Captain's Office/Ready Room

[Captain Jeff Addison]

He leaned in to Evan even though they were along in his office. "Inside that case," He spoke in a low tone. "Is an object of power. More power than anything I've ever head of."

[Dr Evan Barton(Lt Commander)]

He looked at Addision as if he were seeing a 'Nova' addict. "Captain," He said as if he were talking to a child. "I don't know what you think is in there, but I'm not sure its what you think it is. What exactly did that thing do to you?"

[Captain Jeff Addison]

"Understood, but how did you know that I was going to visit the head of Imperial Intelligence, when no one but myself was informed?" He regarded her with suspicious stare.

[Lt. Tracy Jones]

She looks at the Captain " Commodore Simon Von Doring of Imperial Intelligence is the Commanding Officer of this Station, I would not be much of a chife of security if I didn't know were my Ranking Officers were she says And with Imperial Regs you would see him frist" she adds

"You would do well, to keep those assumptions to yourself, Lieutenant." He warned. "You are a good officer who's best trait is a lack of certain moral compunctions, but not irreplaceable. The lesson you should learn today is that in the Empire, information is a commodity. One should be frugal with it."

[Lt. Tracy Jones]

She bows her head to the Captain "Of Course my Captain, Lesson learned she looks back at the Captain I will keep Sloan's quarters sealed till you can get to it" she adds

"I will allow you one gift." He smiled realizing this officer was young and sometimes over zealous. "You may pick one thing from his quarters to keep. I don't imagine he had much, but if you find something of value sentimental or otherwise its yours. You are now dismissed Jones."

She Salutes the Captain "You are most generous Captain" She the turns on her heals and leaves

The meeting was good not great. Addison still had abdominal soreness from the sever stun. He would never show the crew nor his new Executive officer. He saw her looking through the reports. She looked as if she were looking for something. It had only now occurred to him that he hadn't really 'met' his new first officer. He had talked to her, but his horrible history with Sloan had put him on his guard. "So what do you think?" He finally said.

[Cmdr Dominique Fleury]

"Interesting." She replied. "I was curious to see who would write a factual report and who might decide to add a little personal embellishment. Keyren is obviously very pleased with herself but not happy to have had her choices curtailed by Commander Nitobe, as she made the effort to note that he denied her choice of target. I would have agreed however. There is little reward in killing those who are already sick or injured."

"I think too that you are correct about the Vulcans. This was a poor plan. Had is been properly and logically thought out, they would have been more successful. The fact that is was not, is illogical. I suspect they want us to feel as if we have won this time and will not consider them a serious threat, though the cost to them to set up this farce was very high. If they were willing to sacrifice so much now, what they hope to achieve must be very valuable indeed."

"I agree, and furthermore I think there are more than Vulcans behind this." He was impressed by her keen assessment of the reports after only a cursory look. "I would like to meet you for dinner. I intend to avail myself of of one Captains privilege I have yet to use. I will meet you in the Captains dining room."
