He gives the other a confused look. "I cannot be sure how it is for marines, but I much prefer life aboard a starship to my Academy days.
"But why does that lead your brother to comment about the dampness behind your ears?"

She sat looking out the VP, the old demons still held a slight grip on her. One person, the last Doctor she saw, told her she had PTSS (Post Traumatic Shock Syndrome).
She wanted to make friends but found it so hard. On the bridge she was more confident, in control, assured. Away from helm and that reversed. She looked around the room and saw the various crew members all of them seemed to have a host of friends. She sighed deeply and took a gulp of her wine. She tried to quiet her mind.

Shran's antennae twitch unexpectedly conveying a single stray sobbing thought from the distant Marine Captain. Instinctively, as he had done so often in the past, he suppresses it almost immediately. His Aenar heritage brought disgracefully into the foreground.
He looks to the female Bajoran sitting lonely at the table. "Perhaps we should join her," he suggests to the other after a moment.

Laughs "It means I still need to learn and understand others"
He sees Shran's antennae twitch unexpectedly and is confused by it, then Shran looks at the Capt. and says "Perhaps we should join her"
Looking at the Capt. "Agreed" he says with a pause "I think she could use the company" he says as they get up and head to her table
Looking at her and smiling "May we join you Ma'am" he asks as they Wait for a reply

Shran appears from behind the large Human lieutenant and imitates a human smile as he looks at the seated Bajoran. His PADD and raktajino in hand.

A Waiter walks by waving him down "Ice cold Milk" he orders the waiter looks to see if the others want anything

"Thank you," he nods graciously to both. "I have been away from Starfleet and it is a welcome reception that I recieved aboard the Aryes." He takes a sip of his drink.

Nods to Shran looks back at Inid "This is my first Assignment I hope to make Friends" he says as he takes a drink of milk
"in the Academy most were afraid of me and my Brother David" he says looking down at him self
looking at both "Oh well their loss"
looking at Inid "I know a little about Andoria but hardly anything on Bajor, what is like Ma'am"

"I've only been on Bajor a couple of times. But it was beatitful. There are area's that are still being re-claimed after the occupation. The Cardassians did a lot of damage to the Bajor."
"I'm really glad to be here and have another opportunity to see Bajor"
