Sandra listens to Aidan "I have never had my heart broken like you or Cindy luck I guess, but agree theirs no fairy book ending"She says

Clyde laughs "Someday Yuna may use my heard for a door mat! but I will never use hers that way, You waddle in your self pity Like Charlie did for 10 years because the girl he loved died" he says

"You understand what she's going through you have been their I ain't saying you live happily ever after, I'm not even saying it will work out" he says

"But right know She needs you and you need her, but hey do as you want" he says as he walks backs and sits on the cot

"I'm looking at Spending 30 to life in prison, So I know life isn't fair but am I moanning about no" he says

He nods at Sandra "yes, you are lucky to have never had your heart broken and I hope that you continue to have such luck"

He then turned his attention to Clyde, not finding this very humorous "If your Yuna is smart, she will not stomp on your heart. Perhaps women here in the future arent like the ones back on earth but as I like to say ""seeing is believing"". I have yet to meet a woman who hasn't cheated on me or marry me because it was something to do" He remembered what his ex wife had told him but then dismissed it "I do not need a woman if all she is going to do is break my heart.

As far as you spending 30 to life in prison, I doubt that. you're a damn fine officer, from what I see, and they would be stupid to put you there

Sandra smiles at Aidan "Thank You" she says

Clyde looks at Aidan "I no Yuna not, if I get sentenced I may have to break her heart so she can move on" he says

"What!" Sandra yells

"As for starfleet being stupid to send me to prison, no one ever said they were smart" Clyde says Sandra looks at him

"You will never find a woman, you think their all going to cheat on you" Clyde says as he lays down "when ever their late getting home, or stay over someplace, god for bid their on a different ship,you'll think their cheating on you" he says "That's no way to live my Friend no way to live" he says

He narrowed his eyes at Clyde, then folded his arms in front of his chest. and pretty much ignored Sandra, even with her yelled "What"? when he said that he would break Yuna's heart before she broke his, using going to prison as an excuse. His voice lowered, but he could still be heard, a sure sign that he was upset

"Speaking of excuses, don't let going to prison give you an excuse to break up with a woman, unless you're a coward. If you break her heart, you will definitely lose respect points with me, Mr. Greathouse.

As far as me going around "thinking" that a woman will cheat on me.. The thought may cross my mind but I never go around accusing the lady in question of it. I'm not as stupid as I look. I never "Think" a woman will cheat on me. What I do get is people telling me that said woman had cheated on me with an ex or a best friend, or here's a real good one. Waking up and going in your bedroom to find your fiance in bed with your best friend, 2 months after your son is born!" His voice raised a bit on the last part to add a little emphasis and a little heat to the words. What he didn't add was that the same son was also taken away from he and his mother and the mother had put all the blame on him "Thinking that your loved one is cheating and them actually doing it are two entirely different things. Having your spouse say that she loves you only to turn around and cheat on you, that's no way to live either, thank you very much. I have yet to find a woman that will be faithful and until I do, I will remain cynical"

He stood there, with his arms crossed, glaring at Clyde. He thought about storming out of there but something kept him there

As they Listen Sandra goes up Aidan an Hugs him "I'm so sorry you had to go through all that" she says

Clyde puts his hands under his head "So I should let her Love a man who rotting away in prison" he asks "I know Yuna she would stand by me, breaking her heart is the only way to get her to move on, while I rote in Prison" he says Anger can be heard he takes a breath

"So thinking it is different than doing it, if you had hooked up with my sister, you off all over the Federation her doing her Job" he says "and you think a woman will love you when you can't trust them" he says

"You'll have woman as stupid as Sandra who love you, but your mistrust would would end up driving her in to another's bed" he says " So you build your wall around your heart like Cindy's doing funny things on walls we build them to keep things out seems we forget it keeps things in as well" he says, he looks at Sandra who is giving him the look of death

He laughs "Life is a Pain then you Die" he says

He heard Clyde's words again and he felt his blood pressure climb a couple more notches. He was sure the only thing that was helping him keep his cool was Sandra's presence. He suddenly felt a headache coming on and he placed a hand on his forehead, with his other arm still up at his chest "This coming from a man who has never had his heart broken" He mutters

