Greetings Everyone.
I would like to, for a second, discuss the purpose of the various threads on the Terrasect, and method by how we are, going forward, going to utilized the threads labeled "Role Play" and "Season x, Episode y", especially since we are soon to be simming our actual launch.
The items labled "Role Play" are just that. If you role play outside of a live simulation, it can be separate from the simulation. There may be discontenuity from the actual simulation in the role play: I.E., Your character is on the bridge in the simulation, but in Tog's Grill in Role Play, or even Sickbay for a physical.
Items labeled "Season X, Episode Y" are our simulations, and they are more serious in nature. Here, we sim as if in a 'free sim' mode for the most part, until "Terrasect Actions" point a direction for us to move for plot purposes, such as a ship firing or important environmental issues occurring.
One thing that must stop is the "Location: Bar & Grille" such posts in the simulation. If you are posting in the simulation, that is when you're on duty. If you're posting in the Role Play, it's when you're not on duty. If you have need to be in sickbay or the Bar or anywhere else while you're on duty, you are to post in the simulation board, noting your location.
Civilians, you may post either place during different circumstances. However, you only are to post in the simulation if what you are doing is occurring during the main shift's duty time.
