Ann’Knox stepped out of the Turbo Lift and on to the corridor. As she turned the corner he saw two men and one was this hideous thing. As she was to enter her quarters…the man thing spoke to her, “Ann? What a surprise, either you’ve been following me or I really wasn’t clear after dinner.” She stopped at her tracks and was dumb founded that ‘it’ knew of her. She had no idea what this man was talking about. All she remembered was she was about to have dinner with Samuel. Who ever this thingya thought they had or whatever with her she didn’t know what to say.
“You’ll have to pardon my appearance, it’s part of the mission that I’ll be going on shortly, the good Doctor assures me she can put me back together again, I’ll be damned if I’m going to be this ships ‘Humpty Dumpty’…” Ann’ looked at the talking it again and she wasn’t quite putting the two and two together. As she was distracted at her current state of mind…if she even had a mind…she then looked closer to him and then back off.
“Fud’Bouts…” She said out load. Her eyes widened and she recognized it was GRANT! Her first thoughts were to kill the Chief medical officer. “What the hell did that blasted woman do to you!” She walked closer as if to touch his face…as she realized she couldn’t or he would know. So she played it off as if she didn’t want to hurt him. If his skin was now sensitive or what… “…and you wanted me to go to her…after seeing this I refuse to! Drug withdraw and craziness I rather go through then let the Scott touch me.”
She couldn’t get past the appearance…then she thought at least it wasn’t hair all over. Then it hit her! that this section must have holographic emitters. At least here she can transfer her self…so she could touch or be touched. Better replicated by the ship’s emitters then this jury-rigged comm. She waited for Sam to blink to transfer her self to the emitters on this deck. Ones he did and the man seemed that he never blinks but finally he had. So at the same time she tapped the comm. and she was moved with out a hick-up. As she instantly reappeared in time before Sam re opened his eyes. Also at the same time she was about to catch her comm. “…so mission. Why let Scotts do that to for a mission…” under her breath she added what she would do to her when she saw her. She couldn’t help but stare at Sam…with him looking like that she acted if he was infected with something and kept her distance. While she showed an affectionate concern to how he seemed he was in pain.
She then thought if she had her damn body she could have healed him quicker. At least enough that he wouldn’t be feeling any discomfort…as she figured that StarFleet was so privative in the medical area…she uttered under her breath again, go figure. She then thought to her self of time must have passed more then she thought. If they had dinner where the frack was she and who was with him?

His tail spiraled into a small helix as he heard Buford comment that "Mr. Hound is his father"
Before he culd comment, his badge chirped and he heard Grant on the other end, first apologizing for being late. Late for what he wasn't sure. As soon as he heard Grant's voice, his tail stiffened
He nodded as Grant went on , saying that he knew that Grabfoot kew that he was going on an away mission and he had forgotten to hand over his transfer of duties document before going into surgery, to insure that the security department had someone to report to in his absense
Of course, he was aware that Grant had been chosen for away team duty. He wouldn't forget something like that. Did Grant think him stupid or foregtful like a human?
He heard Grant go on and say that he's putting Kinsely in charge of handing the Security department. His ears flicked back in surprise then a bit of annoyance wondering why he chose Kinsely insead of him. He started to protest that he should be the one placed at the head of the security department but he held his tongue. As Grant pointed out, Harsting placed him in command of the Terrasect while Grant and him were off studying the natives about to become extinct. He couldn't be in two places at once
As Grant paused to give him a chance to respond, all he said to Grant was "As you wish, sir" before Grant cut the transmission
A few minutes pass before the officer Grant mentioned before came to the bridge to offer the PADD Grant said he had forgot to sign/turn in

Although Sam’s senses were ‘on alert’, he kept a poker tournament face about him, mastered by years of card playing and security work; he burst out laughing at Ann’s excitement in response to his surgery. Raising a mocking eyebrow, to keep the humor “What, don’t you like the ‘new me’?” he retorted, unable to keep from smiling; his hands extending from the top of his body motioned down towards his feet like a model on display.
Sam couldn’t help but continue to smirk, albeit not his generally warm smile as the surgery changed his obvious appearance, as she went on about now not wanting to see the doctor at all; drug induced craziness be damned.