Much to his surprise, he felt Sandra's arms go around him in another hug. He heard her say that she was sorry that those things had happened to him. Without even thinking about it, he put an arm around Sandra's shoulders in a buddy buddy type gesture "Why be sorry if it's not your fault?" he would ask her. "As I mentioned ""Things Happen""

The hug seemed to diffuse his blood pressure a bit, enough to get him thinking and he turned to Clyde "Ya know, Clyde. It seems to me that you're beginning to sound just like me: giving up before you even try but in your case you think you're going to go to prison even before this trial is over. Almost the same as giving up. With that kind of Attitude, Yuna would be better off to find someone that's not a quitter

As far as Sandra being stupid, I would suggest taking that back. She's not stupid. She is a smart, beautiful, caring young woman. Yes, I would like t go out with her, but as she told me earlier, she already has a boyfriend, whom I assume loves her. You trust a woman to love you and then she goes and stabs you in the back and heart. Where or what do you think happens with that trust? It goes bye bye or at least it diminishes a little bit. Then the next person comes along. You Trust her then she does the same thing, stab you in the back and heart. The trust goes down a little more and it gets harder and harder to trust again. Trust is earned, GreatHouse, not just simply given freely and that goes with anyone, not just women. You build walls cause you have a wounded heart and are trying to protect it from getting stabbed, crushed, stepped on and just plain shattered. Granted, nothing can get in but that's the price to pay"

He heard Clyde's "Life is a pain then you die" then laugh about it "I'm glad you're taking this so light heartedly and think this is all a joke. I don't think it's so funny" Of course, he had a sarcastic tone in his voice

Sandra feels Aidan put his Arm on her shoulders in a buddy buddy type gesture as he says "Why be sorry if it's not your fault?" he would ask her. "As I mentioned ""Things Happen"" She smiles at him, then looks at Clyde

Clyde looks at his Sister and smiles as he hears Aidan say "Ya know, Clyde. Sandra kisses he cheek "Thank you" She says

Clyde looks at him "Or what!" he asks in an angry voice

"Clyde!" Sandra yells as she walks up and Slaps him across the face

"What?" Clyde asks as he rubs his jaw

"I am not stupid!" she yells at him

Clyde takes his hand away "No your not Sis" he says as he jumps up grabs Sandra and hold her upside down

He looks at Aidan "Look I'm sorry you were hurt like that, but who do you think would mend your broken heart better someone who don't understand it or someone who lived it?" Clyde asks as Sandra yells for him to put her down

"Whats the magic words" Clyde says, Sandra fights to get free then crosses her arms over her chest and snorts "Your the King" Clyde stands he up and Kisses her forehead

Sandra hits him in the chest "Not funny" she says then hugs Clyde

"I'm not a quitter I'm just looking at the reality of what could happen" he heard Clyde say as he sat up with his fists clenching

He shook his head "Sounds like me you completely given up, not just preparing what could happen" he then recites what Clyde himself had said just a minute ago ""breaking her heart is the only way to get her to move on, while I rot in Prison"".. Sandra cut him off and he lost his train of thought when she kissed him on the cheek again. He blinked at her then heard Clyde's "Or What"? and he turned his blinking eyes look on him

Before he could come back with a response, Sandra angrily went over and slapped him silly. He winced as he heard the flesh of her hand come across the hard planes of his jaw "That had to hurt" he muttered and looked on as Clyde jumped up and upended Sandra, holding her upside down. As Sandra yelled for him to put him down, he heard Clyde say "Look I'm sorry you were hurt like that, but who do you think would mend your broken heart better? Someone who don't understand it or someone who lived it?" then turned back to Sandra and asked what the magic words were

Sandra replied "You're the King". Clyde, apparently satisfied, put her down on her feet

He shook his head and muttered "Ok.." like he couldn't believe what he just saw. As Sandra hugged her brother, he answered his last question " I would say someone who has went through it as I have but I don't see anyone around like that"

