She blinked in confusion. The ship was not damaged, the oira intact, all officers at their stations.
She was not dead! There was only one possible explanation.
In the next moment, she remembered the course change that would automatically be initiated.
"Belay my last order! Maintain current position."
She sent a prayer that Helm heard and understood. There was no time for questions.

Just as everything grew dim and he drew his last breath, the scene changed again, back to the moment where he was about to initiate the course change that the Riov approved of and would send him and hald of the Oria-saehne to their demise.
He reappeared back at his Gonai and looked around confused for a moment, his index finger poised over the key that would alter their position. Just as he was about to press it, the Riov quickly changed her mind and quickly revised her order, nearly shouting
"Belay my last order! Maintain current position."
Surprised, he shot a look over to the Riov, not expecting so sudden and quick change of mind then suddenly it dawned on him what was about to happen. His finger fell away from the course oorrection key. He then gave a nod to the Riov "Ie, Lhhei. Maintaining position"
He turned to look at the view screen, still slightly confused

She was suddenly at her console. She looked around slightly confused and then realization hit her. She had experienced her death, and now would forever be altered by the experience. But this was the present they were caught in a loop and would continue to experience this until things had been set back on course or at least its what she felt in her heart.
The Breen had caused this and now the universe was reacting to it. Eventually finding its own way back, or settling into a new reality. If it did settle in, where would they be and what place would have as a people.

Everything went black and he surrendered his spirit to the Element of Fire and his body to the oblivion of death
Suddenly he found himself back on the Oria as if nothing had happened, just before the course correction was initiated. He looked around, seeing confusion from the Riov and some of the other saehne-a. He felt just as confused
Liordra suddenly turned to the Gonai'saehne a moment before he did, ordering "Belay my last order! Maintain current position."
He came to the conclusion that the course correction would be a wrong choice and end in disaster for the Dhivael and was about to belay the order himself, knowing he would risk the wrath of the Riov but that would be better then positively forfeiting his own life, along with half of the Oria'saehne

The ship rocked once more, only with the now familiar side shot indicating they had returned to the former loop. Liordra stood and turned away in frustration, walking quickly to her office.
"khre'Arrain, you have command."

He turned a glance to the Gonai'saehne seeing his surprised look at the Riov then his compliance, his hand moving away from the engage key
The Dhivael was hit by the glancing blast from one of the ships in battle and he was growing rather used to the ship's rocking
"khre'Arrain, you have command." he heard Liordra say, with a tone bordering on frustration
He turned and looked at Liordra, who was retreating, rather quickly, into her office, her shoulders tense with frustration
"Ie, Lhhei" he said as she stepped in

As the Riov left the oira she could understand her need to distance herself for the moment and gain some inner peace and control, over what must seem impossible. However the Riov was Rihannsu and would master this and bring them out of it alive. But not just them but a restoration of the proper time line. Did she not, just save them from certain death.

Liordra counted the seconds. Retreating to her office was a fruitless act. Unless she figured out what to do, she and everyone else would spend eternity in one minute increments. There was little enough time to think let alone act and even the smallest action of moving the ship could have disastrous results. The worst part of all this was that they were all perfectly aware of what was happening and did not lose the memory of it each time. Glancing out a viewport, she was able to see the Breen ship again. She was sure it the key. Dhivael and the Breen were the only ones here who were constants. When they had seen the Breen return, and then it struck her. They should NOT have SEEN them return at all! Their cloaks were the only things that had kept from becoming victims of the Nexus. A damaged cloak meant that the Breen were again susceptible. Could it be that this entire battle was manufactured by their desire to destroy? What was Dhivael's purpose here then? Perhaps it was nothing at all. They had followed the Breen to find out what had changed but found that nothing had been.
A wink and a flash and she was back on the oira. They would be going home soon but they would not leave here empty handed. She waited for the impact and once it passed, opened a comm.
"erie'Arrain tr'Kayton report immediately to the oira."

H'daen had figured they repeat the time line every minute, when he heard the Riov "erie'Arrain tr'Kayton report immediately to the oira."
Quickly hitting his com he has the Transporter Chief beam to the Oira as he Martializes on the Oira looking at the Riov he gives a quick salute "ie, Ihhei"

She stood in front of the main viewscreen, watching the now quite familiar scenario. Very briefly, she outlined to tr'Kayton what the current situation was.
"This battle may only have been a creation of the Nexus but it is real and what is left of your squadron is somewhere in the middle of it. You will need to guide them back to the ship and you will only be able to so a minute at a time."
In the few remaining seconds she had, she programmed a countdown timer to display on the screen.
Wink. Flash. Impact.

Knowing the fighters emitted no tachyons and leave no residual anti-protons, they can not be tracked or located. The Only way is a chance hit by an opposing ship's weapons could reveal its location, by temporarily disrupting the cloak.

Almost half the fighters have been destroyed. Those that were left have received the comm to return and arrive at the specified coordinates. The first attempt to lock onto all the ships simultaneously fails and before they can attempt to reestablish, the fighters are returned to the battle.

It took three attempts but all fighters had been brought back aboard safely. Liordra was disgusted at the waste of lives and equipment the Breen caused in their lust for destruction. The battle may have been created by the Nexus but the casualties were real. Dhivael personnel had given their lives in defense of themselves and what they believed to be Starfleet ships under attack and the Breen believed they had seen the end of the Federation. Mnhei'sahe (The ruling passion, honor) demanded the Breen be held responsible for their actions. In truth however, it was neither a crime against the Empire or the Federation, it was personal.
She commed the flight deck. "Prepare a shuttle, I will be leaving the ship."