“Mission? Yes, the Away Mission that I’m going on. To the planet we’re orbiting…” Sam noticed a slight ‘blank look’ on her face, but he continued “The asteroid, planetary catastrophe, Prime Directive…” Sam’s altered face squirmed a bit, a look of concern, as it were. “Was I that boring at dinner you don’t remember talking about the moral battle of the Prime Directive we’re facing?” pausing a moment, he thought about how to continue. If Ann was anything, she was walking knowledge, the idea that she couldn’t remember a conversation from only a few hours ago was definitely not like her. He figured he’d ‘pry’ a bit more “Or was the food poisoned that that Feringi fed us? Granted I was a little queasy when you force fed me that mushroom, blah” he shuttered “but I thought you looked fine afterwards.”
There it was again, a small unaware appearance in Ann’s face, the confidence that she exhibited so forcefully during dinner seemed to be lacking, if not nonexistent. That tapping was back, and a slight onrush of a knot at the base of his neck almost caught him off guard; but he caught it just in time. “The kiss…” he thought to himself, “it may be the key…” the words playing over and over in his mind, but he figured that he may have her ‘on the ropes’. “Or maybe it was me, maybe I’m just such a bad kisser that you want to forget all that happened earlier…” Sam put on a sour look, a pout if you will, as if his pride had been stomped on and kicked out an airlock; a good play he figured. He watched Ann with a trained eye…

After leaving her office she walked into the exam room. "Well, now its not the elusive Capt Harsting. Your looking well for the wear." she smiled then helped him to lay back. Turning on the medical scanners she started reading the data stream.
As the information came in she saw not surprised to notice his stress levels were high. Faced with the dilamna he had, and then making a decision that may negatively impact his career woudl do that.

Major Kinsely had just finished communicating with his marines and gave them pacific orders on some PTs. He normally have each marine teams rotate on PTs so that they are always up to par and always have something to do when they are not currently needed.
Duncan was able to get a communication that he would be placed over Security Department while Grant was on the away mission. Grant may had his reasons placing him over the security department. It wasn't something that he ask nor required to know. He did hoped all things went will on the away mission for both Harsting and Grant.
Duncan could tell that something was bothering LtCmdr GrabFoot Of Two Dawns, but he didn't asked what was on his mind. There are somethings that are not meant to be asked. He tapped on his commbadge to get in contact with Ensign Zabdiel.
+T+"Major Kinsely to Ensign Zabdiel. How are patrols coming along?", he asked him.

Kate was on the Command Deck watching all the Star Dorks buzzing around. Mostly of this dumb rock and some dumb people about to be squish. All this UN crap she almost gaged on the emo sh!t. Kate listens in to the operations of the them she would go to each station. She would stand exactly where each of them Starfleet would stand. As if to mimic a possession over them, which really was that she was in Phase Cloak and was able to walk through bulkheads and organic matter.
Kate would stand where one Star Dorks would stand then access the terminal at the same time. She would do this for all stations together the best Intel she would require. She finds more details of them mission and she plans to use her own internal transporters to piggyback with their to the planet. Once there she will catalog the inhabitance before these frilling creature dies.
Lastly she reaches the Tactical station she stands where Grabfoot stood and observed his operations. As he learned how he moved she began to execute commends learning more Intel. This entire thing Kate was doing was almost perfect cover. Whatever odd actions they find later it would only lead back to the Star Dorks and not her.
While there she recalls cataloging the Furball from before but not the dark Furball in the front. This one was a dog and she looks back at the cat. She thought to her self that all this frilling animal farm sh!t was assuming. It’s like a Beastly kinky reality Kate could seriously have a lot of fun here. A lot of men and a few cute women as well to get to know more later…* Bites lower lip* If she had a stick to get firm by she would be already. She waited for this slow @ss Star Dorks move it would no time till the rock bowling balls the pins below. She was surprise even how they were able to even operate this ship let alone breathed. From working with Star Dorks in the pass from this reality and others she found them OK but not great. Just a few of them she was able to get pass and she them as people and not lower creatures.
