Greetings,
General's log
Open log................................. Star date 65883.64
The transfer to the new Pegasus has been completed. And while it was smooth there was still the incident to mar the event.
The body has been transferred to sickbay. I want to keep this in house for now. Hopefully the new CMO and Lt Kiele Christine who's stepped in our regular Science officers place while he has business to attend to on his home world.
I have a suspicion but until I have some facts and speak with Major Shacklefored I'll keep this suspicion under wraps. With the second death its becoming harder and harder to do this.
end log................................
Generals office (section of the post)
She sat down and subconsciously played with the pen clicking it on and off. When the suspicion she had became clearer, almost as if it was already a known fact.
She tapped on her console and left a message for her XO to see her at this first opportunity.
Briefing
As if it was not bad enough being towed in, we received the final word that the Pegasus was to be replaced after the last battle she was in. Since her damages were far too extensive for repair, fortunately a ship was already being built that was planned to replace her. I had hoped she would end her career as she began it.
A body was found in the cargo bay. We've been investigating it, keeping it in house. But when a second body showed up that was it. The bodies have been transferred to the Pegasus sickbay. Hopefully the new CMO will beable to shed some light on this.
Sim objectives
1) Continue to transfer the last of our things and crew to the new ship 2) Dr Dominie will be working on finding the means and other important facts concerning this death. 3) Lt Christine will be assisting the doctor and suppling any information she can from a CNS and science POV 4) All other crew members will either be fine tuning their stations or assisting in the investigation

Therefore, they should keep themselves busy darning the sim, if I am not interacting directly with them. 3) If you any ideas for a storyline that's ship wide submit your idea to me via email. I will go over the storyline and if its consistent with the Pegasus I will work with you to bring it alive for our sim. Greetings,
General's log
Open log ............... Star date 66034.64
With the resolution of the "event" we've left the station. The ship experienced no difficulty in leaving and minor glitches were reported and will be fixed ASAP.
We are now at the testing site for the shakedown. I know the ship will do well. She has to, with the crew we have it couldn't go any other way.
end log............. Generals personal log She was in her office going over the final plans for the shakedown, when her mind wandered off to the old ship. The old Pegasus which was a Kennedy Class was one of the few that was still in service. After they left the docking area and reached the shipping lanes she had the new ship come to a stop and watched a great ship she commanded leaving to be retired. It was sad for Jenina but the this new ship was exciting in its own way. After going over the last of the plans she got up and went to the bridge.
Briefing We are at the testing area and have clearance to enter. The few glitches we experienced so far have been repaired. We will enter the testing area. Not only the ship but the crew will be tested. Special excises have been planned for the Marines and Security. So everyone should be on their toes. Objectives 1) enter the testing site and pass with flying colors. Greetings,
General's log open log.......................... Star Date 66054.64
The shakedown has started and the first exercise was testing the transwarp drive. She preformed well although it was reported that a few crew members had to report to sickbay due to the speed we were traveling at.
Transwarp is exciting but I will not order its use unless its really necessary. I see no reason for a speed that high, even on the old Pegasus I used it only a few times.
I look forward to the rest of the test and the Ceng's report on how the transwarp engines did.
end log.............................
Briefing We have started the shakedown flawlessly with a test of the transwarp engines. They exceeded the expections placed on them. The shakedown will continue and I fully expect it continue as it has. Objectives 1) To finish the next phase of the shakedown Roster

Executive Officer's Log:
I have apparently done the impossible: I have lost a planet. It has been 75 minutes since we lost contact with both the Away team and the planet designated only as M14. I have consulted my Operations officer and Flight control officer for lack of the Science position being filled. Right now no sensor trace of the planet has been detected. The only thing we have noted is that there was a large burst of energy before the planet disappeared. General Weslynes is in private conference with the Captain of the BotaS. It was definitely heated. Its also the first time I've heard the General swear in Klingon. I thought I had a good grasp on that, but apparently I have a few lessons to learn. Either way it looks like we may now be working on a time line which will only complicate things.
End Log.
Mission Objectives:
1) Find the mission world
2) Find the mission Away team
3) Find the cause of the disappearance
4) Find any information we can about General Birch and the Toxic Squad.

Starfleet Alert: There has been an event in Sector Z-6. All starships are ordered to stay clear of that sector until further notice or otherwise ordered. Admiral Darrel Beechum Assistant Director, Starfleet Operations He looked over the short message and let out a low whistle. Darrel had only had this job a week. He'd come over from supply and was told this was a less complicated assignment. He had his fill of reports when he was the head of supply division. It was a far cry from his starship days. The Texan had been know as a ‘gunslinger’ in those days; quick to attack and always ready for action. Now his job was to shuffle weapons uniforms and fuel to ship. Now he felt like a glorified air traffic controller. “Are you troubled about our Romulan friends?” He turned. It was a familiar voice. The voice of Koval. Koval was a Vulcan assigned for ambassadorial duty, but like most never stuck to the job description. If Darrel didn’t know any better the Vulcan could be titled a ‘thrill seeker’ but Vulcan’s didn’t seek thrills. ‘No,” He said absently. I ..uh was thinking about more.” He paused “Interesting times. No Ambassador, I have faith in Commodore St Claire. He’s been working with the Romulans since the treaty was originally drafted.
“Interesting time?” The Vulcan raised an eyebrow which was indicative of puzzlement by his race. “You do not find the job you have challenging enough?”
“Its plenty challenging, but…” He paused again. “You know..” He paused again. “Maybe you don’t” he said to himself. “Out there.” He pointed to the observation window. “In space, you know in command you can make a difference. Here you still can, but not as well directly.”
The Vulcan regarded him as he stammered through his explanation and then pondered a moment himself trying to grasp what this human was saying. Finally he spoke. “Ripples in the pond Admiral. One small ripple can create a great upheaval. Never underestimate your impact on the universe.”
“You are right, of course.” He bowed and conceded. “But I still reserve the right to growl occasionally." He said with a smile.
“I believe the phrase is 'Your bark is worse than your bite’?” The Vulcan retorted. Darrel had brought up a cup of coffee to his lips and had work to keep from spraying it on the viewport. He nodded silently to the Vulcan and made a silent prayer that whatever was happening was isolated to one area.
Executive Officer's Log:
Burned, bashed, and cut open. I asked my Chief Engineer to assess the damage of Pegasus and that was my 'one line' report. Lieutenant Thames is a flamboyant sort, but sometimes he grates on me. I'm waiting to her word from Operations, I was hoping that we would get a better assessment there. In the mean time, both the General and I are a bit uneasy about or lack of communications. The system is down and Thames had said that there are so many other problems that need dealing with that he would have to assign a 'green horn' to do the job. I'm calling out an 'all hands' on the ship to get us functional. We need to communicate with the Romulan Command that their ship is lost. Right now all we have a a great and large diplomatic blunder.
End Log.
1) Get ships vital systems repaired.
2) Communicate with the Romulans and star fleet
3) Continue investigation of what happened to us.