Clyde Laughs at the look on Aidan's Face then shakes his head when Aidan says " I would say someone who has went through it as I have but I don't see anyone around like that"

Sandra turns and looks at Aidan but before she can say anything Clyde interrupts her "She walked out the door, that one with the heart of ice and stone" he says

"Do what you want, I think you should go talk to her" He says as he sits back down

As soon as he said that he didnt see anyone like that, he had a feeling that Clyde, or Sandra, would tell him that she had walked out the door a few minutes earlier

He saw Sandra turn and was about to say something but Clyde interrupted her, saying what he thought he was gonna say "She walked out the door, that one with the heart of ice and stone"

He smirked, a look of amusement crossing his facial features. He chuckled knowingly then he heard Cyde say "Do what you want. I think you should go talk to her"

"Yeah, ok." He says in a somewhat disabelieving tone "Maybe I'll go and do that but I doubt i'll be able to melt that glacier she calls a heart. You saw how she acted towards me. She didn't want anything to do with me" Like most women, he thought to himself

Sandra looks at him "I think her heart as been cold for sometime" she says "I don't think shes a lost cause" she says


"She not lost yet, but shes getting close" Clyde says "You know your not far behind her, you got work for her, and shes going to need to work for you" he says

"Like Charlie would say your two peas in a pod" Clyde smiles

He listens to both Sandra and Clyde, what they say making sense to him and breaking through a layer of stubborness that resides in him, which is not easy to do

When Clyde mentions that "we're two peas in a pod" as his brother charlie would say. At first, he just looks at him then he bursts out laughing

"two peas in a pod, eh? I havent heard that in... I forget when. Basically you're trying to tell me that she's a female version of me?" He paused to think about that for a moment then made a mock look of horror "oh boy.. scary thought"

Clyde looks at "Yes it is scary, scary that people could could actually do that to you" he says

"I'm not saying shes been hurt as bad as you, but she knows were your coming from," he says "And I'm not saying you two meet and talk you will fall in love, but you never know if you don't try" he says

Clyde then looks back up at the ceiling "Maybe your scared she is like you" he says


Sandra looks at both of them, then back to Clyde "Why do keeping pushing it, hes not interested in her" She says

He nodded in agreement as he heard Clyde again, noting that he missed his joke completely then heard him say "You'll never know if you don't try". Again he nodded in agreement "That.." he began before Cyde cut in and said "Maybe you're scared.."

Both eyebrows shot up and he gaped a bit, surprised and shocked he would suggest that "Scared?!" He said incredulously and let the response hang there a moment. He then recovered and hung his head a little "Maybe a little" he admitted, then he looked Clyde in the eyes "Wouldn't you be after all the crud I been through?" Something in the back of his mind, repeated the question in his head and after he thought for a moment, he added "Maybe she is too, which is why she is blowing everyone off, keeping her distance"

He turned to Sandra, after she said "Why do you keep pushing it, he's not interested in her". He was surprised again that she would say something like that. He wondered how she could tell if he was interested in her or not. Then it dawned on him, and he smiled a bit in humor. She was using reverse psychology. Giving Sandra a amused look, he would say "My dear, Sandra. I never stated whether or not I was interested in her or not" Then, he turned to Clyde, not sure if he did or not, asking "Did I"?

Clyde looked Aidan in the eye as he listened to him, the Aidan looked at Sandra and said "My dear, Sandra. I never stated whether or not I was interested in her or not" Sandra smiles at him when he turns back to Clyde and says "Did I"?

Clyde starts laughing "That's my Sis queen of reverse psychology" He says then he gets serious "She is terrified to let someone in her heart, and yes you have every right to be scared" he says

But if one things comes from this I pray its you both learn from each other, its OK to let people into your hearts and love" he says

" I agree with that Clyde" Sandra says as she leans over and kisses Clyde's forehead "I got go got some work to do, Mom and Dad send their Love as Does Beth Greathouse and Kayla" she says "I'll give them all your love" she says as starts to leave