She watched them almost as if admiring them but she would never admit that to anyone not even Annie. She thought if what she does in her body will she know of it? She shrugs it off and also doesn’t think twice about the decoy she left on the Holodeck.

“What, don’t you like the ‘new me’?” Ann’ just stared at him she didn’t know what to say. She pondered, ‘do I have to answer…’ It was scary…more so disgusting what had happen to his face. She pondered if that was the only thing that was modified. She hope the rest of him was the same but knowing the bloody Scott woman! She gave a unsure ill look on her face it was something she just couldn’t really hold back. “Mission? Yes, the Away Mission that I’m going on. To the planet we’re orbiting… The asteroid, planetary catastrophe, Prime Directive… Was I that boring at dinner you don’t remember talking about the moral battle of the Prime Directive we’re facing?”
Ann’ pondered that she was glad this race was gonna be killed. She then quickly smacked her hand then looked back up at Samuel. She then almost shuttered at seeing him like that but she tried her best to hold off. She said to her self, ‘I’ll never belittle humans again if he returns to normal.’ She snaps back and was more lost of what he was talking about but she just went with it… “Or was the food poisoned that that Feringi fed us? Granted I was a little queasy when you force fed me that mushroom, blah but I thought you looked fine afterwards.”
Ann’ gave a ‘ew!’ sound under her breath about mushrooms. She hated mushrooms and she was really lost at what frack his talking about. … “Or maybe it was me, maybe I’m just such a bad kisser that you want to forget all that happened earlier…” The only one she could recall was when she kissed him in his quarters. She wanted to do other things but she didn’t want to be a very s l u t like Kate. She stood there and thought, ‘No… wait. NOooo… but no oh god no.’ Ann’Knox thought there could only be one way to know if that s l u t y T w a t'Ta touched Grant. Ann’ took a deep breath and tried to ignore the nasty perversion that Samuel appeared as.
She grabs him by his uniform and pulled him towards her. She gave a big kiss right on the lips…even though she wanted to dry heave. She closed her eyes and imagined him exactly how he was that time in his quarters. This time she did sum tongue she needed to know if Kate has been in his mouth. As she softly pressed her lips against his upper lip and pulled slowly away them pressed back on to his lower lip and then stuck her tpugue in his mouth. She tasted the sweet oils that Kate puts in her mouth before kissing anyone. She then quickly pulls away and leave Grant in the moment…as Ann’ popped off him and was furious on that bloody b!tch! “Fud’Bouts…”
Now she thought how did she do this and where even more where’s her body! She knew that Kate must have been doing something ‘Kate like’. She was unsure how to find her now and she looked very odd in front of Sam. She then pondered she wanted to be sure…she then kissed him again giving the same passion. Well it was more of trying to dig up the taste of the oils but it could be easily mistaken as passion. Ones off him again she thought now his kind of in the mood for some other but she then recalled she a damn hologram and she stormed off down the corridor. Walking off rather for no reason just need to walk away in frustration of Kate’s antics. “Fud’Bouts…”

Sam watched Ann as he spoke, she seemed to shift uncomfortably as he went on and on about ‘their’ earlier dinner. And as he expected, at the mention of the prior kiss, he almost thought that he glimpsed a moment of panic in Ann. He leaned back against his quarter’s doorway, in a defeated manner, as Ann just stood in the corridor; he’d lay it on thick.
Ann suddenly advanced towards him, catching Sam completely unaware and unprepared, grasped him tightly by the arms and kissed him. Sam struggled to keep from moaning when she grabbed him, not so much as a result of the kiss but from the pain shooting through his body by her grasp, he was still very ‘tender’ as a result of the surgery. Unbeknownst to all but those without X-Ray vision, Sam’s toes were curled within his boots as a result from the pain, but he didn’t cry out or even groan; he just took it.
When she pulled away, he regarded her facial expression and body language, even the kiss. It was different, nothing like the kiss during dinner. This time it was, more forced and yet inquisitive; as a first time kiss between lovers as they try and figure out what the other enjoys. But even with that angle, it was different from the one earlier. While Sam was distracted and thinking about what just happened, she spoke what Sam new was a personal curse of hers. His left eyebrow rose inquisitively.
