Instead of addressing the Riov directly, Lyretha spoke to Veralen's concerns.
"You are correct, it might be another hallucination , though not one of our own. We all heard the same message. This time they was no question of it's reality. It is possible however that the Breen may be experiencing another situation. As before, the only way we have to verify it is to listen to their communications; find out if there is confusion or dissension between the ships."

Renn watched the others knowing full well that his home world of Bajor more then likely no longer existed or existed still back under Cardassian rule. Differences aside he stilled dreamed of one day returning. He wanted so desperately to believe in the will of the Prophets. Perhaps the prophets set him upon this alien ship for more than penance after all. Maybe he was here because he needed to be here to insure his worlds continued existence, or maybe it was just dumb luck. "Leih," He finally spoke. "It seems we have two choices: take a spin on the cosmic dabo wheel and hope we set things right or leave the nexus when the games already been decided. This maybe a game of chance, but even in a game of chance there is a chance. I say we try to undo this fallacy."

T'meryl stood silently for a moment. She could feel the frustration around her. "they must have gone into the nexus to change something that they were sure would destroy the Federation. The trouble is: it could have been some small thing. They could have killed someone important as a child. Or they could have interrupted a key event. there are too many variables." She started running history tapes. "but the nexus would have had to be near at that time in history."

S.Gale checks on her patients during the nighthingych, much pleased by their progress. During the morning shift, after briefing her staff on what to expect today, she goes and does a thorough "look over" on H'daen and Delon. As she is doing another dermal treatment, H'daen stirs and wakes. "Good Morning", she says gently "I'm giving you another dermal treatment, so I need you to keep still a bit. I won't be much longer. You sleep well? Could you do for a bit of breakfast?"

There had never been any question in Liordra's mind that they would attempt to follow the Breen. First they would need to determine where the Breen ships had entered Gaia's energy barrier. Though the planet existed within the Nexus, apparently nothing regarding it's own abilities had been altered. If they entered at the same place, in theory, it would take them to the same location. This would be the simplest action. When and if they were able to verify that they had arrived in the correct time and place.. The task was overwhelming! How could they as one ship, find and correct whatever the Breen had done to alter events? What were they to look for? She would not deceive herself in thinking that simply by going through historical records and comparing them with their own, that they would easily locate whatever divergence had become the crux of the change. Yet they had no choice. They were the only ones who were witness to this and had any hope of correcting it. She stood a little straighter.
"Suggestions. How do we pinpoint the precise location of the Breen ships' entry?"

Delon is still sleeping and should be ready for release to duty later today, Jackson is due for release to duty later this morning." She finishes the dermal treatment, "Like I said, you got the worse of it... but you are progressing nicely." She signals the nurse, "H'daen is ready for breakfast, help him with his needs, Hann'y yo." She nods to H'daen and goes to check out Jackson.

She sat at her console, looking at the screen as if willing it to answer her. Taking her knowledge of the Breen she attacked it from that angle first. The Breen always overly anxious to prove themselves to the superior officer would immediately report, not necessarily using secure channels. Her eyes narrowed while her forehead took on an intense look of concentration. They would have assumed they were alone. When they fired on the Dhiv and she didn't respond, even after the fighter was destroyed would have reinforced that assumption. So no, they would not have used secured channels. She then asked several questions of the computer and waited for the response. Her mind still working on this. She got the answer she was looking for. She began to backtrack the transmission.

She spoke quietly under her breath, clearly but not loudly enough so that everyone could hear. The Breen were nearly clear of the Nexus. With them gone, all their records and scans would go with them.
"If we had only arrived a few moments sooner or if there was another set of records we could access."

He was sitting there, think of how we could pinpoint the exact time the Breen had went to and tampered with and how exactly they had succeeded in doing it. He was at a loss for the moment. Temporal mechanics was not his strong suit when he was going through the Academy to become the best officer he could of the Empire. Sitting there was not accomplishing his, or anyone else's, goal
Out of the blue, like a disruptor blast, an idea came to him. He stood and turned to face Kiith'Auethnen Khev "With your codes that you are currently working on, Can you gain access to the Breen's computer? Perhaps we can access their logs and sensors readings on how they had succeeded in going back to the point in time they interrupted and thus correct what has been tampered with"
He spoke to the Riov, after posing his question to Khev

"A good suggestion Subcommander, but one we do not have the time to act upon."
She watched as the Breen ships left the Nexus taking with them all the information they might have used. But perhaps not. Another ship's records the Daise'Dheno had said. The Breen had not been the only presence in this space.. The Defiant had also been here! The darkness that had settled on her lifted a little as she turned to Renn.
"What is the current location of the Defiant?"

Renn looked up from his panel. We're close Leih, about ten thousand kilometers.
