Looking at Aidan the twitching antanae is a sign of annoyance" she say "As for rather he doesn't like you that I can not answer"

"I would think that is fairly obvious counselor, unless he is always in an annoyed mood. You don't get annoyed with someone you like"

at least, he didn't think so

[LtCmdr Dr. Cindy Lee McKenzie]

"Aidan he is the Captain and he is responsible for this ship, and its crew" she says "He is trying to help Lt Greathouse this all lays heavy on the Captain do not be so quick to judge him" she says as she takes a drink

She sits the glass down "Computer were is the Captain?" she asks "The Captain is in his ready room" the Computer replies

She looks at Aidan "I must go, I think the Captain wanted to speak with me" She stands as leaves "We shall talk later,to make sure your adjusting to your new time period" she says as she exits

He turned to face the counselor fully when she mentioned that he is the Captain, his responsibility is to the ship and the trial with Lt Greathouse is being a burden on him and advised not to judge him so quickly and/or harshly

He nodded, fully understanding what she is saying "Yes, I know this. I'm sure it's hard being a captain of a whole ship, especially with this trial going. I'm not trying to judge him or anything, it's just.." he trailed off when he tried to search for the right words. Explaining his reasoning or how he felt had never came easy for him and he felt like he always floundered in that area. As he searched, the counselor asked the computer where the captain was, the computer politely told her and then she stood, saying that she needed to go talk to the captain, since he may have wanted to talk to her

He felt a bit guilty for interrupting them so he just nodded "Ok, counselor. I'll catch you later then" He stepped out of her office first since it was her office. As she walked down the hall to an elevator.. turbo lift as they're called now, he corrected himself, he said to her retreating back "Didn't mean to interrupt.."

He turned down the hallway, opposite where the counselor was going and mentally kicked himself, muttering "dumb, Aidan, real dumb.."

As he walked back to his quarters, he dismissed the incident and wondered what his hometown looked like now, thinking it's a whole lot bigger then when he last saw it.. like 390 years ago.

Main Corridor, Deck 4

He was walking down the corridor with a thoughtful expression. He knew his wife was pretty upset over the "death" of the holographic system, Ary. She looked and pretended to be a real woman, but the fact remained that she was just a hologram

and a bloody tempermental one too. Jealous over the love that he and his wife share. How can a hologram be jealous? Not only that, in a fit of anger, she fries the Tactical console and nearly him right along with it and Cindy is alright with that? He just shook his head

Glancing around, he would find himself near the Counselor's office. Thinking she may be in, he walks over and rings the chime

She hers the chime ring, and wipes her eyes "Enter" she calls out

He heard the call to enter from the other side and he did just that

He stepped in and looked at his wife, her eyes red from crying, presumably over Ary. He frowned a bit. She didn't cry for him when he had been burned. What's so special about a bloody hologram? Not like she was family or anything

"Hi hun. I hope i'm not bothering you. You being in your office and all. I was just in the area"

She looks at Aidan "Of course not Honey I finished my Report" she walks over and Kisses him "I must look a fright" she smiles

Having been kissed after she walked over, he smiled at her "Of course not, babe. You look as beautiful as ever, even thought you look like you been crying"

"I know the crew don't understand, and I'm no engineer, but Holograms don't cry or feel pain, let along show emotions" she shakes her.

"she was over whelmed buy it all, I have been crying for my Friends death"

He frowned again "I know I don't understand it either. Call me old fashioned but holograms don't have feelings. I know you think of her as a friend, but the base fact remains that she is.. or was a hologram"

I think whoever programmed her did a bad job and needs to go back to the drawing board"

She takes his hand "That's the point, I don't think she was programed with Feelings, I think she was evolving"

She takes a breath "She was a Hologram yes but she was becoming more"

He felt her take his hand and looke a bit thoughtful at her words "I didn't know machines could evolve like that"

"their not suppose to, a Baby emotions evolves over time, her Emotions were thrust on her all at once, It was more than she could handle"

She smiles at him then plays what they said in their quarters about Ary's "She heard everything on the ship, and her emotions could not understand why people hated her or were afraid of her, even before she almost killed us all"

"A baby is alive, it is human or whatever race is born unto his or her parents"

He arched a brow at the recording that she played Well, she was plugged into all parts of the ship so I imagine she'd hear a few things. I wasn't afraid of her until she tried to fry me alive with the Tactical console"

"I'm so Glad she didn't fire you" she sits back down "We always had emotions, I don't think she did, if we never had emotions we be scared when we got them, she had no idea how to uses them"