Before being able to say anything, she lunged towards him again and kissed him again, the same way as before, but again nothing like the kiss during dinner. Sam deduced that regardless of the length of time that had passed since he was in a romantic relationship with a women, and judging by Ann’s often ‘curious’ actions, this was not a kiss of romance or passion but it almost felt as if she was looking for something; he almost burst out laughing when he thought she could have been looking for his tonsils.
When she pulled back again, she did an about faced and stormed off down the corridor, without a word. Just before she passed out of ear shot of Sam, he heard her use her personal curse again “Fud’Bouts…” Sam let out a sigh, although he tried to hide the thoughts racing through his mind; he knew it within himself she had to be a better kisser then that. Quickly shaking his head, trying to kick loose the thoughts that were in the front of his mind, he let out an additional sigh. “Sometimes I hate being right…” he said quietly to no one in particular "I hope this isn't one of those times."
Walking back into his quarters, he opened up an old ‘medic kit’ that he had with him and grabbed a hypo spray that had a very mild pain killer in it, injecting himself in the waist. Sam knew the Doctor said he’d only be tender for a while, but he doubted she thought he’d be manhandled by a women; a fact that he thought he’d keep to himself.
Sam sat back on his bed, putting his feet up, retrieved another cup of ‘Caff” and took a moment to let the medicine kick in. At the very least, the throbbing had to go away. After a few minutes he activated his combadge “Grant to Major Kinesly and Lt. Commander Grabfoot, please report to my quarters to discuss a matter of Ship Security prior to the Away Mission.”
Waiting for acknowledgements, he closed the channels and activated his communicator again “Grant to Bridge,” knowing that Lt. Ganesa Ravious was at the station and a very capable officer “Lt. Ravious, please conduct a level 1 security scan of the entire Terrasect, a scan of the Hull of the Terrasect and a level 1 diagnosis of all computer systems aboard ship; let me know if anything looks ‘normal yet odd’.” He said, not feeling the need to go into to much detail currently. “Also Lt., activate the security file Alpha Kilo 47783, code Gamma 42, and conduct an additional scan using the parameters contained within that file. Let me know if anything shows up.” Waiting for the acknowledgement, Sam then closed that link. The security file was one of several security improvement programs he’d put together after their last engagement with Ann’s race, although a long shot, the scanning parameters had the chance of picking up Drak’s ‘cloaking/stealth’ suits.
He had a very bad feeling, deep down inside, although he hoped it would turn out to be just a waste every ones time which he could then chalk up to a test. With Ann’s actions all but confirming his suspicions, he thought he might actually now know what was going on; “Kate…” he said softly under his breath, he shuttered at the thought of kisser her instead of who he thought he was kissing; his eyes narrowed in abject anger.

Post by Capt Grab Foot Of~Two Dawns on Apr 10, 2008 7:55:41 GMT -5
Location: Bridge, Captain's chair
He was sitting in the Captain's seat when the call from Grant came in, since there was nothing that could be done tactically for the time being, except for routine checks and maintenance, which he programmed the computer to do automatically on an hourly basis
His ears perked up as did his attention level, not because of who was calling but the urgency in his voice. Personally, he didn't like Mr. Grant but professionally, he knew Grant to be calm and level headed person, even under pressure. He didn't let things get to him but something had indeed got to him by the urgency that was in his voice
His own instincts went up a notch, to yellow alert, to a cautious but stealthy mode as he heard Grant request his, and Major Kinsely's, presence in his personal quarters for a Security matter. He started to get the impression something was not right. The feeling grew as he over heard Grant giving instructions to Lt Ravious to not only perform a level 1 diagnostic of all computer systems but to open a security file that had most likely been deemed highly secured and not to be opened but only in an extreme emergency
He stood as Grant closed the connection, his tail uncoiling from his waist and began twitching. He turned a look to Lt Ravious "Let me know as well of what you find. Additionally, let me know if anything else that should happen. I'll be going to Grant's quarters. You have the bridge until I get back. I hope to not be gone long"
With that, he turned and headed into the nearest TL and called out the deck to Grant's quarters and off he went
Moments later, he walked out of the TL and down the hall. With his stride, it took him less time to get there then it would a human. By the urgency in Grant's voice, he knew he should be loping ( running ) but he didn't think things were that serious... yet. He reached Grant's quarters and rang the chime. As he waited, he detected Ann's scent and knew she was here before Grant had called. He also smelled something else, something he couldn't quite identify. His curiosity rose a notch, as did his internal alarm. He can usually remember people's smells but there was one that eluded him. This smelled of trouble brewing

She felt a strange change in her surroundings; it was just a feeling at first up until a communiqué was produced. It was security addressing the operation’s officer to perform an action that could discover her. Kate arms the Bio Armor to go to full stealth mode. This will now push her completely out of normal space and also will make it harder to stay with the Terrasect. She makes an anchor of senses in the subspace she is now residing as to keep her where she was. She floats there as if she was in space but was at the same place as she was on the command deck. She now just a bloody observer only hearing what is said rather then being able to feel what’s around her.

