A flash of white transporter lights as the transporter completes a transport bringing Field Marshal Jenina Weslynes, and her aide. They have just retuned form Parallels the allies to the United Forces, and where Jarius was stationed, with the same massage
"It is with a very heavy heart I come here today. " :: sighs and sniffles as she fights back the tears::
I will be returning to Betazed for a few days then I will return. My bondmate, my Imzadi, my one true love for all time, Jarius Weslynes died in a battle with Dominion forces. I have already made the preliminary arrangements for his..... :: takes a deep breath:: burial rites.
As with all couples in the military we spoke of this and its possibility. To be honest, I always believed it would be me who would die first. The Marine, but that was not the case. To those of you who's life he has touched, may you find peace.
Those who wish to attend may do so. I will have one of my people come back with the final arrangements later today or tomorrow.
:: Her voice brakes and she is lead to the transporter padd by her aide.::
:: He taps on his comm badge:: Cpl. Winters to Marine HQ, two to beam out.
In a flash of lights they leave.

I would like to take this time to thank everyone for you kind words, support and prayers. This is a most difficult time for me and I could not get passed it, if it were not for all of you.
No Fleet General has ever been as blessed as I have been.
Flt General Jenina Weslynes
