"You'd be welcome in my quarters, I've got cards and snacks, so all you need to do is bring yourself and the drinks." She is serious about wanting him to drop by, and hopes that he will. She smiles and goes to poke around in another dusty corner of the building.

She unearths a case of old papers and books. "Looks like someone's old homework." She calls out. "If we can figure out the language, we can figure out what subject... and other things about their culture or history or scientific level."
She packs up the box again and wraps a strap around it so she can haul it out. Ejiul should take a look at this.
She pokes around in a smaller box. It appeared to be a collection of media, something like the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition of this culture. "Hey Johanas, there might be something you like over here." She chuckles and leaves the smaller box for Johanas.

Takes the smaller box and starts rifling thru the material " alright hot scantily clad alien chicks perfect this should go well with the fifty million year old booze " adding a smirk and filing thru some old paperwork" and this looks like an invoice to me maybe a role of all the materials in this celler at one time "

Anarra finishes her field rations, wondering if she could create better tasting ones. She then begins to stretch out since they would be back up and moving soon, she wanted to make sure she was ready for any hike they would be doing. She wonders how people used to get down here in the first place. She looks around the campsite to see how everyone else was doing.
They all seemed fine, and she sensed that most of them were rather calm about being in the cave, and were excited about doing some more exploring. She smiles and sits down again untill it was time to leave again.

Sitting at the campsite he tries to decipher the language, putting the book down he stretches "This one complex language their a symbols the appear several times in a words, then au don't see it for several paragraphs"
He stands up walks around then sits down by the Commander and shows her the cave map, he points to two areas "I believe these are Cemeteries and the word could mean anything but I think it is Cemetery, Graveyard, Dead something along those lines"
He points to some symbols "They appear on this map and the cave walls but not in the books" he says as he shakes his head Standing he moves away from the Commander
Walking over to Johanas "Do au have anymore spider" he pauses "It can't be any worse than Gagh" he says as he waits for a reply

Anarra looks at the maps. "You could be right." She examines them further.
"If there are cemetaries, It could mean this place was just abandoned when there were too few people to sustain it. Or we could yet find the last of the people who lived here. We still dont know why its abandoned remember. I'd like to solve that mystery."

Standing by Johanas he looks back at they Commander "That is most plausible the population dropped and the moved, their is another area that looks like a settlement"
Looking at the map "Perhaps they moved from here to their when they could no longer keep the city going, this is very possible as that settlement seems deeper in the cave Logically it would make it harder for others to reach it and easer to defend with low numbers"

Anarra nodds "Id like to check out that area as well. It should be interesting comparing the two sights, to see how similar they are. And to see what defenses they had. perhaps this first settlement was used still as an outlook post, that way they could tell when someone was coming. It would give them quite an advantage. What do you think?"

Tilts his head "That is possible this city may have started as an outpost and grew into a city"
"Intriguing perhaps the other settlement is older than this one, ie it will be interesting to see how closely they resemble each other" he raises an eyebrow
"Vah if they just left the planet they had warp and live for over 50,000 years they may have simply moved when the planet died"
"So many questions so few answers" he says as he sits back down

"An interesting interference....I didnt think of that. It could be a strong possibility. We just need to find more evidence to support it. Don't worry Ejiul, I'm sure we will find at least one answer during this mission. I'm sure there will always be mysteries with this place." She says with a smile.
"Including how flying spiders live in a cave."

"You know thats gross dont you?" Referring to him eating the spider. "Those had better not be babies. If they are I'm flying the shuttle out of here."
She takes his padd and laughs.
"Hmmm...a spider named after me...I always thought there would be a cure named after me....or maybe a planetoid I discovered." She laughed again. She checks her time.
"All right everyone, lets finish up and then head out again."
She gathers her supplies and gets ready to leave.

Holds the spider out "sure au would not like some, its quite good" he says with a pause
"I can remove your name ma'am before I submit it if au like" he says as he finishes eating it and gathers his stuff
"But Anarra Muscaaracnida dose have a nice ring to it" he smiles
As he prepares to return to the Library