It wasn’t until the second chime came from the door that Sam heard it, distracted by his thoughts. “Enter.” he replied to the door, allowing Mr. Grabfoot to enter. Putting down his ‘Caff’ drink, he stood up and looked to the Lt. Cmdr. “Ah, Mr. Grabfoot, please feel free to have a seat and a drink if you’d like.” said Sam, as he motioned towards the 4X4 dinner table he had in the corner of his quarters. “You’ll have to forgive my appearance,” he began “this is what happens if you fall asleep in sickbay with the good Doctor…” he grinned.
He knew all well that Lt. Cmdr. Grabfoot knew he was going on the Away Mission and that surgery was a mission requirement, so he took the moment to try and lighten the mood with the Commander with some humor. It was unfortunate, but Sam was all to aware that the relationship between him and the Commander had fallen to professional requirements only, as a result with Ann’s obvious interest in him. Although initially only a one sided affair on her part, recent occurrences have begun to sway Sam’s possible interest in her; again something he was sure Grabfoot could hold against him. Regardless of their personal relationship status, Grabfoot was still a good officer and with Captain Harsting ‘under the knife’, the Terrasect was his and he knew she was in good hands.
Sam moved slowly, showing fairly obvious signs of injury/soreness, relating to the surgery. Although he made now outward vocations of distress, Sam had been tender before Ann grabbed him, now he was sore; pain killer not withstanding. Sam’s quarters was not set up for guests, so he pulled over an old footlocker and stood it on its side to act as a third seat, once the Major arrived. Sam took this seat and offered the other ‘normal’ chair to Grabfoot.
“Recent situations have caused me to have a severe case of déjà vu, from a year ago or so.” Sam began, as he looked at the Commander, downing another good sized gulp of his drink. “Back aboard the Terrasect when I was originally posted aboard, my first six months…” he trailed off, trying initially to get the chronological order exact, but then realized it wasn’t important. Sam set his glass down, and tapped the table with a few of his fingers. “When ‘Ann’ first appeared,” Sam knew the mention of her ran the risk of being taken completely out of context with the Commander, a direct result of their lack of personal friendship and the sensitive issue, but it needed to be said “and we had our ‘first contact’ with her race. How she initially acted outwardly hostile, then was calm and approachable, then hostile again.” pausing a moment “To find out that it was a result of her ‘sister’ which led to the battle that started aboard the space station then ended on the Terrasect near engineering, a battle in which several of the crew were injured; including you and I.”
Sam was sure that he remembered, and it wasn’t meant as a pry, it was necessary to help fill in the gaps of what was going on and probably begin putting the pieces together for the Commander. “During that engagement, we were under the impression that I had destroyed/killed, this ‘evil sister’ of hers with the overloading phaser blast. Once that occurred, and we had another run in with Ann, she was a different and better person. During that time, I learned a lot from her…” realizing that his words could be construed, he quickly corrected them “a lot about her species which I appropriately and immediately reported to Starfleet Command and Starfleet Security. These reports were immediately classified as Starfleet Command began to look into this ‘Drak’ species. Unfortunately, as you’re well aware, they possess very alien technology, some of it very far advanced and removed from anything within the Federation.” He paused again, reaching for his cup to take another drink, realizing it was empty, he frowned but went back to the replicator and got another. “Now, that being said, Starfleet Command and I were able to create a few security precautions we ‘hoped’,” he emphasized the word ‘hoped’ “would allows us to combat the ‘Drak’ on some matters.” Without needing to be blunt, he knew that Lt. Cmdr. Grabfoot would put two and two together, realizing he was referring to the security file he was sure to have heard mentioned to Operations while still on the bridge.
