In the stillness of a late Night Julius sat in the executives ready room. still quiet and humid as the assignment came thru loud and clear.
USS Travious This is fleet comand sorry for the early dispatch the lack of warning and promptness of this mission. However the Federation protectorate world Tavius Four has requested immediate aid medical supplies research divisions and a fully stocked armory and replicator replacements,As you may or may not be aware protectorate worlds get top priority They are first in line to join the Federation We have elected to dispatch the Travious to protect thier best intrests Please prepare for departure at once.

Kyah pulls up information on the planet in question after Commander Delor described the mission. She was rather shocked he had picked her to be acting executive officer... she stays in her ops chair, not wanting to even think about the big chair for the XO that sat in the middle of the bridge.
She glances around the bridge, waiting for the Commander to come and give further instructions.

Reentering from his briefing and taking the big chair the CO,s seat the nice leather one with all the command functions built in " Helm hail starbase 234 for set up and undocking procedures set course to tavious 4 as soon as we clear moorings"
Smirks to himself as the procedure of getting underway begins. Tilting his head slightly to the side noticing the ops officer at her station. "Wel;l this should be an intresting test a ship without her captain I dare say if it can hold up under this mission we can face anything"

Reading the report back in Sickbay "its an Upper Respiratory Infection they have Bronchitis" she says as she reads its "Their Medical planet is down so they can't make antibiotics to fight it" she reads she puts down the file and exits her office
"OK listen up people we need to start making lots of antibiotics for Tavius VI they have a Bronchitis outbreak and their plants down so they can't make it, lets get to it people" she orders as they go about making the antibiotics up

Thomas smiled over at Kyah as she congradulated him on his promotion. "Thank you.", he replied to her. Then he turned his attentioned towards Cmdr Delor and listened to the orders that Cmdr Delor had for them to do. Waited his turn to find out what his orders were.
"Sergeant Kinsley continue training your marines in preparation for any conflicts we may encounter.", Cmdr Delor said to Sgt Kinsely.
Thomas gave a nod when he heard his orders. "Yes, sir.", he replied to Cmdr Delor. He continued to listen for any further instructions before they were all dismissed. Once they were dismissed, he made his way over to the turbo lift. "Marine deck.", he replied to the TL computer. Only moments later did the turbo lift stopped and he exited out onto the marine deck. He walked down the corridor and into the Marine Armory. The marines quickly scrambled into line as Thomas walked closer to them.
"We are currently heading to Tavious IV for medical aide. We will continue with your training in preparation for any conflicts that might come about.", he said to them.

"The ship isn't without a captain, you are the captain sir. At least for the moment, perhaps longer." She looks back at Thomas as he leaves the bridge.
She monitors the ship's status as they break free from the Starbase and go out under their own power for the first time. "Umbillicals are detatched. Power is steady. Engines are ready. The tractor beams are disengaging... and we are free." She smiles

As he was finishing up with final preparations before launch, Grabfoot heard the order that all senior staff to report to the bridge. Since he was already on the bridge, he stayed put and watched as the others reported in as ordered
He listened to the commander as he explained what our first mission is and where the Trevious would be going. As Lt Kinsely piloted the ship out from her moorings, he commented to Commander Delor
"I shall prepare a security detail in case something unexpected should arise"
He then opened an intership comm-link "All Security Personnal, report to my office in 5 minutes for a meeting. Acting Security Chief GrabFoot Of Two Dawns out" He then left the bridge on his way to the security deck
Four Minutes later, he stepped into his Security Office for the second time and watched as the already assembled security teams conversing with each other as if waiting for the meeting to start. A few pairs of eyes turned his way and he saw the surprised expressions register on their faces "Attention!" He called out. It took a couple seconds for them to realize that he was the Security cheif and scramble around and form into a line
"First Off.." he started to say as he walked down the mewly assembled line of officers "..This is mostly likely the first time that some of you have seen a member of my race. I am an Eeiauoan." As he reached the far end of the line, he heard someone on the near end whisper to his buddy "We have a fur ball for an acting security chief"
He walked back down the line and stood in front of the young ensign, fixing him with a fierce stare as his tail whipped "Do you have a problem with me being Acting Security Cheif, Ensign?!
The Ensign snapped to attention and answered with a "Y-you're a cat, sir"
His ears laid back against his head as he answered "Very observant of you, Ensign that I am a Feline. Now, if you wish to keep those eyes in your head, You will refrain from insulting me further. You can always put in a request for transfer but in the meantime, Listen up!"
The Ensign just gulped and meekly said "Yes, Sir"!
He then addressed the assembles as a whole"The Trevious is heading to Tavious VI for a mission of medical assistance. I know not what to expect but I am preparing for the unexpected. I will be sending security teams down with Medical teams in case something should happen. In the meantime, I want you all to further your training with Sgt Kinsely, The Marine Commander as I have duties on the bridge to attend to. Understood?
A collective "Yes, Sir" is heard from the assembled group
"Good. Teams 2, 4, 6, and 8 Report to Sgt Kinsely for training. Teams 1, 3, 5, and 7 continue your normal training and rotate with the other teams when your shift ends. Dismissed! "
He watches as the assembeled line fall out and then do as he instructed. He turned and left his office, tapping his comm badge as he walked down the corridor "Lt GrabFoot Of~Two Dawns to Sgt Kinsely. I am sending some security teams down to you to train with your marines. Does this meet with your approval?"
As he waited for his response, he stepped into a TL and headed back to the bridge

