Yuna also noted Will's entrance, She could sense his happiness before she saw him enter with cigars. Yuna calls out
"My heartiest Congratulations to you and Sowren on the birth of your child"
In the back of her mind and her heart, she hoped that one day that her and Candela can celebrate the birth of a child

Yuna blinks, suddenly feeling a bit odd. She looks around for a few moments as if trying to figure out where she is then realizes she is in ten forward. She feels as if a fog has been lifted from her brain. She looks to see Candela next to her and a few memories surface that make her blush and feel somewhat embarrassed. She speaks in a low tone so only Candela can hear her
"Candi, I seem to have been more effected by your Rath'uk then I thought. Did you know it effects women as well as men? I fear that we may have went to far in our actions, but I do not regret them. I feel it has helped the both of us. if you don't mind, I would like to remain friends. Even if we are unable to love each other as lovers, then perhaps as two sisters?"
She waits for candi's response

Feeling a little bored between shifts, he decides to see what this ship offers for entertainment. He leaves his quarters, and scouts around a little, discovering 10 forward on this ship.
Figuring that there would be quite a few people here, he enters, and looks around. Not seeing many, he shrugs, but decides to stay and have a chat with who ever was willing to talk with him any way. Stepping up to the bar, he orders a cold beer off the tap, not really caring what flavor it was, and sits down, listening.
None of the conversations were much of interest at the moment, but he smiles anyway. Observing people could sometimes be just as much fun as talking to them.

She walked into Ten forward looking around. Seeing the new officer she walked over to him.
"Hello, I'm the helms officer MCapt Deborah Vasset" she offered her hand. "Off duty I'm simply Deb."

Taking the offered had, he gives her a lopsided, half-smile.
"Nice to meet you. Drace Summersday, Drayce for short. Science, though I guess you could probably tell?" He looks down at his uniform, "We are all kinda color coded around here, aren't we?"

"Most are color coded. Unless your in the Marines, then we all were the green. Nice to get some new crew members."
"Science now that must be interesting."
"I'll have a beer thanks. So where are you from? I'm from NYC, the place that hasn't slept in centries." She laughs at the joke.

Giving her an innocenly boyish half-smile, "Beer it is then for you. Never developed much of a tast for it myself. Now, a good Terran Ale? That'd be worth crossing the galaxy in a clucky freighter for."
He turns and orders the drinks, before returning his attention to Deb, "I'm from the stars. Not exactly sure, as my parents command the science vessles. I'm not exactly sure what the name of it is this week. Sometimes it's the USS What's Wrong now?, and sometimes it's the USS We're Stranded again.
"We used to joke about that as I was growing up. Especially when we were looking at some new gaseous anomoly and the scanners decided to go off line just when things started getting interesting."
He shrugs a little, relaxed, and hands Deb her reciently arrived beer. "It's most fascinating when things are changing so often. It's almost like a jigsaw puzzle that's constantly changing the picture you are working on."
A starry eyed look crosses his face for a fleeting moment, then he looks at Deb again. "Sorry, I love my job. Not many can say that, but I truely do."
He holds up his galss in salute, "To those who will always find the job they love." And takes a swig.

"Thank you for the beer. I love being at the helm, its the heart of the ship, along with the engines which I know so well, I can detect small variances by its feel, and movement. There is an old running expression that both engineering and helm share. The ship is my baby."
Raises her glass and takes a sip of the sip of her beer, and smiles at him over the rim of her glass.
"I grew up in the outer boroughs pf NYC, Brooklyn to be exact. While you grew up in the biggest play yard known to man I was playing on the beach that was a block from my house or the park. I dreamed of the stars. We used to go on the roof top to watch the fireworks or to hang out. I would lay on the roof top or on the beach and look up the stars determined to one day be among them. And here I am."
She smiled at the memory.

Drayce chuckles a little, "Well, growing up amongs the stars as I did, you find their irregularities fascinating. Some you have to go around, and cannot get close enough to actually see because of radiation or gravity. Others, you can get so close, you swear you could reach out and touch them - if they were cool enough that is.
"Sometimes I envy the ground grippers, but then I think of the few times I left the ship. So many new cultures to see and experience. Mum and Da always said that 'when you are in Rome, be a Roman', so we always followed local customs. Even if they were rather odd.
"I've never had to learn how to swim, but I have walked beaches that took my breath away. Such as Risa." A wistful expression crossed his face, "I remember those shore leaves the most. Until I entered the Academy I had never been to Tellus, nor had I the desire to. However, should I, for what ever reason, find my self grounded I think Tellus and Risa would have a hard time competing against eachother."
Watching her enjoy her beer, "I'm glad you like. It always seems aplicable to enjoy alcohol of anysort in someone's company. For some reason, drinking alone is so ... I don't know .. boring."

"My father said drinking alone was a sure sign of a problem waiting to happen. I have to disagree, he was a pessimist most of the time. While he saw a glass as half empty, mom and I saw it as half full." She laughed.
"So Mr Summersday," playfully said "what do you enjoy doing now in your spare time. Besides charming the ladies on the ship."

"Me, charm the ladies? Wouldn't think of it. I have many other things to do, besides go about and break hearts." He flashes one of his lopsided, innocent grins. "I have my hobby of space analysis to persue, my parents to write to, letters to read from frineds... Oh, all sorts of stuff. Why do you ask? I also, have to come in here, and watch the crew. Fascinating to see everyone gather and ebb and flow like spacial gasses."
His eyes hold a michievious light in them as he speaks, looking at Deborah, watching the way she moved, and thinking to him self how pretty she was. How graceful, and secure.

She looks at him and smiles playfully.
"Mr Summersday, perhaps your intention is not to charm the ladies but you do. Especially, that boyish innocent grin of yours."
"Dayce you said you have to come here?" She smiles as she takes a poke at humor again. "I had no idea the Admiral was assigning Ten Forward as a duty watch. I'll have to get on that list, sounds more like fun then work."
"Why did I ask what you enjoy doing in your spare time. Could be I might enjoy your friendship"

Chuckling a little. "Nah, it's not a duty assignment, but I just can't help but come in here and watch. It's lonely being in a room by yourself. I find I can concentrate better when I'm around others. This provides everything I need. Food, drink, people, conversation, and room to work if I choose.
"Even though I grew up with just my parents for company, you don't really get any place alone on a small science survey ship." He shrugs, dropping another of his grins.
"Though, I've never had anyone complement my grin that way before either." Looks at Deb, his blue eyes sparkling with mischief. "And, enjoying company is what we tend to gather for."