New cup in hand, and after taking another big gulp from it, Sam overemphasized his shoulder shrug on purpose “Although we have no way of knowing if it’ll work, or have any effect. It’s been over a year…” he eased back to his footlocker seat “Since Ann appeared this last time, only a week ago or so, we’ve spent a lot of time talking; getting additional background information on her species and her situation specifically.” Sam knew he needed to keep most of the private information she had shared with him just that; private. But they deserved to know what Sam was thinking. “The ‘Drak’ have a piece of equipment, something referred to as a ‘resurrection unit’ that allows their soul, for lack of a better term, to be reincarnated into another body and continue living; as long as the soul is transferred within a short amount of time from the bodies death…” Sam realized that he had been looking at himself in his glass, he grimaced at the sight, quickly thinking to himself “ugh, I wouldn’t want to kiss me either…”
He returned his gaze to the Commander, not sure if he’d completely lost him or how closely he was following, but all of the foreknowledge led him to this conclusion. “It is my personal belief, being presented with what information I have to this date, that the ‘evil’ sister has returned…” letting it sink in a moment “I think ‘Kate’ is aboard the Terrasect.” He concluded, allowing the Commander to take in all of what was going on, and properly so realize the seriousness of the situation.
All of this was information that Grabfoot needed, as he was there during the engagement that little year or so ago, but it wouldn’t help the Major at all. Once he arrived, they’d go over possible defenses and allow the Terrasect crew to at least be on guard, just incase. He sipped his Caff while him and the Commander continued to speak.

Post by Capt Grab Foot Of~Two Dawns on Apr 11, 2008 10:33:11 GMT -5
He stood there a few seconds after he rang the chime to Grant's quarters. When he didn't answer, he wondered if he had stepped out for a second or two by the time he had got from the bridge, which he had came straight from and he didn't see Grant in the hallway. With a whisker twitch and an impatient flick of his tail, he rang the chime again
He heard his "Enter" after he rang the chime a second time and he done just that. It took only a moment for his eyes to adjust to the lighting. Even though he knew Grant went through surgery for the Away Mission, he was unprepared for the sight that was before him. His nose told him that it was Grant, but his eyes told him a different story. His ears flicked back in surprise and shock and he openly stared at Grant as he put what he was drinking down and heard him state “You'll have to forgive my appearance. This is what happens if you fall asleep in sickbay with the good Doctor…”
Grab Foot knew Grant was trying to lighten the mood. Course, he knew that the good doctor, as he stated, would not do something like that intentionally.. he hoped. In response to his humor, his tail spiraled into a helix and he decided to put his own brand of humor in "I suppose so. The doctor has made you even more uglier then when you were as a human" His tail spiraled into an even tighter helix as an expression of amusement crossed his facial features. He actually did think he was ugly, since he had no fur to cover him, the only fur he had was on his head and that was very little to Eeiauoan standards ( Sivaoan too )
He saw Grant moving a bit slowly and gingerly, obviously still sore from the physical altering surgery. An ear twitched as he heard his sounds of discomfort. He made a mental note to not go in for any type of surgery, if he can help it, anytime soon. He watched as Grant offer him a "normal" looking chair for him to sit in. He glanced at the chair, disdainfully, tilting one ear back. He didn't like sitting in a chair since most of them were made for humans, and did not give room for his tail. He politely declined the chair and opted to sit on the floor
He listened as Grant started to tell him why he had called him down, and away from the bridge. Listened as he told how he had a sense of Deja vu and when Ann first appeared. He nodded as he remembered both events, since he was also posted to the Terrasect when Grant came aboard. He also remembered how Hostile Ann was until she had gotten used to things aboard and then she had calmed down quite considerably. It was then that he had tried to approach her and try to become friends with her. In fact, he was on the station speaking with Ann, trying to get to know her better and trying to ask her to go out with him, but he remembered that they both got interrupted by various people. Then before he knew it, Ann was attacked by some armored intruder. He went to Ann's aid and defense, but it turned out, she didn't need