"very well Kyah set course travious four best speed and engage brakes thru the shipping lanes if ya don,t mind and watch your course" Turning from her tapping the com on his chair " Doctor davenport how are those medical perparations coming? I understand theres something respritory involved here a passing catchable condition humans are weak sometimes" Listening as the doors hiss open seeing Grabfoot enter" Grabfoot good this place could use some secutiry we should be arriving in roughly six days at warp 9 though we will not be able to run that speed the whole time i'm awaiting calculations" "remembering something Kyah said "oh and Kyah this ships only got a commander but if math serves me right a commander plus a marine 2nd lt make a captain perhaps we will do fine as long as we stick together"

Re-entering the bridge, having just came from the security deck, he'd focus his light green eyes on Commander Delor as he spoke his name. He'd nod in his direction as he heard what he said, replying
"I've already alerted security teams to the situation and they will be transporting down with the medical teams that will be sent down in case something unexpected should happen. I have them training with Sgt Kinsely's Marine teams in shifts until we get there"
He then steps over to the Tactical console to get checks sensors, and keeping an ear out for Delor's response. He was also waiting to hear from Sgt Kinsely as well

Kyah does the ETA calculations, also knowing that warp 9 for 6 days wouldn't work. "We will be able to sustain warp 8, and it will take only 3 days longer to travel the distance, sir. It will be less than 9 standard days if we intersperse warp 9 when available, of course."
She looks back at Grabfoot for a moment, wondering if he had understood the commander's logic about a commander plus a 2nd Lt.

Thomas just finished debriefing his men and gave orders to some of them to head over towards the training area while the others were on their shift. He lifted his head a bit when he heard LtJg Grab Foot of~Two Dawns over his commbadge.
=T= "Yes, sir, it does.", he replied to him.
He turned to see some of the security teams that was ordered there and smirked as they all gotten into line.
=T= "Matter in fact, they just walked in.", he continued to say.
Thomas walked up to them once they finished getting into line. Stared at each one of them one by one. "I do believe you all are looking for me. Once we will get started, we will start training in details for boarding and also in marine/security away mission details."

Checking on the progress she sees they will have enough antibiotics for the whole planet population by time they arrive at it
"Lets make sure their enough to give to the crew, and leave 400,000 douses for the planet tell they recover" she says as they work to make the antibiotics
"=T= Dr. Reeba to Commander Delor the antibiotics will be ready enough for all the people, Also it will be best when we arrive if all the crew received shots to avoid getting sick from it" she reports

She was on the Terrasect when her transfer orders came in and she wasted little time making it down to Transporter two and transported over
She then asked for directions to the bridge and went to the nearest TL and ordered it to take her to the bridge. It didn't take her that much time but as she found out, it took took much time.
She entered the bridge in time to hear another female, as she looked over, she seen she was human, state that it will take 3 days longer travel at warp 8 to get somewhere. Her ears drooped as she realized the ship has already left and she barely made it. She then glanced around and saw a male that looked like her, with fur and a tail and assumed it was GrabFoot Of Two Dawns. She walked over to him and handed him a PADD and the looked around and saw the ugly looking commander. She merely shook her head and walked around and up to him, saluting and going to attention
"Lt Tail-Kinker To~Eeiauo reporting in as your new Tactical and Acting Security Cheif. That one there.." She would then use her tail and point at GrabFoot "..has been transferred to the Terrasect and I'm here to take his place"
She then awaited a response

He heard Sgt Kinsely say that he approved of his security pans and the security teams that he assigned to train with Kinsely had arrived. He then heard Lt Kinsely report that at warp 8, it will take 3 days longer to reach Tavious VI and then he heard the TL doors open. His ears flicked back in surprise as a Sivaoan female with Tan-colored fur exit the TL and look around.
He watched as her ears drooped at the report Lt Kinsely made and then look his direction, walk over and hand him a PADD. He started reading it as she turned and reported to Commander Delor that she transferred from the Terrasect amd is now reporting in as the new Tactical Officer/Acting Secuity Chief and she's hear to take his place
He look up and seen Tailkinker's tail pointed at him and he turned to Cmdr Delor
"She's right, sir. I've been transferred to the Terrasect and the order comes from the Field General's office. I'm to report there as soon as possible"
He looks at Tail Kinker for a moment then left the bridge to catch a shuttle back to SB 234

Looks up from his chair at the transfer orders "Very well Tailkinker welcome aboard comtinue with Grabfoots security training circulations and continue running hourly tactical scans "
"and yes Lt 9 days to arrive at the coordinates should be just fine timme enough for everything needed"
