down there. Computer change destination to Blackedge Cove. The computer beeped the lift stopped and changed direction a few moments later the doors open and she left the TL. The doors to the bar opened as she walked in she took a seat at the other end of the bar so she could see anyone who walked in.
She put down some gold pieces and looked at the barkeeper. Bottle of your strongest Vodka a glass and some slices of lime. The bar tender nodded and took the gold and then brought what she asked. she poured her self a glass and started to drink and started to sing a song in Russian.
I hurt myself today To see if I still feel I focus on the pain The only thing that's real The needle tears a hole The old familiar sting Try to kill it all away But I remember everything.....

Asano had stopped in the lounge. He had been busy going over all Ship's functions and Operations, getting his team on proper track and setting a faster pace for them. he decided it was time to have his first meal aboard ship.
He ordered a plate of Sashimi, a bowl of Unagi Don, and a Bowl of Seaweed salad. along with a bottle of Sake.
He chose a secluded area of the room where he could eat in peace and solitude.
Th smell of the fish only served to take his mind back to Okinawa.
As a young boy, brought to his Aunt and Uncle after losing his parents, He would begin his training. To his dismay, he was not allowed to do any Karate excersizes. He had to come to the Dojo and begin scrubbing the wooden floors before the other students came to train.
He go no preferential treatment for being the Sensei's Nephew. If anything, his uncle was harder on him, than the other boys. Many of them would sneak off and leave the compound in the dark of night. The sensors went off when they did, but Sensei would let them go. They did not want to learn badly enough, or some thought they were being hoodwinked into free labor.
When he finished the Floors, He would begin washing the student's Ghi's Their uniforms. There was no technology here. He had to do it by hand with an ancient tool called a washboard. the way it had been done in centuries past.
Once he hung the last of them onto the clothesline, Mamasan Would be waiting for him in the kitchen where he began to clean fish. Though she was his Aunt, No one but the Master called her anything but Mamasan.
If Asano had gotten sloppy, or showed fatigue in his chores, it usually meant getting whacked across the upper back with a bamboo stick.
While washing the dishes, the Master would sneak up behind him, smacking his rump with the same stick, then would smile and leave.
Bu sundown he would collapse unconcious onto the Tatami where he slept.
One day. Something changed. He had endured this lifeltyle for nearly a year, but one day something different happened.
When Sensei came to sneak up on him while washing dishes, though he possesed great stealth, Asano was now able to "sense" him coming. it was as if he had eyes in the back of his head. When the Sensei struck, this time he whirled away, avoiding the blow.
The Master looked at him scornfully for a moment, and then suddenly began to laugh. Then he motioned for Asano to follow him to the Dojo, and put on a uniform.
He then began to lead Asano through his first form.

She entered the Cove, not liking how the volume suddenly dropped to nothing as all eyes were docused on her, curiousity abound as the other patrons were curious who had entered
The noise volume returned to normal a few moments later, some curious thoughts turning to lewd ones as some of the male residents thaought she was an easy mark
Sending a sharp mental blast into their mind gave them pause and thought better to think her an easy mark
She then moved toward the bar, getting the attention of the tender. She ordered some Uttaberry wine when he came over and some Oskoid wraps. Once she got them, she turned and found a secluded and shadowed corner to sit in

She entered the Cove, coming from the Infirmary. Some of the off duty officers were in attendance, some she recognized, others she didn't. As she walked up to the bar, she heard some of the murmurings that were said as she passed by "Look" "Her inhibitor's gone" and various other comments
She walked up to the bar, the barkeep stepping over to her. "Doc Barton says first rounds on the house, he's paying."
Barkeep nods "He just called down to confirm that."
Very well, I feel like celebrating. I'll have a whiskey on the rocks." She turned and addressed the rest of the patrons. First rounds on the house, compliments of our dear doctor!" A round of cheers went up. She then added Second round's on the house too, this time on me." Another cheer went up, then she added a last time I don't intend to make this a habit so don't get used to it." A few laughs is heard as some patrons came up and ordered their choice of beverage

She was sitting at the Bar having a whiskey when Britt came in she looked over at her a noticed the inhibitor was gone, she takes a drink and thinks its been 30 days all ready.
She lifted her glass to Britt when she said the doctor was buying the first round and her the second round, she looked to the bar keep "Two Whiskeys strait" she could not help but laugh to her self about it.

"Champagne with a splash of raspberry liqueur." She ordered, then raised the glass in a celebratory gesture.
"Congratulations lieutenant. " She took a sip then used the edge of a linen napkin to dab a ruby droplet from the corner of her mouth. "What precisely are we celebrating?

She noticed Tracy about the same time she looked over and saw her. She was in a good mood and didn't want it to be spoiled by talking to tracy. She took a sip of her whiskey when the barkeep brought it over, Britt also catching some of Jones' thoughts. She glanced at the Security woman "Yes, it has been 30 days already. I had the inhibitor removed as soon as the 30 day limit expired."
Another voice reached her ears. Relatively new but also familiar. Commander Fleury, Dominique, the new First Officer. Now that her inhibitor is off, she can do what she wanted to do: Empathically scan Dominique. She smiled, mostly because she liked what she felt from the other woman, the other: to answer her question of what is being celebrated The removal of the Inhibitor I was wearing for the past 30 days, so ordered by the Captain to punish me for disposing of the last First Officer. I know the Captain wanted to do it, so I saved him the trouble."

"A soft punishment, to tell you he approved of the result, even if he did not condone your initiative. I understand you knew Sloan 'intimately'. No doubt you had your own reasons for doing as you did. I imagine the Capitaine was only annoyed with you for having deprived him of his amusement. "
"Again..congratulations and I hope that there will be no such violent end to 'our' relationship."
She toasted Keyren once more and drained the glass.

She smiled at Dominiqe "Of course, he punished me and rewarded me at the same time." She pointed to her Lt Insignia "Plus I had the pleasure of delivering his corpse to his next of kin. With the inhibior, what doesn't kill me only makes me stronger." She then looked and sounded bored talking about the "relationship" with the former first officer "Yes, we knew each other intimately but he really wasn't all that impressive. He only thought he was good in bed so I made him think he was. He wasn't even good enough for the Captain's dagger."
She nodded as Fleury congradulated her again, she listening as the commander added that she hoped that there will not be such a violent end to their 'relationship' "Well, don't cross me or make me look bad and I am sure our relationship will remain on good terms." With that, she winked at Fleury, taking another sip of her whiskey

She sat drinking her drink, as she survived the room, She had noticed Cmdr Fleury had entered the room, and started talking to Britt.
She ordered another drink and smiled at a ensign, she was a cute brunet, and had a nice figure Tracy took her drink and walked over.

She nodded a non-committal acknowledgment to Keyren's wink.
On duty or off, Dominique had a one drink limit. Dulled senses were a liability. She placed the glass on the bar-top and observed the bridge crew members in attendance. They would react far more casually in this setting and she could learn more than she might when they were constrained by formality.
Jones, the Security Chief, was stalking prey. Her steely smile was fixed on a young ensign.
Others were similarly engaged in conversation. A few sat alone, like herself, and observed. She wondered how this compared to the lounge on the lower decks and decided an "informal" inspection was in order.
She slid from the chair. No time like the present.