his help. She donned her own weapons and armor and began her counter attack on the intruder. As he unsuccessfully tried to keep the intruder at bay, he was dealt a grievous blow, leaving his seriously injured and rendered unconscious. Some time later, he woke up with some of his injuring healed but the battle was still going on a couple decks below sickbay, near the engineering section. Against doctor's orders, he went down to try and help Grant and the security teams, only to find Grant and the intruder doing battle inside a high level security force field. Grant was serious injured and the intruder was also injured. Much to his surprise, the intruder's armor was gone and he could see she looked much like a human female, What was even more surprising is that the female looked much like Ann, but it wasn't Ann
He urged Grant to lower the force field, but he was too injured to hear him. In a last desperate effort to put down the intruder, Grant put his phaser on over-load and threw it at the intruder. The resulting blast seemingly incinerated the intruder and nearly incinerated Grant in the process but he had escaped with severe burns. The resulting blast had also put him back in sickbay, with damaged ears and eyes. He later learned the intruder was Ann's sister trying to get her to go back to where they had came from. It was a battle he tried to forget. A battle that nearly killed him..
The memories he tried so hard to forget came rushing back when Grant mentioned the events of the Terrasect from a year or so ago. His tail stiffened and his fur spiked out a bit as the feelings came rushing back. How he felt ashamed that he was not able to stop Kate and protect Ann
He tried to focus back on what Grant was saying, also trying to smooth down his fur as Grant explained that it was presumed that the blast had killed Kate and he went on to explain that her race, the Drak was reported to StarFleet Command and Security and he got to befriend Ann and got to learn a great deal about the Drak. He also thought it was the time where Ann and Grant got closer on a more personal level as well
Grant explained that security files had been created concerning the drak, ones that had been deemed highly classified and deemed as en extreme emergency use. The file that he spoke of to Lt Ravious. He nodded, silently letting Grant know that he had put the pieces of the puzzle together, so to speak
He continued to listen as he explained the device that the drak have, a resurrection unit which could bring the deceased back from the dead if the dead had died just recently. It transfers the soul to another body so the person can live again. his ears arched back in surprise. He understood what it was but he didn't think that such a thing could happen
After Sam had said that in his opinion the "evil sister", that Kate has returned, Grab Foot shot to his feet, his whiskers and tail stiffening and his fur spiking in alarm and surprise "WHAT?!!" He exclaimed so loud, he was sure those on the bridge would hear him
He then started pacing relentlessly, his feet claws scraping on the deck "What the.. he then went into a serious of growls, grunts, hisses and spits then went back to federation standing ",..is she doing back here?? We need to go to red alert immediately if she is back looking for a fight. First we have the hunk of rock out there to deal with, then we're trying to save these people from said hunk of rock. Then we have the return of that... that.." A few seriously unkind descriptions of Kate floated through his mind before he settled on one "Female Menace returning to wreck the whole mission and destroy the Terrasect with it, most likely" He knew that female menace was a kind description of Kate, kind compared to what he was thinking
Frustrated, he growled "I am beginning to this ship is cursed with bad luck! In the name of SunFall Of~Ennien, what else could possibly happen?" He then realized the question he asked, even rhetorically, he then looked at Grant "Don't tell me, I don't want to know"
He paused and continued to pace and to hear Grant's response and Kinsely's when he gets there

Location Bridge: Helm
A few seconds later after Buford asked Ganesa about dinner, Grant calls Grab Foot to his Quarters, Buford could hear the urgency in Grants voice and sense Grab Foots Attention Rise, Buford thought that strange in the short time he knew Grab Foot he knew he did like Grant then again neither did Buford but he respected him, and reckoned Grab Foot did as well
He looks at a Ganesa when Grab Foot gives her Command till he gets back Buford Similes but it looks more like a growl, but his tail wags showing he is happy she got it
Once Grab Foot leaves the Bridge "I see the Dog ain't good enough" Buford says his tail waging faster in amusement as he looks at Ganesa "Cats go figure" he says in amusement
