Ravin came up to the font command center of the small ship, nodding hello and smiling at the Pilot.
"Good morning, Captain. I'm Governor DelaCroix. Forgive my curiosity, but as a former Military pilot, I just wanted to see the controls. I'm sure you know how that is."
"Only too well," The pilot replied, chuckling. "You were in Starfleet?"
"No. the Eminian solar guard. I'm from Eminiar Seven."
"Is that right? I flew out there once on a Cadet training mission. That was a while ago, of course. Nice architecture. What'd ya fly on E7?"
"Mostly the t-71 Starbird. The basic design has been adapted by Starfleet as the the Javelin class. we're carrying those with us."
The pilot's brow cocked a bit "OOOooooooh you lucky devil!" he laughed. "Tell ya what, if you can fly those, my Ops man is down securing the cargo hold. can you take Ops for a few minutes? it'll get us out of here a heck of a lot sooner."
Ravin smiled brightly. "I'd love to!" he took the seat and began to pull up the checklist protocols.

He heard the all clear to launch and he smiled
"All right. Time to go" He glanced back toward the Murcury 10 forward, or where he thought it may be and muttered "I'll be back soon, Sara my love. Don't miss me too much"
He chuckled a bit, then stepped inside, taking another window seat across from Skye

Hitomi did not even stir as the engines came to life and the ship prepared to launch. at the moment she was still in what passed for the deepest part of her sleep, the intial falling off. She was a notoriously light sleeper who had no problems falling asleep most anywhere with no problems.
It was the staying asleep that was the problem.

He puts his fingerer to is lips to let people no to keep it down and pointed to Hitomi showing she was a sleep
He knows how important sleep is, he gets by on 4 to 5 hrs a day but the planet is no place to be if your tired.
He sits in his seat waiting for them to launch

He strapped himself in then happened to look over toward Arron who was giving a "shh" sign then poinnting over towards the doctor
He took a quick glance over and saw that she was sound asleep. He smirked slightly, whispering over toward Arron "Must be tough being a doctor"

Brighton watched the ship lauch with a smile. It was for sure that they would see the sites faster but not with the personal touch that the rovers would provide him. He wanted ot smell the wind, feel the dirt and see which way the rocks fell before he could decide. He gave the order to follow the ship from the ground with a few malitia with him. The hum of the Rover sounded good. He could feel the craft vibrate as they headed out. It wasn't the prettiest peice of machinery, but it would get the job done.

Over she rolled, trying to get comfy on the standard issue seat. No doubt they were never designed to actually sleep in. It was a good thing that Htitomi was just a little thing as she brought her legs up slightly and curled her arms in. Just the slightest of little sighs escaped her before falling deeper into sleep again.

"You have green lights all around. Mind if I do the honors? I'm sorry, I didn;t get your name. Forgive me."
"Gordon Cooper. And no, no relation." he chuckles
"Beg your pardon?"
"Oh, sorry, There was an ancient Terran astronaut named Gordon Cooper. One of the first Terrans in space. People always ask me if I'm his descendant. I'd of said 'yes' if there were any royalties in it." He laughs. "Call me Coop. and go ahead"
"Thank you Coop". Ravin punched up the comm panel. "Ercury launchbay, this is transport ship Deneva, ready for launch. Please open bay doors."
He got the recognition respnse and saw the doors sliding oen as Coope had the thrusters powered up. He hit the comm again, for shipwide adress.
"Ladies and Gentlemean, this is your Governor speaking. We are about to depart. Relax, and thank you for flying Sandoval." He winked at Coop, who was shaking his head.
"Coop, thanks a lot, it was fun. I miss the cockpit." He stood as the OPS officer returned. Ravin took a moment to introduce himself and thank him for letting him have some fun.
"You're gonna have thos Javelins to play with, what're you complainig about?" Coop laughed.
"Thanks again. I better go make sure the natives don't get restless."

Durning the trip there she was unusally quiet. Part of her mind was on Ivan and his recovery, while another part began to grasp the impact of her decision to make this move. By the time they reached Thales she knew in her heart of hearts that this was the best move for her.
She looked out the VP and saw the planet come into view. This would be home.

After years of school, internships, and generally being at the bottom of the pecking order as far as the medical profession was concerned, the one thing Hitomi did not do well was nothing. She positivly hated sitting around with nothing to do. Some would say she got downright dangerous when nothing was happening. at least to herself.
Usually that involved projects. Projects she never finished, and never really intended to, but it gave her something to do. Of course the most fun and most embarissing of these had been the time she had made plaster casting material from scratch just to see if it could be done. Her fellow students had gotten a good laugh at her "cast" after she had discovered exactly how fast the stuff set when applied to her arm.

He sat thinking about the Colony and wondering how hard it will be to build what needs to be build
He occasionally checked on Htitomi and Skye by glance at them, their was no need to, but it gave him something to do besides feeling useless, as he looked out his View Port her saw the Planet come in view
